Hersheypark on RCT 3
Ccron10 replied to Ccron10's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
The thing is I've been focusing more on this than Axis, I hope to work on it sometime this week. -
So Talon now has that on-ride video thing? Sweet! Isn't the exit path right below the jojo roll or a net? I thought there was.

I just thought of an idea. Maybe if I designed the park on graph paper first and then build it. Maybe that could make my catch-up time a little faster. -

BREAKING NEWS While working on my new Emerald Lake park, I accidentally saved the park on the HP park! But! I will re-build it! I will not let this project fail! But this also gives me a chance to correct some of the mistakes I made on the park! Stay Tuned for more updates on the rebuilding! -
I have changed the name on the park back to one of it's former names, Emerald Lake. After months of it sitting on my computer and being sidetracked with other parks, I have finally decided what to do. There will be a 10 year (on the game's time) 10 phase, multi million dollar expansion to turn this classic park into a cool theme park for adventure seeking families. The History: After opening in the late 1980's by the name of Geboldi-Brooks Lake, the park has had a classic touch to it, but after the Brooks company went bankrupt, the park started to fall into disrepair. The famous Geboldi Company which became a world-known theme park operator, kept the park and in 1999, planned to revive some life into Geboldi Lake. Their plans called for a re-built version of their Razu wooden coaster and also a few other rides as well. But as the year 2006 came to a close, the company wanted to get out of the theme park business, so they sold all of their parks to some developers who either wanted to close the parks or develop them even more. Geboldi Lake was one of the lucky ones, but not too lucky. The first owner which was a new amusement company called Golden Gate Inc. created a 4 phase plan that wanted an Animal Park, Water Park, and Amusement park built, but after a few months, the company decided to pull out and it was sold yet again. The last owners were the Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Co. They wanted to turn the park into a an ultimate resort, and so the name was changed to Hersheypark: Geboldi Lake. The park was never really that popular and HERCO pulled out of their plans because of their limited budget for it and the use of the Geboldi name. Since then the park layed abandoned until now. The Plans: The new owners changed the name back to just Emerald Lake and are planning a new 10 year, 10 phase project. No details are going to be released execpt only for the first year plans... -The main entrance is planning on getting a new make over with a new Alpine Theme along with a pay-one price admission. Which means a new ticket gate must be built. -Along with that, the abandoned Inverted Impulse Coaster in the far left of the park will open with a new name which is undecided yet. I will try to work on my HP re-creation and this park at the same time, so their might be a longer distance between updates than usual, check back later for the first update!

Air and Nemesis looks really great and so do some of the other coasters. I think you could add a station building around Racer, but becides that, not bad. -

A lot has happened with the Boardwalk in a month. The pools now have water in them, almost all the scenery datails are finished, the park has opened with some cool scenery for the park's 100 season and the park has finally updated the Boardwalk page on the website! Now it's going to have podcasts with more details on some of the new attractions and details in the area! Here's a link to the section, it looks a lot better than the last one! http://www.hersheypa.com/attractions/hersheypark/boardwalk/index.php -

^^ The color was just changed, thanks for reminding me. UPDATE #15 Pioneer Frontier Construction (Cont.) Not much progress today; the station for Storm Runner has started to take shape, Sidewinder's station is finished, the gazebo and Whistle Stop Restaurant is finished. The foundations for the other buildings are built too. I won't do much work tomorrow because I want to work on my roller coaster model. The Pioneer Frontier midway so far. Sidewinder's station and supports. The first floor is done and I've also added the elevator shaft! -

UPDATE #14 Pioneer Frontier and Storm Runner Construction I had a little trouble constructing the midway in front of Sidewinder. With the angle that area is created, it became a tough challenge, but I've overcome it. There's big news. Storm Runner and Sidewinder are finally constructed! You will notice that I've added the duel station and transfer track plus I didn't use the track given in the game! In the next few days ( I think some of you guys seen these videos) I will post a link to view some of HP's coasters that I've built, but there's no scenery! I'm going to save Minetown for the ending and construct Midway America and the Boardwalk first. The Kissing Tower will be the last ride I will add to the park. Just looking at my map now shows that I have at least half of the park completed! More Coming soon! I changed the color of SDL. I still need to build the station around it. What's been lately added. Dry Gulch RXR and The Claw. It really looks like the Theatre! -

I probably guessed that you'd go on the opening day. It looks cool how they decorated the Kissing Tower. These pics could be a good reference for my RCT recreation. -

UPDATE #14 Music Box Way Construction Not much done today, just a few scenery touch ups, and Fender Bender was added, but that's all. Tiny Timbers got some scenery and Dizzy Drums got a roof. I hope to add the theatre tomorrow and get to working on Pioneer Frontier by sometime this weekend. Fender Bender to the right and Tiny Timbers to the left. Over all view of what's been done today. -

UPDATE #13 Music Box Way Construction I've finally got RXCC finished and made as realistic as possible. Part of the Monorail has been built, a few kiddie rides, and Studio H. I still need to build Fender Bender and Music Box Theatre. The terrain in this area is kind of complicated, but I'm holding in there. I hope to build the Claw and station for Dry Gulch Railroad, from there is Pioneer Frontier and StormRunner! The park's starting to get it's shape! Tiny Timbers, Mini Pirate, and the foundations for the Theatre and Fender Bender. The monorail's entrance. You can see the walls inside the ride. The building came out great! -

Take the old Ghost Ship ride at Kennywood for an example, that ended up totaling itself and a few other rides. -
Wasn't there another flashback a couple of seasons ago with Desmond and that old guy and he gets killed, but he come back to life. By the way, what happened to him or was it not a flashback? I'm confused.

UPDATE #12 Comet Hollow Completion and Music Box Way Construction Work has been running smoother this last couple of days. A new scenery pack has been uploaded, Comet Hollow is nearly complete and now work has turned to Music Box Way. The Sooperdooperlooper station has been built and the rest of the ride will be built later down the line. I won't start Minetown until I get as far as constructing Trailblazer. In Music Box Way, the games building at the bottom of the skyview building has been built ( I never knew it was there until now), Buzzy Bees has been added, work on Skyview has been finished. The turnaround is a second station just to let you know. Reese's Xtreme Cup Challenge has been built, all that needs to be done to it is add the building around it. Comet Hollow Paddleboat Cafe and SDL station. (take notice of the elevater shaft!) RXCC without a biulding. Skyview is completed. New paths have been added to Founder's Circle. -
Death at Legoland Billund
Ccron10 replied to mightypotato's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think some employees should be a little more aware of their surroundings. They could of shut the ride down when she went to retreive it. It would've been only like a minute to two to get the wallet for the guest. May she rest in peace. -

Oh, I forgot to tell you. I've talked to someone who rode the wildcat with the new trains and he said that it made the ride less rougher and even better! Good job! -
This past week, I've started mapping out support locations. This was a little difficult because of the compact and twitsed layout of the ride. Also, big news. The ride's height has been shortened by 1 ft because of the complications of transporting the model (dad's truck has a cap which brings the height down to 3ft). I was planning of having the top section disconnect from the model, but that would've been too much hassle. I have no photos to post, but I was maybe thinking about renovating the website for it (again).

UPDATE #11 Comet Hollow Construction I took a week's break to relax and think about what's to come. Here's a new update. Work on Comet Hollow has started and Wave Swinger, the games building and Tilt-A-Whirl have been built, I've also worked on Skyview a little bit, lengthened Spring Creek, and layed out the area where the Immelmann for Great Bear will be. The fruits of my labor. The games stall completed. Comet Hollow The Comet Hollow games stall earlier today. -
Awsome Raptor Model
Ccron10 replied to Eric_Smith's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
The model kind of looks like it's 3 ft tall from looking at the pic of the kid next to it. That kind of gives me an idea of what the height of my model will look like. I might've seen this before. -

8car help!!!!!!!
Ccron10 replied to Thorpe park maniac's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
8cars is a trainer or a cheat program that can do almost anything to beat an objective, build a really tall coaster or even build through stuff, etc. I, myself don't use 8cars to merge stuff. Even though you can still do that with it, I use the Son of Beast trainer to do that. Even though you get a lot of error messages, if you save a lot, it works really well.
