  1. I've just found this out! There IS going to be a new roller coaster for the park in the 2008 season! Also, there's a 99.9% chance that it will be Steel Vemom. This is all according to Screamscape and a local newspaper article below. This is going to be good!
  2. 1. Extract All of the .zip file. 2. Go into the newly created folder and copy all of the .dat files inside. 3. Go into your RCT2 Objdata file and paste them there. DO NOT copy the folder, just the .dat files. 4. When you go into the game, go into to the Scenario Creater and in the Scenery tab, the custom scenery that you've downloaded should be there.
  3. I've just found this on Screamscape. It looks like taller rides could be coming to the park and also maybe Steel Venom! See> http://www.screamscape.com/html/dorney_park.htm
  4. Where were the parents when this happened? Man, that kid must be really stupid.
  5. Could this be going where BTTF was? It seems like an interesting concept, I'm interested to see how it's going to be done.
  6. UPDATE #10 Der Deitschplatz Completion and Comet Hollow Construction ....And now for the moment you've all been waiting for! The Comet has been built! The station has been finished for it and also work has started on Skyview, Music Box Way, and Comet Hollow. Although I still need to add the roof to Crustano's Deli, the PA Dutch area is completed. Now that I passed the toughest part of construction, there's an execellent chance of this park getting completed! In the center is the Skyview station and also the Comet It is! It's the Comet! Wait a minute! What's that blue building at the bottom of the screen?! It can't be.....
  7. Good TR. I guess I should get together a few pics of my fair and post them up too.
  8. UPDATE #9 Der Deitschplatz Construction It's been a couple of days since I had an update, but during that time I was figuring out how to create Der Deitschplatz, the PA dutch part of the park. During this point, I usually would give up hope and and scrap an attempt of finishing the park. But this time it ain't the case! The reason why is the angle of the Comet and the direction I'm going. What I did to solve the problem is mark down where I approx. want the Comet to be and build away from it. What I've done so far is built the Get the Picture building and the Craftbarn. More to Come! Comments, Questions, etc. are welcome! It's getting bigger and bigger. No trees have been added yet. You can see to the right the approx. footprint of the Comet The Craftbarn
  9. It does kind of look thrilling with that final drop at the end. I can't wait to see the 2007 park map.
  10. UPDATE #8 Founder's Circle Completion I am proud to announce that Founder's Circle is fully completed! I may still need to add benches and trash cans, but that's no big deal. I found a great tent to cover the Carousel, it looks almost like the real one! Comments please! The whole park so far. The Carrousel The overhangs look so real. Tiny Tracks Scrambler, Space Age, Helicopters, and Traffic Jam. All that's missing is the Comet and Kissing Tower in the background. This is the finished area. This was earlier today.
  11. I would've added another hill, but there would've been enough space. In the real world this would've been a coaster, but this is the only thing close to a Himalaya.
  12. UPDATE #7 Founder's Circle Construction Rhineland is completed! Work has just started on Founder's Circle and the first ride has been built! The ride is the Mini Himalaya and it looks awesome! Take a look! More soon! Not much change Cool or what!?!
  13. UPDATE #6 Completion of Rhineland Rhineland is 99% complete and Founder's Circle has just been started. I still need to finish Famiglia's Pizza, but after that it will be completed. The first building is finished for Founder's Circle which is Hersheypark Kids, but also the statue was done, execpt instead of Milton Hershey in the center, it's just 2 golden lion statues. Here's what I've done so far. Rhineland I can't beleive how real it looks! That building in the left corner is the first building of Founder's Circle. This is where the Hereshey statue would be. Famiglia's Pizza Place (Under Construction) Lower Rhineland shops. The old Skyride Station The Kosher Mart
  14. I kind of think that schools aren't doing much for security these days. Just how many of your schools have metal detectors, security cameras and a security guard or two altogether? Heck, my high school has none of that stuff, the only places that they have them are in one of the computer rooms (in which it got stolen), and one or two outside. Our junior high is a different story, they do have security cameras, but nothing as far as metal detectors! As far as the media, I do think that it's all screwed up these days. And I'm taking a bet that if it was a white person, they wouldn't say white. These days, news stories vary between which stations you watch. Some like to "spin" the story, but there are a small few that tell it like it is. This goes for newspapers too. Some of this stuff gets me angry!
  15. UPDATE #5 Near Completion of Rhineland There was a lot of work done on Rhineland today. Creekside Catering is done, almost all the buildings are layed out and half of then are completed. I still need to add scenery and trees to the area. Founder's Circle construction does not seem to far away. Construction of Kosher Mart Rineland from a distance Let me know if I designed these buildings wrong because I don't know. The Pavilions Creekside Catering Pavilion
  16. At least let the employees drink something! From that picture, all I could see was just someone drinking a soda, she was not work at a ride. I would not care if some ride attendant was drinking a soda while working. Something like that is not important, but talking on a cell phone, now that's important!
  17. UPDATE #4 Completion of Tudor Square and Construction of Rhineland Tudor Square is officially completed! Yesterday was kind of a touch-up day for this section, I've completed the Chocolate house building, added a little more scenery and other utilities as well. I am kind of amazed at how well it looks and I'm anxious to start on the next area. Today, I plan on starting Rhineland and getting one quarter to half of it done. Looking at the addition of the Tudor Resturant. All of Tudor Square The chocolate house is finished!
  18. Tudor Square and Rhineland have NO rides! This area has only shops and resturants. The rides don't start until I get to Founder's Circle.
  19. UPDATE#3 Near Completion of Tudor Square The Tudor Grill is 95% completed ( I just forgot to add a part of the building now) and I might do a little more work on the entrance. I'm not going to space out the queue because of size issues. I haven't put the roof on the chocolate house yet and the restrooms building has been completed. I have even built the first building in Rhineland, it's the little information booth just inside the park. Tomorrow's agenda is to fix some of the buildings using some of those pictures, add more scenery, and then work on Rhineland. Now to the screens. The first building in Rhineland. Looking towards the exit. Looking across the bridge. Tudor Square. The park entrance. There still needs to be a section of the building to be constructed. Tudor Grill during construction.
  20. Yep. Brakes, chain lift, it's all planned to be working. I also want to point out some of the physics involved in the project. If the ride had no friction or gravity, the coaster (if built in real-life) could go 218MPH at the bottom of the first drop!! If at the bottom of the first drop, you want a maximum of 6g's, the radius would need to be 200'! The Immelmann would also need to be a maximum of 200' tall (that's if it was at the base of the first drop), this would mean that the immelmann would need to be around 100' or less then. A physics teacher helped me with these facts. This is amazing to think about. He also said that this layout is possible to do.
  21. I first wanted to use AutoCAD, but I changed to Inventor because it could give a great 3D image of the ride and it can also be imported to AutoCAD to create blueprint drawings. Doing this kills 2 birds with 1 stone.
  22. UPDATE #2 Construction of Tudor Square For the first day of construction, it was half decent. The bridge has been constructed, the new dunkin donuts shop has been finished, and almost everything up to the park entrance has been finished ( besides Tudor Grill). Here's a view of the entrance so far. This is where the entrance is going to be. If found some cool restroom signs! The dunkin donuts resturant. The entrance bridge.
  23. The roof is planned to be made of sheet metal and the supports are going to be square daul rods. They will be connected by screws to hold it into place.
  24. Inside that link, go to SteelWorx. It's a great set with custom supports and also catwalks.
  25. I've fixed it!!!! It appears that all I needed to do was put the .zip file in a different folder and extract it to the Themed folder. I've got all 3 Alpine Scenery packs and all 2 circus packs plus some rock speakers!
