I uninstalled and reinstalled the game to figure out which scenery and rides I needed. I copied the scenario file to a safer place and tried loading that, but I still got an error message. I am going to go through and install all my lists of scenery that I used and I'll put them in with the download like I said. That also includes a link to another rct site with the scenery.

After watching the new show on the science channel last night, I got the idea of creating this thread. So what do you think the future be like? Would we live on the Moon? What kind of technology will we have? etc. Think about it. In the future we could all be directly communicating to everyone inside the computer in sort of like a gigantic meeting! Cool huh. -Chris

Barbaro Dies Eight Months After Breakdown
Ccron10 replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Random, Random, Random
The reason why he died was that the leg got infected and he acted differently. Here's a little fact: The horse's owner went to the same school I am going to now. There hasn't been that much talk in school about Barbaro's death execpt in my Business class. R.I.P. Barbaro -Chris -
The Park is finished! Ever want to take charge of SFMM and change it to your liking? Now you can! I tried to make this park as realistic as possible as if you owned the park as of tomorrow! Some challenges you'll have to face are... 1.Just as in real life, the rides in the park frequently break down so now you have to fix them! 2.Try to keep those guests happy! 3.Just like now, all the coasters have 1 train operating. 4.Flashback and Psyclone have been closed. Also I'd like to point out at the park entrance, I built a ride closing board so that if you want to close or remodel an attraction, you can put up the name on the board to let your guests know. Lastly, I'd like to see what you do with your park so please feel free to post pictures of your creations on this thread! -Chris Here's the completed Riddler's Revenge.

Another reson is that Hersheypark is about 10 miles away and I you had to choose between those two, everyone would definently choose Hershey for their 10 coasters, 60 rides, new waterpark, and the factory versus William's 2 crappy coasters, just about 25 rides and nothing else! The place is a waste of space in my part. -Chris

BarryH wrote: Kraken has a sign that says no food or drink on the coaster. I don't know about you, but I don't see someone holding onto a burger and Coke for too long on a coaster. That kind reminds me of a pepsi commercial I saw where a guy held a soda through the whole ride. I think the coaster was the inverted one at a Sea World park.

Holy crap!! Just how many time did you get stung?!? By the way, ever have a 30 pound cat? Ever see one? Well below are 2 pics of mine. He is 10 yrs. old and his name is Mittens. And also, since I live near Lancaster County, here's my cat gone Amish! One 30lb. cat + one medium-sized halloween dog costume = tons of fun!

Coasters after childbirth
Ccron10 replied to Marko's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I confess that I openly talk about coasters in school. It's hard not to when you're doing a grad project on the subject and you need to tell teachers about the project and so on. I also confess that I don't have a girlfriend and the reason why is because of this. But doesn't it sound cooler if instead of being called a coaster enthusiest, an adrenaline junkie? -

Nice station. Also, I'd use a few more trees if I were you. You don't want to have your park resemble a barren wasteland with none or a few trees. -
Just to warn you ahead of time, the positions of some of the kiddie rides and a few flat rides are not exactly in the right place. Since I've never been to the park, I don't know where the are supposed to go. After reading constant threads and articles of what SFMM shuld do to the park, I came up with the brilliant idea of creating a re-creation of the park almost exactly of what is happening as of the beginning of January of 2007 (around this time, the announcement of Psyclone and Flashback's removal was not announced meaning you can do whatever you want with the coasters). I basically took the layout of the SFMM scenario on RCT2 and modified it so I could build Scream!, Batman The Ride, and Riddler's Revenge. I also built Tatsu into the park as well. So far, the only thing I need to finish is theming Riddler's and the area around it and I'm done, then I'll put it up for download. Now to the pics! -Chris Here's a view of Bugs Bunny World. With all these rides clumped together, you can see why some of the rides can't fit. Here's an overview of the park as of now. This is what I've done with Riddler's Revenge and Freefall so far. This is the best I can theme Batman The Ride. With a little modification of the hills behind the park, Gotham City Backlot was built. One of the newly added coasters added is Scream! When I look at this coaster, I think this has got to be the lowest Six Flags has gone; there's no theme to it! There's also been a few small changes like adding transfer tracks to some of the coasters. IT'S TATSU!!!!!!! Nothing really new in Revolution's plaza.....wait...... what's that on top of the picture?.... When you first look at the park entrance, you don't see a really big difference between the Scenario besides the 2 info kiosk's, the closed Flashback and there's no twist ride there.

The link's not working. What was the cause? A gas leak? Was anybody hurt?

Knoebels launches new site (..finally)
Ccron10 replied to Primogen18's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It said on the rides page that The Looper was refurbished, didn't they just get that 2 years ago and it was brand new? -
A couple weeks ago we had a 2.5 magnitude earthquake. Yes I know Pennsylvania is nowhere near any major fault lines, but millions of years ago the fault line that caused this quake was stronger. Now we have small quakes every 4 to 5 years the strongest being 4.5 back in 1994.

I think the one you're talking about is called "Scream Machines". I think it was the one where Elissa was hooked up to heart monitoring equipment and tested her heart rate while riding Goliath. I also know another one where she talked about Montu. Wasn't she the president of the Florida Coaster Club?

I haven't been just working on the logo all this time, I've also worked on the plans for the coaster. Yet I do have to agree that I have been slacking off on working on the drawing from doing RCT and other things. Below is my progress, the yellow line is the center line of the track and the dashed line around the coaster is the platform on which it will be sitting on. What you see is the top view. I've also started the side view which is not shown. -Chris- The coaster layout

Knoebels Discussion Thread
Ccron10 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I know which one your talking about, it's the one you pass when you go towards the park from Elysburg. I forgot the name though. -
I'd like to thank my dad for helping me with this. Over the last couple days I started brainstorming ideas for a logo for the coaster (ex. storm runner=the horse, mantis= praying mantis etc.) I thought up this split in half circle with one arrow going out each side design. When dealing with logos I need to keep in mind copyright so if anyone knows a logo like this that is copyrighted already, let me know. I also came up with a little "motto" to go with the coaster. "FEAR THE SPIN!" Please post your comments! -Chris The logo.

For the last 2 days I've been having problems with the zoo and I decided to solve the problem by doing this... 1. Removing the zoo (execpt for the new slig shot ride, observation tower and food court for now) and turning it into a water park. 2. Later, the zoo will be built at a different location along with the robotic coaster. 3. The safari train will be put into storage until the new zoo is built. The problem was because of the animals being hungry and with 2 zookeepers per a exhibit, there seemed to be a problem. -Chris
