That looks like a big layout for a k'nex roller coaster, are you sure you have enough pieces? -
CCron10's 2006 Theme Park TR's
Ccron10 replied to Ccron10's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In March I went with my dad to a woodworking show in Harrisburg and we went past the park. More off-season pics coming tomorrow! I love this shot. It's the famous Chocolate Factory. Storm Runner, Great Bear and SDL all in one shot while going 40mph down Chocolate Ave. ! Must be great to live in a town to see a coaster right from your house. Is that what I think I see? Yes! It is! Gondolas already on the Ferris Wheel! To bad the park wasn't open. -
Since I have some time on my hands I think I'll put up some of my TR's. First up is Hersheypark's Christmas Candylane. Although it was in December 2005, I didn't post it until now. Herheypark during the off-season coming soon! More Storm Runner! I tried to get a good shot of the train. I wish I could ride that now. Look! Cloaking devices! They've finally came to Hershey! then it was. Can you say extreme air time!?! Somehow the Kissing Tower was running faster than usuall because first it wasn't there... Storm Runner in the snow! I wish I had one for my living room! Apperently this train was used from the 70's to 1995. As you can see I look very thrilled. Wildcat in the Snow!

Over the weekend I got a big chunck of the park done. Sandy Gulch City has been completed and I just started on Northern Frontier and Eire Shore. Here are some screens. In a little hilly corner I built Pocono River Rapids and the Treetop Flyer family coaster. That turned out great. So far so good. Canyon blazer needed a water ride to interact with it. The Water Spirit water slide built for that reason. Also the Scavenger flying coaster was built for the same reason. Gunslinger is just a Six Flags Deja'vu clone themed to the wild west. Canyon Blazer is a cool coaster built entirly in the middle of canyons. The Keystone Express goes through the middle.

Good thing it didn't wonder into a Cabela's!

Wow! How tall is it from the base to the top of the track? I wish I could do that.

Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread

I just saw this. The exit for the tornado funnel is really close to the ECWW(East Coast Water Works). This area is going to be very cramped. Could be that or the camera angle makes it only seem that. -
Good find!

Best Theme Park Chain

Cedar Fair because after visiting Dorney I found the park being clean, friendly and keeping a family atmosphere, not like Six Flags where they mostly add white-knuckle thrill rides and coasters and rarely kiddie rides and family attractions. Just my $0.02. -

Here are some new screens of Chocolatetown. Like it promised, there's the chocolate themed coaster called MILTON HERSHEY'S DREAM. Next to it is the PRETZEL dark ride. Going from right to left: KEYSTONE EXPRESS Chocolatetown station. SKY RIDE the Rhinetown station. Middle: LOST RIVER with the old windmill. Bottom: The LITTLE COMET kiddie coaster. and also the TWIN FERRIS WHEELS. I filled in some empty space with a ne LIM Launched coaster called COLONIAL TWISTER Chocolatetown is now finished! This is what it looks like. Hmm. What would this coaster be called?

THIS JUST IN! I you noticed on the map there were 2 blank spaces next to the TIOGA FOREST area. I am proud to announce that one of the areas will have nothing to do with Pennsylvania. That area wil be called THEME PARK REVIEW WORLD. It will feature TPR member favorites and best of all, extreme coasters! The next area I will keep in the dark until I start buliding it and I will give hints and rumors while doing so. Below is an updated map. The NEW map.

It's approved. I told my grad. project teacher what I wanted to do and he said that it fits into the guidelines and that I can build the model BUT it has to be very detailed. Also going off topic a little, the 2 is for where we rank in the AAAA division but from what I heard we are 6th in the state.
