  1. Speaking of brakes, I just thought up a way for a transfer track for the coaster. Maybe right before the transfer track I can have the track flex over to the other track so the storage track doesn't have to move. This may sound confusing but I hope to draw something up to show what I mean.
  2. I'm not going to name it, you guys are! Sometime after thanksgiving on this topic. I'll pick 6 names from that last post by me and the name with the highest number of votes by new years day will be the coaster's name. I'm still looking for more names! Keep them coming! -Chris-
  3. My philosophy is that if you want your kid to go on a ride and he/she shows some fear don't and I repeat DON'T get him on the ride because there are a number of things he/she might do. 1. He/she would try to get off the ride while it is in motion and injure themself of someone else. 2. The experience will scare them so badly that he/she would never want to go to a park again. Although this can be rare, the kid might like it.
  4. Congratulations! I'm taking a bet that it will be really hard for you not to ride any coasters. -Chris-
  5. Also! Does anyone have any questions or comments? I would like to here them. -Chris-
  6. Sorry, I can't get larger ones up. I tried Pixresizer and they come out unclear and when I try to put the screenshots from the game's folder the KB is to big. Can somebody help me with this?
  7. I can try. I see that it doesn't look very realistic, but that wasn't my real goal, I just wanted to build a small park that has as many rides as a large park. My next park is called COASTER CORP'S WASHINGTON PEAKS where I will try to make extremely detailed to look like a real park but this time I will have more space. The reason why it took me a couple months to create a good park was my habit of just spreading out. This time I hope to put my 7 years of playing the RCT games to the test and do a wonderful job. Wish me luck. -Chris-
  8. I see you used plastruct on your track model. It looks pretty good, but I recommend adding some paint to the track. Over the weekend I've drawn up the stations, the jojo roll and all the way up to the base of the lift. If you can see in the draw up, the lift is going diagonally right meaning that with graph papar being....well... a grid, I had a tough time copying that. Eventually after time it got easier. The lift will sort of look like the lift on Maverick execpt it won't be LIM powered. I still have to do the side view of the station, the jojo roll, and the start on the lift. Whenever I think about a great project I get creative. Here's some pics. -Chris- The operating booths and queue lines for each row are even included which is another bonus! That black line along side the queues is the length of the cars. The station! It will be 15 3/4in. long. The right is the loading station and the left is the unloading station. It's drawings like this that makes me keep on going nonstop! I extended the catwalk around the U turn for that brake section before the lift. Like I said, the lift was kind of at a 20 degree right angle and it was hard. I sort of made th spine stay straight through the jojo roll, can that be okay?
  9. After going back in August, the waiting time was very small like Hydra was 2 minutes, Steel Force was 5 minutes ( when they recently opened it after it was closed), Thunderhawk 1 to 2 minutes ( 10 in the evening), and Talon was 5 mins. for the front. Everywhere else on these coasters were walk-ons.
  10. This week I'll be going camping so I should get a LOT of work done on this so, see ya' next week. Also, so far there are 20 names that could be the name of the coaster. You can still submit a name and have it be the name of the coaster so check out the "Name the Coaster I'm Going to Create" thread. Deadline for new names is November 30, 2006 and voting will end December 31, 2006 and the ride name will be announced on January 1, 2007 New Year's Day! -Chris-

  12. I just came up with some names on the top of my head that would sound cool. How about if I had 6 favorite names picked 1 of them being mine, and the rest will be everybody else. Also since naming is kind of a little slow we bump up the final ride naming upto November 30 and the voting to be in by New Years Eve. Okay with everybody?
  13. So far mine's it's Hydra: the Revenge.
  14. Here are some whacky pictures of my cat. Enjoy. I think he had on too many. Fun with paper towels. 1 dog halloween costume + 1 fat cat = TONS of fun! As you can see, at 30lbs. he's a real heavyweight.
  15. Where did you get those paths? Did you download them because they'd look good in my parks. Thanks -Chris-
  16. Does anybody have pics of what a ball coaster looks like? I checked the site this afternoon and that coaster wasn't there.
  17. I might as well put mine in Spitfire Wildfire Kamikaze Still looking for more names! Keep them coming!
  18. Looks like you're constructing the coaster like the real ones are. Keep up the good work.
  19. Also: The reason why I posted this on the Random section is because it has hardly anything to do with coasters and theme parks.
  20. Today I traveled with my school (not all of the school) upto the UN building in New York City. After leaving Governor Mifflin at 8:00 we took a couple back roads to I-78. Going past Dorney, I took a few quick pics. A few hours and a couple of traffic jams later we entered the Linclon Tunnel which had to be at least 2 to 3 miles long. Upon exiting the tunnel we traveled for about an half an hour or about 5 blocks to the building. Inside we took a boring tour and saw some of the members in action and left for lunch. After eating a sandwich that took only 1 minute to create and almost no place to sit down, we headed down the street to talk about something else UN related. By this time I was wishing that we could head across town to the Coney Island Cyclone. Then from 45th street we headed to the World Trade Center site and spent a 4 hour, traffic jam filled ride home. At one point we traveled the farming roads of northeastern Berks putting our tour bus to the max. We arrived home at 7:00 PM. -Chris "I am sorry that my story is terrible" C. There is only one thing left to do before we go. Tunnel Credit!!!!!!! We are now entering the Ground Zero area so the next few pics will have no wording at all. This is the main building, but we didn't go into that part. I wonder if that's the same shere from the World Trade Center plaza? Kind of looks like the worlds most painful chair in the world. There are 192 flags in alphebetical order in from of the UN. Everest! Another cool effect. Sweet tunnel effect! Tunnel Credit!!!!!! If you're wondering what I look like here's me. Steel Force. There's Dorney but where not stopping.
  21. That fair has more rides than the Bloomsburg Fair!!!! They also had those world's smallest pony stands too, but at 2 different places! Somehow there should be only 1 smallest pony instead of 2.
  22. I think I remember seeing it on a video called Great Old Amusement Parks. Looked pretty cool, it's too bad to see it go.
  23. I taking a bet that you must hurry like heck to unload 1 car then hurry to fill up the other car while watching for another car to come in and try not have it crash into the second car. Did it have like a storage track on it like the one at CP? If anybody has some great pics of the ride, I am interested to see them. -Chris-
  24. Thank you. That is very helpful. I hope to my park done as soon as I can.
  25. Really Good. I'm designing my first one now too. But don't expect me done anytime soon.
