Well, I haven't actually taken the time to do a complete look around the park. Lately the park's operations have been bad but not terrible. Tatsu has been running fairly well over the last few weekends, also Circus Wheel has been operating at a steady rate, free fall still goes off and on and appears to be open half the time. Orient Express also seems to be open a lot however, there always seems to be at least four ride ops just standing around in the lower station. Now I'm not one to really judge because I know nothing of OE's operaitons, but there just always seems to be more ride ops there than nessesary. Giving them the benefit of the doubt perhaps its training...but...eh. Sky Tower's elevator has been going up and down latley, although I can't confirm if the tower is actually open or not. So yeah, operations have slightly improved...but they still aren't too good. _six

The actual process of replacing the parts takes about 30 days. So I wouldn't expect to see anything happening over there until December...at the earliest. _six

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I heard that it was because if you turn the train around, the brakes wouldn't function becuase of the grab bar...or whatever you call it being on the wrong side. _six

At the moment Deja vu has been running almost daily. Psyclone is off and on it seems. But who knows how they'll be around Dec 20-31. _six

What are you going to be for Halloween
Mr.Six replied to WillCouture's topic in Random, Random, Random
I have to work on Halloween. That's alright though, some friends and I went to a party on Saturday so I'm going to count that as my 'Halloween'. _Six -

Just thought I should post. Canyon Blaster is now out of rehab after about a month or so with a brand new train. I had the great and amazing honor of working it already. The train seems lighter than the old one, but its almost silent , the lapbars and seatbelts work great. Some work was done on the brake in the station. Also missing pieces of the fences that go around the walkways of the ride have been replaced. Just thought I should add in a positive note. _Six Here's a really crappy shot of the new train. Yeah...some paint job.

Hey, alright so today I met up with Mark and Tommy from the boards along with some of their friends. It was a so-so visit in my opinion. There were a ton of rides closed, but the ones that were open had great dispatches. Plus a few 'good' surprises throughout the day added some points to it. Colossus almost raced, going up the lift the trains were about 20 feet or so apart. So, without further mindless blabbering, onto the pics. Enjoy. _Six And I leave you with a somewhat decent shot of the 'sorta' open Freefall. Thanks for reading! We got to see Freefall testing. Jet Stream was closed....yeah...awesome caption I know. Spinout is another one of those rides that has been down for a good continous amount of time. I've been hearing that the carpenters have been working off and on lately on Psyclone. It was closed today, with no signs of anyone working on it. Some random work being done in the park is always a good sign. People keep asking me, "Where's the Craft making area for the kid." I never had any idea, well I found it today. It actually looked pretty cool. Nice 'family' spin on Fright Fest halloween stuff. Sierra Twist is another one I haven't seen open in quite a while. All the other rides in Pirate's Cove have been fully open. Not sure what's up with Sierra Falls. Can't remember the last time I saw that open...that's Bunny World North for ya. Canyon Blaster has been down for close to a month now. Its actually going through an actual refurbishment. But for now, its appears to of been turned into a meet and greet area. Daffy's Tour Bus was also down. They really need to get people over to Bunny World. Pepe Le Pew was also down. Too hot to operate...*cough*build a tent*cough* The weather balloons are sad because there's no stupid fat guy there to open it....yet. Same with Scream. Pretty decent dispatches; still the line is out the door. My point exactly. Riddler had a two train op, about one train every 3-4 minutes; even so the line was all the way back to Scrambler. Ouch! Yeah, so first thing I see when I enter the park is this huge line for the Flashpasses. But after seeing the line for some rides, its clear that these were the smart people!

Running one train...
Mr.Six replied to jamessanders's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
At Magic , we usually do add on another train (if there already isn't two) if it seems to be getting crowded. But in order to add a train, you need to call a supervisor and that supervisor must be present while adding a train. Mechanics are there also, they're the ones that do the actual 'adding' of the train. Come to think of it, most of the coasters at Magic are running two trains. Shocking. _six -
Awesome pics! I was however expecting more gruesome ones, but these will do. _six
