  1. I'm officially psyched! *MONDIAL TOP SCAN *Magnum, another unique mondial ride Looks like lots of great flat rides and a couple new credits! Thanks for the link to the photos.
  2. That kind of money is NOTHING to NASA, just kidding of course...
  3. Thanks, I hope to get more work done tomorrow and show off my Dive Machine.
  4. Hi there, It turns out there will be a summer trip for me after all. Me and a few friends from work are heading out to see a twins game, hit Valleyfair, Cedar Point and the MN State Fair. I was told this fair is HUGE and has a great midway but that's about all I know... What show covers this fair and what kind of spectacular rides/coasters can I expect? Does the fair have any decent dark rides? Any help would be appreciated, and pictures woul dbe even better! Thanks.
  5. Looks like I'll be riding Maverick afterall this summer, I was bummed I'm missing the midwest trip but me and some friends are gonna have a road trip out to Minnesota including a stop for Renegade and Maverick, I got lucky here... Can't wait to try it for myself!
  6. That is one twisted puppy! Thanks for the pic!
  7. Thank you for your comments! There are plenty of other ideas to come, the park isn't even half done yet but I plan on finishing it before the 4th of July. Right now I'm working on squeezing the Dive Machine VOODOO into the Lost Ruins without disturbing the landscape, kind of a pain actually. More updates soon!
  8. Lots of nice little details and some great work on the station. Are you going to add some trees? That would make it look even better.
  9. Nice! Looks very much like a realistic, larger model of a booster bike, I love the choice in colors.
  10. Great to see the reviews start to come in, I look forward to seeing lots of great photos this week from those of you who were lucky to ride. I just checked out the video and damnnnn that lift/launch is quicker than I thought, the first drop must be taken with a decent amount of speed, moreseo than the concept videos show!
  11. I especially like the impulse coaster, looking good so far, keep it up!
  12. Wow, if only they really made rocket coasters like this. I love the layout.
  13. Wow! Absolutely stunning, definately th enicest looking flat ride I've ever seen.
  14. 5/28/2007 * Work continues on the Lost Ruins themed section of the park. The area currenty has one quarter of its total rides including the shoot-the-chutes LOST RIVER PLUNGE and the B&M Inverted Coaster: Venom. * This area will also feature several flat rides, a B&M Dive machine and possibly an indoor coaster, space permitting. Check out the screenshots below! Lost Ruins is only half done but I think its coming laong pretty good, thank you for checking out the update! Through the foggy snake pit. Venom's cobra roll at night. Venom's back-to-back flatspins spiral over Lost River Plunge. Venom's signature cobra roll is taken quickly after a dark tunnel. A giant vertical loop through a snake pit follows the first drop. After a short curving drop, riders take a hilltop barrel roll before gliding up over the waterfall to face the 160' main drop. Being a bit of a terrain coaster, the lift hugs the mountain and offers a great view of Aracdia Beach! Back out into daylight, riders will be snapped at by two venomous snakes that leap from the trees. The ride begins by dipping out of the station and through a helix before entering the pre-lift show building. In the show building, we realize we have stumbled upon a very agresive species of snake's nesting grounds as the area is scattered with eggs... The entry to Venom, the station is themed to a reptile research facility, and in classic theme park style, something goes terribly wrong... The yet-to-be-finished entry gate to Lost Ruins takes visitors over a brudge and through Venom's cobra roll. Splooooooshhh! Lost River Plunge intertwines closely with Venom and makes for some interesting visuals! An overview of Lost Ruins in the northeast corner of Arcadia Point theme park.
  15. I'm pretty sure when Sheikra opened they said they had the rights to "diving coasters" in general.
  16. I'm just happy to hear dive machines are coming back around and being installed at more parks. I have a feeling it will be an Oblivion clone as well.
  17. Thanks once again for more great photos, I love this ride's theming.
  18. Wow Robb! I'm diggin' that POV photo of the first drop!
  19. Ccron, if you've ever been to the area (I have!) you'd realize that it thrives on the alien phenomenon. While I'm sure a lot of people don't take them seriously, there's alot of touristy stuff already involving aliens from restaurants to gift shops, I'm sure the park wouldn't hurt the locals' feelings much. Fastest indoor coaster you say? You have my attention!
  20. At least everyone will be ok... I love Magnum a lot for some reason, I think it's because it was my first "big" coaster. It's too bad it's been showing its age recently.
  21. I noticed that too... but I also realize that there aren't many other colors that particular ride would look good on considering the many natural colored surroundings. Dunno... it just works...
  22. ^^ Thanks for the video, doesn't look it like it spins all that much but looks like a lot of fun!
  23. ^ Thanks, I pretty much put Venom all together tonight and didn't like it so I'm redoing it to be more of a ground-hugging terrain coaster. The flat spins, station and brakes will remain as you see them but all the work I did tonight was pretty much a waste as it just came out looking... wrong from what I had pictured. I might just go ahead amd build Voodoo first until I can think of how to finish Venom.
  24. How have the queue times been? Does the line move along pretty quickly?
