  1. Great TR Jahan, I've been waiting for a TR to see just how insane the lines would be for Nemo, on that westcoaster update it reports the lines got up to nearly 6 hours... holy sh*t!
  2. ^ Yep, there's not much RCT3 has to offer as far as urban chaos scenery goes, so pretty much any attempt at such an idea will result in a Batman queue looking ride.
  3. Wow, this park has some nicely themed Huss rides, too bad the frisbee was closed though.
  4. If Wild Thing is anything like Steel Force than it's a pretty damn good ride, sure it's not an Intamin megacoaster but it looks like a lot of fun. I'll be able to say for myself when I go the last week of August.
  5. Hey... it's a credit!
  6. Sounds interesting, let's hope it comes to fruition!
  7. Yep, I remember 2 Face being "stuck upside down"! I believe this IS in fact, only the second time a coaster has been stalled upside down like this.
  8. 6/10/07 TERMINAL VELOCITY is complete! POWERHOUSE Huss Jump2 added to Electri City The brake run and transfer track. Thank you for checking out the update! The metro trains plunge into the collapsing Public Works building, there is a pretty impressive show scene in here accompanying the high banked turn. And the second... The first camelback hill... Terminal Velocity rockets up the tower and into the upside down tophat, plenty of hangtime here! The metro is the only way out of this city in Chaos. TERMINAL VELOCITY starts with an 80 mph launch! Electri City's rapid transit system began malfunctioning the day the freak thunderstorms hit. Terminal Velocity is finished. After receiving 3 B&M coasters, Arcadia Point finally installed an electromagnetically launched Intamin coaster! Powerhouse really stands out at night! Powerhouse, a Huss Jump2 is themed to an electronic generator gone berserk, just like all of the other strange machines in this city. A night shot of the front of EC Looks like some new things have sprung up in Electri City...
  9. ^^^ That's enough to send someone to the hospital so I would have to pass on hanging upside down that long. I agree that these rides look pretty lame, even Dragster and Ka are better one-trick ponies.
  10. If you go on a weekday in the morning before schools in the area get out you can get on PLENTY of rides without waiting in terribly long lines. The only rides I've ever waited more than a half hour for at any given time were Millennium Force and Dragster, and from the sound of things, Maverick's line moves WAY faster than either of these coasters in their debut years. You shouldn't let that be the reason you don't see this great park!
  11. That's the first photo I've ever seen of Wicked running, could you perhaps point out or post some more photos of the ride in action?
  12. I'm surprised there's not some kind of manual release to let the train go from the upside down position in the event this happens, I hate rides that keep me upside down for a sustained period of time, (ie some skymaster/kamikaze/ring of fire rides) This would be an absolute nightmare for me.
  13. I'm surprised the FBI wasn't there waiting for you with guns drawn. I do agree, anarchy starships are the very best, even if you don't like the ride it's always a comedy show!
  14. A squirrel themed coaster? Have you had your heart attack today, Elissa? Oh,, and also YAY for manual powered rides!
  15. Oooo, it's actually a bit longer than I thought it it would be! Thanks for providing an onride video.
  16. I never expected that theming to show up in the first place so I can't say I'm dissapointed.
  17. ^ It was themed to Carnage from Spiderman, yes. The project has since been cancelled. I'm thinking about making a new realization of the Universal RCT3 park idea once Arcadia Point is done, so no worries.
  18. The logos are made in adobe photoshop, I take a background that fits the situation, add text and textures until it looks appropriate for the ride it will represent.
  19. Thanks for the comments, I hope to get Terminal Velocity done by next week so I can start work on some of the park's many dark rides.
  20. I added just a little bit more detail to Lost Ruins as you can see where Venom exits the cobra roll, as well as added a topple tower called "Tippin' Toucan". Work has begun on Electri City's TERMINAL VELOCITY Intamin Accelerator, and I've started to plan out the next area after Electri City, which will be Ghost Town. There are still many rides yet to be put into EC... A teaser shot... Electri City's rapid transit system has been overpowered by a surge of electricity, the only way out is up on... An aerial shot of the completed LOST RUINS The entry gate to GHOST TOWN will have guests walk under Zenith's structure to the "haunted" mountains on the other side of the park. In May, "Project Z" in ELECTRI CITY was officially named Zenith. (EC Zenith? Hmmm...)
  21. 6-6-07 Another update for you, featuring the newly added VOODOO B&M Diving Machine and the completion of the Lost Ruins area! Next area for work is Electri City to bring the completed themed lands count up to 3. Get ready to see some Intamin stuff added to Arcadia Point real soon with the release of Terminal Velocity... After an airtime hill which duels Venom's final flat spin, Voodoo dives into a tunnel and hits the brakes. Here's the entry to Voodoo's underground station and some theming. Thank you for checking out the screenshots, next update coming next week! Voodoo's overbanked fan turn threads Venom's vertical loop. The two coasters interact at 3 points. Venom now has some company on the mountaintop! Check out Voodoo... Additional theming has been added to Lost Ruins including this close call with a booby trapped temple for Venom! The Huss Top Spin Raindance is situated alongside Lost River Plunge. A Huss Condor was added named Golden Phoenix.
  22. Furius Baco looks fantastic. Sure it's short but what a unique experience! That heartline roll must be intense riding off the sides of the train like that. I can't wait to see what Intamin does with this concept in the future.
  23. Nice TR! It was fun to see the inside of the Haunted House for once!
  24. I too enjoy the peoplewatching aspect of visiting theme parks but there is a gneral rule of thumb... Disney theme parks with happy customers = good, inner city parks like Six Flags = not so fun. As a matter of fact, it isn't a visit to a Six Flags park without me getting into a fight with a linecutter, like yesterday at Papa John's at SFNE for example... actually let's not go there.
  25. I doubt very much that they will change the name or the theming of Dueling Dragons but rather incorporate them into the Harry Potter world with minor tweaks and adjustments to the "story" of the ride. There's a pretty good theory on Screamscape of what could happen, I hope they don't redo the whole thing to be something else...
