dragsterfan420 replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^All right. Thanks. He also failed to mention how far of a drive it is from your guys area to the park. I'd like to know to see if I can plan a trip to IB when I go up their this summer. -

JZ's Indiana Beach Photo TR!
dragsterfan420 replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Check www.indianabeach.com for the details on tickets... But meals were about 5-7 bucks, drinks were 2.50 medium, 3.00 large. Snacks ranged from 1.50-4 bucks Thanks. -
All I can say is, "Ditto." Ju-on, The Grudge, and the Ring are the only scary movies that give me chills anymore. Everything else is just funny/cool to me.

This is without a doubt the best commercial I have seen in a LONG time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW-jo7oTkrc

I just watched the first Terminator this morning for the first time in a while. Has anyone else noticed that Bill Paxton is one of the "punks" the Governator gets the clothes fro in the beginning?

Is Soak City worth it?
dragsterfan420 replied to DBru's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Out of all the times I've been to Cedar Point, I've only been to Soak City twice. It's pretty good water park. The wave pool is kinda small (still better than Boomerang Bay at KI). The family raft ride is pretty good. I rode that slide the most. They do have a lazy river if you just want to relax. They also have a fast moving lazy river type thing that is more like rapids which was actually pretty cool. I would say one day leave the Point and go to Soak City for 3 or 4 hours, then go back into the park. I did that once it made the day even more enjoyable than it already was. -

The speed of the train looks fine. Especially because of the brakes. I was actually going to comment him on putting the brakes before the lift. It makes it more realistic and many people don't pay attention to that. -

This looks like a pretty sweet park. Hey JZ, I got some questions. How were prices for things and how long of a drive was it for you from where you live? -

Cool. I wonder what it will be? Those are B&M supports; or at least they look to be. Interesting. -

I'm glad you had a good time at Boomers and on the DBH. I love that ride. Haven't been on it in a while now but I remember the crazy airtime it has; especially in the back row. Did you do anything else at Boomers? Like the Go Karts? The track there is amazingly fun! -
New Roller Coaster Concept
dragsterfan420 replied to Rick_Irvin's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This concept looks pretty amazing. The mechanisms within the car that allow the riders to randomly fall on the lift could be a problem if not designed correctly. Also, like most people have said, those G forces on the loops might be outrageous. Other than that, it's amazing. -

I guess you saw the similarity with the "unnamed coaster design company" that this ride looks to be built by. Anyways, its a intriguing design and I look forward to the finished product. -

The coaster looks nice. I love when their is a substantial pre-lift. It makes the ride that much better. -
