  1. ^ I think Skyhawk is a lame ride, to be honest. It needs to have a full cycle, and until then, I don't like it. I'd like to try one of the four seaters or whatever, but the medium sized ones like the one at Kennywood are terrible.. No airtime and a crappy cycle.. Lovely.
  2. ^ Yeah, see, I didn't even know it had like, any airtime, period . So it caught me off guard pretty good. Do you still live here? And if so, where-ish?
  3. Well, I have to say, you definitely have a knack for this game, some things a bit more than others, such as the architecture and the coaster layouts! The landscaping in some spots isn't really how I would do it, and I don't like certain areas where you put the entrace/exits that RCT2 gives you (I'd cover them up), but overall you're doing great and it's very promising. As for the rapids? Looks pretty cool, but I'd have to see the entire thing before I could make a decision.
  4. WOW I love the colour of that Boomerang coaster! It is soo me . I'm gonna have to go with The Great Nor'Easter and Orochi or anything else that is all one colour (you can argue that Orochi is pink, but to me it almost just looks all white). I mean I'm sure there are a few exceptions, but in general, coasters that are just a single colour are uggggly.
  5. I know this is a little bit old but I have to bring it back a bit because, movies <3 Top three: Jim Henson's Labyrinth Wizard of Oz The Green Mile Honourable mentions: Sweeney Todd Rainman Dead Man Walking Misery Willy Wonka Pan's Labyrinth American Beauty Home Alone 1 + 2 Blair Witch Project I honestly own so many movies it's not even funny
  6. Kingda Ka, Dominator, El Toro, Phantom's Revenge, Behemoth, Troy, Prowler, and Goliath (even though it's terribly overused now). There are tons more that I am probably forgetting, though. Anything with "hawk" in it is automatic lose now though, it is getting so overused.
  7. Toro, Ravine Flyer, and Voyage. All of these have awesome airtime, obviously.
  8. ^ Everyone hates on multi-loopers though, so again, I don't see how they're overrated when I have heard almost nothing but bad about them. I still don't think they're as bad as people say though, and I'm short, so technically I should be getting the worst of the headbanging.
  9. I like almost anything bright.. Ye olde Xflight comes to mind, back at Geauga Lake. Come to think of it, I liked Thunderhawk's old colour scheme as well; the new one it has at Michigan's Adventure is not nearly as nice. Nitro and Behemoth are two I really like, as is Medusa/Bizarro (whatever).
  10. Although they are both good, Intamin seems to have come up with more above average rides than B&M has. B&M has come out with some fantastic coasters lately, like Diamondback and Behemoth, but really when it comes down to it, Intamin does have more variety, an in general, Intamin coasters rank higher in my count. A lot of B&M coasters focus solely on inversions which is probably part of the reason I am not choosing them, though Batman: the Ride and Dominator are two exceptions because I found them to be above average coasters.. The rest I have been on are just average, besides the Hypers. So, Intamin. More variety and to me, they produce better coasters.
  11. I've only been on Mantis and Iron Wolf as far as B&M Standups go, and I prefer Mantis, though they both were nothing fantastic. Iron Wolf was better than I thought it would be though. And to think, back when my coaster count was like, thirty, Mantis was in my top three. That's laughable.
  12. My favourite flat is hands down, MaXair, followed by Shockwave at Wonderland. If drop tower count, MaXair is still my favourite, but Drop Tower at Kings Island and XScream at Waldameer are pretty great too.
  13. ^ Yeah, but I think people are finally recognizing that it's really not the greatest coaster in the world. It has a fantastic first drop, but really all it has besides that is one good overbanked turn and good speed. Not a top ten coaster for me. Top twenty? Sure.
  14. ^ I think it'll work.. It's a pretty picture . Anyway here is some of me.. Some of you probably already know what I look like from my massive amounts of photos on CoasterForce haha. Okidokes that's enough me
  15. ^ Haha, oh yes, Windsor is great is it not? Sarcasm by the way. Are you from here as well? Yeah, I thought Jack Rabbit looked retarded from the queue, and I had never seen a POV of it or anything so I didn't know at all what to expect. My friend told me about the double down but I didn't think anything of it, then I was like HOLY SHIT after we had gone through it. I mean there were little kids riding it so I thought it was like a kiddie coaster almost.. I'm surprised little kids don't fly outta that thing.
  16. I just thought it was so different, and seeing the forest area with the mist cresting the first hill was just awesome.. I dunno, like you said, to each his own.
  17. ^ The park will be fairly big, I just haven't planned out exactly where everything is gonna go yet (actually the whole thing had no preplanning, I just go and do whatever). But I'm doing houses and residential areas around there as well so I'll be putting those in eventually too.
  18. Oh God, Raven was such a whack coaster! I was expecting so much from it, and in the end, I rode it once and had no desire to go back on. Legend was rough, but at least it had a decent layout. Couldn't disagree with you more about Voyage though . Jer I loved your story by the way, hahaa. I'd be PISSED if a guy did that to me .
  19. Well, I've only been on two GCI's, which would be Evel and Rumbler.. And I thought Evel had way better airtime than Rumbler, but still, like I said, it does have airtime but it's not airtime that made me go holyy crap I'm flying out of my seat. Another good coaster for airtime is Shivering Timbers, but only on the trip out if you're in the front seat. Sit anywhere else and you won't get airtime, and the return run has very little of anything.
  20. Entire top ten 1. El Toro 2. Voyage 3. Maverick 4. Ravine Flyer II 5. Dragster 6. Kingda Ka 7. Diamondback 8. Behemoth 9. Beast 10. B:tR Steel 1. Maverick 2. Dragster 3. Ka 4. Diamondback 5. Behemoth 6. B:tR 7. Nitro 8. Millennium Force 9. Steel Phantom 10. Mr Freeze or Dominator.. I forget where they officially rank Wood 1. El Toro 2. Voyage 3. Ravine Flyer II 4. Beast 5. Evel Knievel 6. Shivering Timbers 7. Jack Rabbit (in the back, purely for the double down) 8. Kentucky Rumbler 9. Raven 10. Viper These are just kinda rough-ish guesstimates since I'm not looking at my "official" list.. But they're fairly accurate I think.
  21. I've actually heard bad things about Steel Force so I dunno how it could be overrated. I'd have to disagree with this. I didn't expect anything when I rode it the first time (which was during the day), but I thought it was an awesome coaster. The night ride is what gave it a spot in my top ten. Did you ride it at night?
  22. ^ Ah well, you tried it out and got your credit, no point in riding it again really. It's not fantastic anyway, I just didn't think it was really rough, especially considering the fact that, you know, Son of Beast is in the same park .
  23. Umm, well I dunno if you can really consider it small, but Kennywood is smaller than a lot of parks that I have been to, and I absolutely loved it. Holiday World was fantastic as well, and is definitely a park I want to go back to. Waldameer was okay but it really wasn't anything fantastic, besides Ravine Flyer II and XScream of course <3
  24. RAGING BULL?! RAGING BULL?! You really can't be serious! It has like, two good pops of ejector in the back seat, and that's it.. When I sat in the front my butt honestly did not leave the seat once. Evel Knievel has some decent airtime but to me it wasn't really strong enough to be anything to write home about.. It was a great coaster though.
  25. ^ Really? I didn't think Vortex was bad at all. In fact, every multi-looper I have been on has been fairly smooth, whether it be GASM, Vortex, Ninja, etc.. None of them have actually made me feel like I was being thrown around too terribly. GASM was probably the worst of them but it's still not something I'd consider to be very rough. A tip for when you're riding, force your head against one restraint that way you don't get any headbanging. I do this for everything with OTSR's that inverts because of the amount of earrings I have, and surprisingly it minimalizes headbanging very well.
