Using that logic, don't ever get in a car again! Have you seen how many people die in cars EVERY SINGLE DAY?!?!?! They aren't safe!!!! I always use the car argument when people try and tell me that rides are unsafe. It's very irritating. Keep in mind, joco07, the only reason why we are hearing about this news is BECAUSE it rarely happens. After the Costa Concordia accident, people were all up in arms saying they will never go on a cruise again. WHY?! Accidents are so rare, hence why it was big news!!! I also hear people say that airplanes aren't safe. Again, the only reason why we hear about plane crashes and what not is because they just don't happen that often, so when they do, IT IS NEWS.

They've actually got a lot more now! The screamin' swing was taken out and replaced with an S&S one! They also have bungee jumping.

So I graduated from high school last May, but I still check-in from time to time. I'm definitely really happy to say that a few weeks ago, my old high school celebrated homecoming. One of my friends, an out lesbian, won homecoming queen. The homecoming king, while straight, is a very open supporter of gay rights. Yeah, I'm totally in a great mood right now! And I come from Kansas!

On the thrill rides page on the website, I don't understand how Mamba, Patriot, Timber Wolf, Boomerang and Spinning Dragons receive a thrill rating of 5... But Prowler is a 4? Seriously, SD is more thrilling than Prowler?!

I'm just waiting for either a Euro-Fighter in The Flying Coasters place, or a mega coaster, using that same space as a station or something and having the coaster go over the parking lot, around the park, etc. It would work...

^It depends on where you're at in the country. I grew up in Kansas so I'm used to religion being shoved down my throat. There are religious people everywhere in the country, but the most conservative areas are the southern states.

You're right that it's just too late for anything sizeable :/ Everyone keeps saying it's a waterpark, but that just seems silly. WWB is in OKC already. Since there's no construction going on yet and I'm assuming the attraction would open in the spring, it's probably not going to be a pretty big place. It's also pretty late to have a 2012 attraction announcement. If it was a major addition, we would have known already, most likely.

^That's not what I mean. When I go to the scenario editor, the objects are NOT there, even though I have put them in the Objdata folder. Sorry for not specifying that. Haha.

I have downloaded a lot of custom scenery and rides, but no matter what I do, copy and paste or extract them to the Objdata folder, they DO NOT show up in the game! The only way I can get them there is if I download someone's scenario that has those objects/rides, so it will be installed into the game when I load the scenario. Any ideas what's wrong? I have Windows Vista if that makes a difference.

Honestly, I think Worlds of Fun needs something like a launched coaster. They have a great variety so far. Amazing woodie (Prowler), Patriot, which is my favorite invert, and Mamba. I think a Maverick-like coaster would be excellent for them! I don't EVER see them having a record breaking coaster, but big things can come in small packages, right? I also think a Screamin Swing would be nice to see! But I'm all for Worlds of Fun making little improvements in the park here and there if it benefits them. EDIT: jzoole, I was typing this post saying they need a launched coaster and while I was doing that, you posted before me saying the same thing. Maybe they really SHOULD get a launched coaster... Lol.

This is my second rant on ONE page! Yay! Here goes: People, especially college kids, who abuse ADHD drugs. I use to take Adderall because I needed it. It was prescribed to me because I do have ADHD. Adderall was the BEST medication I had ever had for ADHD. It helped me focus, not be so hyper, and was just all-around perfect for me. Great fit. But then I go to pick up a refill of it because I was almost out. The clerk gives me my total, $100. WHAT?! I asked her why it had spiked so much. It used to be only $4. She told me that because in Wichita (where I lived at the time) there was a spike in ADHD medication abuse. Because of this, my insurance refused to pay for it. I couldn't afford it, so we switched to a new medication. It doesn't work as well as Adderall did. It's alright, I just know it could be better. All these people ruined it for people, like me, who actually NEEDED it.

^When you get a job at any store/restaurant/etc., you pretty much just lose all respect for humanity. At my job, I have many things I have to do, but one of them is running pizza. I had two pizzas in my hand and some ghetto lady stops me and asks "Are those mine?" Um, how am I supposed to know? There are 400 people here and I'm supposed to know YOUR individual order? So I ask her "What's your number?" She said she didn't know. I didn't even say anything, I just walked away. Come on, people. Then we have people that will bother me when I deliver food to other tables. "Is that my pepperoni pizza?" "No, this is number 35. I see you're number 40. It'll be a few minutes." "Oh, well why can't you just give me that pizza? We ordered the same thing." UGH!!! You get your food in chronological order of when you paid for it. So these people that ordered before you have to wait until after YOU get your food? Grrr.

I miss my CoasterDynamix sets I went off to college and can't fit them in my dorm room. I bet I could if I got creative, but I've settled with some smaller, less realistic K'NEX sets.

So I'm in Wichita, KS at home for Thanksgiving break and I was reading some local news articles online. I am SO tired of racism in Wichita. If there is EVER someone who is Hispanic or has a Hispanic name on the news, people get all up in arms about how they are here illegally and they need to be "shipped" back to Mexico. I worked at a restaurant here for almost a year and almost every night about a half hour before closing, we would usually just have Hispanic customers come in. I wonder if it's because they don't want to put up with people's BS during the day when everyone is out and about. People are so unbelievably rude in Wichita and pretty much all of Kansas. This is one of the major reasons I moved to a new state. And you know what? I frickin' love the people in Colorado. The majority of the population seems to be more accepting of all kinds of people.
