I just started learning how to use Newton2 for NoLimits. I'm still getting the hang of it and I am really struggling with the multi-zone forces, but I managed to make a recreation of Top Thrill Dragster along the way. The top hat, in my opinion is just a little too narrow. I didn't really think about this until I was almost done with the supports for the ride, so I said "screw it." Haha. The top of the top hat was a bit too circular rather than parabolic, so I just did that by hand. Anywho, this is my FIRST complete Newton2 coaster. It is able to run 4 trains. Also, it will occasionally roll back. Unfortunately, the game won't get the train up to speed to get over the hill if this happens. Through all of the tests I've done, it rolls back about 1/10 of the time. ^Yes, she really was. A lot of people say that Raja was just a man in a dress and I kind of agree to an extent. Manila should've won either way.

JESUS IS A BISCUIT!!! Lol. Latrice and Dida's lip sync is really one of my all-time favorites. She really did take us to church After that, I would have to say either Manila and Delta Work OR Raja and Carmen.

Sharon Needles better win Drag Race tonight. I have the feeling it's gonna be Phi Phi, unfortunately. I loved her... Until she became a huge a$$ to everyone. Chad Michael's is already famous so she really doesn't need to win anyway :/ EDIT: I just learned it's NOT the finale tonight, but it's just highlights from the season. NEXT week is the finale!

All of the tornadoes back in my home of Wichita, Kansas did a lot of damage Here is a picture of a ferris wheel that was in carnival that got a direct hit. It completely tipped over. -
Kennywood (KW) Discussion Thread

I don't see the issue. Kennywood's primary target IS families, but there are plenty of people who visit without kids. It's not like Chuck E. Cheese's. THAT is a place that I don't agree with alcohol being served because it is a CHILDREN'S place. Not just families. -

So I've been crying all night. It's NOT because: 1) I was in a car wreck and was severely injured 2) Lost my job unfairly 3) My boyfriend broke up with me 4) I ate some bad chinese food 5) Dropped my iPhone in the toilet. In fact, none of that happened. I'm crying because I just saw Titanic in 3D. I'm not joking -
I was talking to a friend of mine at work yesterday about how I have less than a month here because I'll be working at Cedar Point this summer. She asked me what that was. I told her it was a very large amusement park in Ohio and they have 17 roller coasters, more than any park in the world. She insisted that I was wrong and they don't have 17. Instead, Elitch Gardens has more than than 17 roller coasters, so there's no way Cedar Point has more... Oh lordy.

^I've noticed the opposite effect regarding bars/clubs. I've noticed more and more straight people going to those rather than straight clubs. My mom, while straight, chooses only to patronize gay bars/clubs not only because she's a supportive ally, but she loves the atmosphere. She says that compared to "straight" bars/clubs, she feels that people are there just to have fun and socialize. She could also just like it because she can dance with "hot, shirtless Latin boys and not have to worry about anything!" Last night at my University, they held Queer Prom. My school only has about 13,000 people, but there were near 1,000 people in attendance, many of which were straight and just wanted to have fun. We had a great night!

What is your next park?
christianscoasters replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Cedar Point! I'll be a ride host at Gemini, so for the first week or so, I won't have the "guest experience" BUT it will still be the first park I'm visiting for the season. Haha. -
Seriously, guys. We're not joking when we're saying it's a long ways from Denver. It's not a "side trip." Just because Denver and Glenwood Springs are both in Colorado does not mean that they are close. 150+ miles in the rocky mountains DOES take a while to go through. The speed limit isn't that high and there are plenty of twists and turns on the interstate. Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is technically in the middle of nowhere.

I'm gonna be a ride host at Cedar Point this summer! Yeahhhh!!!

Do you live near Denver, CO?
christianscoasters replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm an hour north in Greeley! -
Like it was said above, Mind Eraser and Twister II are pretty much the best things on earth according to Coloradans. I can't tell you how many times people ask me what I think of Mind Eraser (since it's inverted). Denver deserves a better park. There's the market for it, so why not? Eh, oh well. Elitch Gardens needs a big staple coaster.

PortAventura Discussion Thread

I love how Shambhala and Leviathan both have "speed hills." Almost all of the B&M hypers/gigas that I made in NoLimits had one of these and it's nice to see them becoming reality!
