Anyway I'm currently into: Sonic Youth Pavement Radiohead The Flaming Lips The Polyphonic Spree David Bowie and Primal Scream Also I'm currently listening to the new Lightning Seeds album, it's been about 10 years since they last made an album and it's good to see them back in the studio and back on form again, although it's quite an odd mix of country and pop (not the cheesy radio type) mixed with their old school britpop roots. The last coaster I rode was AIR at Alton Towers. I have always wanted to try out a flying coaster, and it is really good fun, but the position that you were in for the ride I actually founed quite uncomfortable. Afterwards my neck really hurt. I've been playing guitar for quite some time now, I own a Black 1980s fender strat, A tanglewood acoustic, and a fender 12 string. I also play Keyboards too. I've been looking to start a band for ages now, and my mate plays bass so were gonna form a band together, and try and get a drummer. Well after about a week, it's got really bad so me and my friends have decided to stay away from them. We still say "Hi" if they come up to us and talk, but not make full conversation cause we belive what they have done is horrible. But, to be honest with you I have seen what they've done to other people in my school, and I have been bullied by them in the past, and I don't want to go down that route again because I'm really happy now and I know if those two girls decide to turn against me then life will be a wreck again. One time they bullied this girl so much that she had to leave the school and change to another one. They're just nasty girls who I don't have time for. Well as I said above, I think everyone, including me, is too afraid to stand up to these girls because of what we've seen happen to people in the past. It's just a matter of fear of the unknown if you know what I mean, will they admit what they have done wrong, or will they turn around and really stab us in the back. Also, I heared when they were sending the text in an english lesson they told one of their friends "We're going to send her a text that's going to really stab her in the back". Hey I'm not sure wether this is the right place to post this, but basically one of my friends is quite unstable mentaly and has tried to overdose a few times and it's horrible. She's on prozac so that's kind of helping her a bit but not much. Anyway, shes recently been in an argument with another set of my friends, i'm not really sure what it's about and to be honest I couldn't care less. A couple of days after the argument had happened they sent her a text saying "We hope you try to overdose again and this time we hope it works". Well I don't know about you but theres girls bitching but then there is just plain heartlessness. After they had sent that text, everyone founed out about it and now despise them, and they have even said to the girl with mental problems that if they ever pick on her again then it'll be really serious. But i'm sorry, isn't saying that serious enough! Also, all of my friends are weaklings because they've been saying "Well were not picking sides but if anything else is said then we will" and I mean, isn't that like the worst possible thing you could ever say to ANYONE who is in that situation. And me and my friends were with the girl yesterday, and she left and the girls that sent her the text were there, and they kept on pressuring me into telling them what has been said while they were not there! They also did it to numerous other people aswell! Also, they're having a party, and they kept on going up to people saying "Are you a true friend?" "Well you can come to our party". It's so horrible and nasty it makes me sick, but I don't know wether or not I should just turn around and say "No you were wrong and I don't want you in the group anymore" Because they might shun me out of the group, seriously they would, they are that evil. I suppose it's a bit contradictory calling my friends weaklings when I'm being one aswell, but I'm so confused and I don't know what to do, and need some advice. EPIC FAIL. Hip hop isn't dead! It is very much alive, I mean what do you hear mostly in the charts today? Hip Hop! If hip hop were dead, then there wouldn't be any hiphop, and that would mean the world would be missing some extremely talented musicians. You know the red hot chilli peppers? Well 90% of their fans today are "Grungers" and despise the living daylights of hip hop, well I can tell you, RHCP used to be an underground rap band long before they are what they are today. Also, some hip hop artists can write lyrics far better than any other metal band I have heared. Dizzy Rascal here in the UK won the mercury prize, which is an award for album of the year! Roots Manuva is another example, it has been hailed by the UK press as the voice of urban britain! I really do hate people who say "Hip Hop is crap" Hip hop isn't crap, If you search long and hard you can find some really decent hip hop artists. I mean I know it's peoples different tastes and stuff, but don't base your opinions of hiphop based on 50 Cent or Snoop Dogg. Cheers, BlackHole2005

It's a bit of a contrast to how the parks are run today though, some people could say it's a good thing that they are run like they are today but some could say it's a bad thing. It reminds me of the time when I ordered a chinese and I was meant to order the number 2377 pork balls but they turned out to be 2377 chicken balls. I swear the pork balls were number 2377 though! The Album that I've listening to as I'm typing this is Doves- Some Cities. I just founed it in my sisters bedroom, and it's one of the best albums I've eared in a while. Just a collection of real feel good songs, but these guys are just so talented. Also, K'naan! I never heared of him at all and found him out on some website, he's brilliant. He's a rapper but he doesn't rap about your average gangster rap stuff, he's from somali in africa and he writes about politics, violence that he has witnessed in his past life etc. all to samples of world music bands, it's really unique stuff. Theres a girl that looks like a fish in my IT class and she bitches about the same person every lesson. It's just like, do you have nothing else to talk about or don't you have the brain cells or vocabulary to find something a bit more constructive to talk about rather than bitching about the same girl every lesson. I've been listening to their stuff on youtube and I have to say they are begginig to become my favourite band at the moment, their stuff recently inspired me to put an ad in NME to form a band. 2008 has been the best year of my life so far. Good: My First and certainly not my last glastonbury. Started actually going out instead of sitting at home on my pc. Made LOADS of new friends. Went on holiday to boston. Which was amazing. Took up guitar and now I'm really good at it. Got heavily into music and bands Became closer to my family and friends. Bad: My year 11 mock results were disasterous. Didn't really care about school much. Parents constantly havning a go about my grades (Fair enough though) Alot of problems happened this year which put me in a really depressive state of mind. Low Self- Esteem for half the year But I have to stay, I can't wait to see what adventures 2009 bring me. Roll on 2009! Cheers, BlackHole2005
