That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane - Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn - world serves its own needs, regardless of your own needs. Feed it up a knock, speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height, down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population, common group, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn. Lock him in uniform and book burning, blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle, light a motive. Step down, step down. Watch a heel crush, crush. Uh oh, this means no fear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. The other night I tripped a nice continental drift divide. Mount St. Edelite. Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Breshnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs. Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic, slam, but neck, right? Right. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine...

2 Hours for collosus at thorpe park is not good. It seems that even though it's been there since 2000 it still gets long queues, even on the less busier days! I went there on a school trip and we went on monday so you would expect the park to be empty, all the other rides had amazing queues but collosuses was about 2 hours long! Plus it had to be shut down loads of times due to rain. Cheers, BlackHole2006

What is your favorite band?

Little Jackie is prettey good, the album is amazing. British Sea Power are incredible! I am yet to buy the hold steadys new album, but hopefully when I do it will be amazing. -
Hey Guys, I used to be a bit of an arsehole when I first got on here, my posts were prettey crap and didn't really contribute much to topics, they were always snide remarks that I thought was funny but they wern't. So I took a break for a while and learned by reading the older members posts to see how I can actually contribute a bit more to the forums and make better posts. I hope my posts are a bit better now then they were "Back in those days". Cheers, BlackHole2005

Here is the next part since I'm bored! DAY 2- Friday Walking to see the opener, Kate Nash. Why was terrible. Waiting for Kate Nash. Her set looked kinda awesome, but it was appaling on many levels. BOOOOOO! This band was amazing, Phantom Limb. We crossed to the jazz world stage to see what was going on there, and this band came up. Their like a mixture of Country and Soul, but they are wicked! Get cape wear cape fly have been my favourite band for months. He was really good and put on a great show! At one time they even had a beat boxer on stage! He uses his laptop and an acoustic guitar to make his songs. I reccomend his first album highly. Get Cape himself. Vampire Weekend on the other stage. They were amazing! We had to leave shortly though to see Alabama 3 at the jazzwold stage who were immense! A brilliant view of the other stage! Yup. Alabama 3 were AWESOME. Unfortunately we had to leave early to go and see The Feeling. I'm glad we did. They were brilliant. If they wern't doing their hits they were doing covers that you could sing along to. The lead singer has great stage presence. More of the awesome feeling. The john peel stage. We were gonna see the ting tings but the tent was literally too crammed and everyone was forced to watch outside and the sound was rubbish outside. See what I mean! What a croud. The cinema feild. We went there after Kings of leon to see transformers, it was a well good film. The gossip, We only saw the last two songs because we were there to see the editors who played a blinding set. Croud. They were definately my favourite band at glastonbury. Kings of leon. To be honest they were really dissapointing. booo. Tommorow I will post parts 3 and 4 up! Thank you for reading and please comment! Cheers, BlackHole2006 -
Hello, I've literally just come back from going to Glastonbury 2008. It was amazing. I have a tonne of photos to show you guys, but there are lots of them, so I will do them in parts. Please feel free to comment between the parts. I will tell you what I thought of each band I saw aswell. DAY 1- THURSDAY. This is stonehenge which can be founed on the way to the festival, I think it was there before cavemen times. Worthy Farm itself, when michael eavis (organiser) isn't working on the festival, he milks cows. Lovely lovely view. Crappy Crappy caption. The car park, we were parked in east b. The acoustic tent was set up to combat synthesized instruments that riled the 1980s. Before. After. It didn't take us long to put the tent up and find a spot. We managed to get out and explore within 15 minutes of ebing at the festival. The acoustic tent. It was a really sunny day, but at night it rained, heavily. This photo shows how vast the site is, this isn't even half of the site behind me. The acoustic cafe. I had my first glasto meal here, Pain au chocolat. Yummy! The saddlespan stage. The circus tent, there is far more to see and do at glastonbury then most festivals. Walking to the main site. You can't not take a nice photo at Glastonbury. The left feild stage. The left feild. The left feild is mainly for politics and things, political speakers give speaches and stuff. There are so many food stalls you don't know where to look! The pyramid stage! Another view. It was really emotional actually seeing it for real. WEED WORLDDDD! The jazzworld area was packed, probably because there was a brothers cider bar nearby. It was prettey much this full all day. The stone circle. What a view! We then went to Shangri La, and found a reallly intimate tent where this awesome ska band was playing, you didn't see anyone standing still! Trash city. And again. So that was thursday. It was a brilliant day, but at night it rained so we went back to the tent. We were going to see the levellers but we fell asleep in our tent before the set started. Bummer. Part 2 coming tommorow! Cheers, BlackHole2006

What is your favorite band?
BlackHole2005 replied to SonOfBeastSucks's topic in Random, Random, Random
Holy crap I love you! I love MGMT and Vampire Weekend! Two of my favorites. ---Brent Really? So far your the only person I know that actually likes those two bands!. I have another band you should check out, I'm not sure wether you have heared of Sigur Ros or not, but these guys are basically the english equivelent to them. They are called iLiKETRAiNS and they are all university graduates. They write really really intense stuff. They have literally just started out as a band and have two albums out and are not very well known in the uk yet let alone the us. I don't care much for the vocals but you have to listen to the music to realise how talented their songs are. iLiKETRAiNS- The Deception Their latest album is called elegies to lessons learnt and I'm not sure wether they have released it in the us yet but have a look and if they have do yourselves a favour and buy it. Please say what you think about this fantastic band. Cheers, BlackHole2005. -
I would accept anyone reguardless of wether they are gay or not. I find it hard to belive how anyone could be a homophobic. It's not their fault and they cant help the way they are. Earlyer on in the week me and my friend went into the shops to by some batteries, and the shop assistant said "Dare I ask what it's for?" as a joke. My friend literally stormed out the shop and started hitting things, and when I told him that gays cant help the way they are, he even tried to hit me. Later on when he calmed down, I asked why he got so angry, and he replied "Something happened to me and it was with a gay person so I have a reason to hate them". Now everytime he comes round he insists we go to the shops and tell the shop assistant that we are not together! Also, my other mate says "Being gay is just wrong" and I try to stick up for them, he accuses me of being gay!. It's completely stupid and immature to be so homophobic especially when it's somebody my age who should be mature enough to accept people even if they are gay, bisexual, muslim whatever. Yes I do have my immature moments, but it's usually just toilet humor and only happens when I'm hyper, but I would never insult anybody who is different from me because I know how it feels to be bullied and insulted and it hurts. And also, another issue I have is in my school when teachers look asian especially indian, they get laughed at and taunted. I feel that this is a complete disgrace and that the people who are laughing at teachers just because they are from a different origin should be laughed at themselves and see how they feel afterwards. I come from a very middle class area and most people here are white, but I still have the decency to respect people if they come from another country and not just take the piss out of them for no apparent reason. I'm sorry that this is such a long post but it's genuinely how I feel right now, abotu people judging other people etc.

What bands need to go away?
BlackHole2005 replied to Sir Clinksalot's topic in Random, Random, Random
I dont know wether any of you guys have heared of this group but. Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong. They have literally been hyped up beyond belief, yes their first record is catchy but to be perfectly honest the rest of their stuff sounds horrible. Plus, they havn't even released an album yet and their playing on The other stage at glastonbury. -
^^^ Well the good news is all of her friends seem to like me and they keep on trying to tell the girl who I helped out to go out with me and everytime she says I'm not her type. She said it to my face once when I asked her out and was like "I like someone else, your not my type, i'm really sorry". That hurt my feelings so badly. To be honest I don't see there being any chances with her anymore because I've asked her out too many times and everytime I do I get a no. Yeah I might do that, well my friend is like best mates with this girl so he said one time he will go over to where she hangs out with me and talk to her then just go away when we are in conversation so hopefully it will work. I'm not gonna do the same mistake I did last time where I asked her out before I even knew her.
-
Thanks for the advice goliath! Yah I do have someone in mind, but she is really shy and I am extremely shy aswell so basically we are to shy to even talk to eachother lol. Anyway, yesterday was a total downer for me. Me and all my freinds and that girl that I asked out loads of times before because of my stupid problem was there and she knows I like her alot, anyway she was drunk out of her face getting off with other guys, I was so upset. I really didn't want to take advantage though, that would have been the wrong thing to do. So instead of taking advantage, later on when she was almost throwing up on the floor, I went to fetch her some water. So not only did I have to sit through her getting off with other guys, I had to get her some water when she was paraletic drunk. Plus, one girl went bear leary on me because I laughed then my friend almost hit me when he was half cut because I saw him try and take advantage of a girl that was off her face drunk, and I told him that it was the wrong thing to do! Although there was some funny moments yesterday, the rest of it sucked. Cheers, BlackHole2006.

Hey Guys, I have a question but I'm also gonna put my view about relationships aswell. All of my freinds are going out with people, and tommorow my only mate who I can talk to who hasn't got a girlfriend is gonna ask someone out, and I know when I go up to him he will just push me out of the way. My question is, what should I do if I get lonely? Anyway here is my view on relationships. I just don't feel the need to start one, I already screwed up on my last one big time, since I have dyspraxia where I can't read peoples thoughts very well, so when I asked her out and she said no, I didn't actually realise she meant no.... and kept on asking her until she got freaked out by me, that was so hard. So basically I have decided that I wont ask a girl out again any time soon, because it just hurts so much when I screw things up. It's not as if I really need a girlfriend anyway, It would be nice to have one as my self esteem is prettey crap right now, but I'm not like "I WANT A GIRLFRIEND OMG!!!!111ONE!". I'm not that despirate. Plus I'm kind of (and i'm sorry if this sounds emo, but it is genuinely how I feel about myself) unlucky with my looks. Chaars, BlackHole2006

I'm currently doing a solo project with me, my guitar, a small keyboard, a bointempi organ and some laptop processed beats. I havn't written anything yet, but when I do I will post on here and show you. Plus I've made a load of dance tunes on fruity loops and recorded them, FL is so fun.
-
Sorry guys! I just didn't see that thread. Again I apologise, it wont happen again.

Hey Guys, I was just wandering, What instruments do you play/own, if you do own an instrument tell us what make it is. I currently play guitar, i'm prettey good but the stuff I can play is fairly basic, as I have only been playing for about 6 months, I own a Fender Stratacaster, that ones my electric, and a Tanglewood, which is my acoustic. I use the acoustic more than my electic because I can carry it around and I don't have to bring my amp downstairs to the study if I want to learn a tab, if I find a tab I want to learn I usually print it off or just do it on my acoustic. I'm also fairly good at keyboard and I am saving up for one. So what instruments do you own/play?

BlackHole2005 replied to SonOfBeastSucks's topic in Random, Random, Random
I've heared of alot of new bands that I like recently. Beirut is fantastic, as are Operator Please, Cajun Dance Party, The Wombats. MGMT, their album is fantastic for just keyboards, wow! Has anyone else heared of Vampire Weekend aswell? -
I'm a guy who likes girls but I know that if I was gay my family would accept it and not go all awkward. But one of my mates is homophobic and when two gay guys walk past us holding hands my friend goes "That's Disgusting!". Then I start having a go at him saying that gay people are just like you and me except they like guys, theres nothing disgusting about it. But everytime I say it he challenges me and says that I'm gay! but I just say to him "So what if I am" and that shuts him up. To be honest all that "Gays are disgusting" and "Bisexuals are freaks" is a load of crap and for a 15 year old to be saying it is just plain immature and nieve. Cheers, BlackHole2006

Hi Guys! I think the new trains look absolutely fantastic, even if they do have massive holes in them... but hey, if it makes for a smoother ride we can't complain. My sister went to SFMM last year on her explorers san diago trip and said that X gave her a headache, hopefully this will change with the new trains (although I will probably necer get to ride it ) Anyway, I'm really glad to see Six Flags have changed for the better. I don't know wether I have posted this before but SFNE was great when I went, but that is ment to be their more better parks. I really like what you guys are doing to the park! Keep up the good work . Cheers, BlackHole2006

Best Drop Ride!!!
BlackHole2005 replied to coaster_shorty's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My favourite dropride would have to be venom at West Midlands Safari Park in birmingham, It's half a detonator and if you sit on the end it is so freaking scary! It creaks when you are at the top aswell and the seats are really comfy. Cheers, BlackHole2005 (I should get it changed to BlackHole2007) -
I think both of these rides look awesome! I especially love The Hornet one as I do like the ones that twist into the track and you don't have a clue where you are going. Megaphobia is a prime example of the type of woodie I like. But the out and backer (forgot the name) looks nice for a small park. Both of them look great! If I were a small park with very little space I would go for the hornet but If I were a small park with alot of land I would do the out-and-backer. Cheers, BlackHole2006
