I didn't think so at all. To me, Thunderhead and KY Rumbler are both vastly superior rides. But it seemed that the vast majority of the TPR Europe this trip absolutely loved this ride. It may well have been the favorite woodie of the trip.

Absolutely. And it's a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy that a bunch of Intamin fans would make the trek to ride T-Express in its first season. But everything is above board: T-Express is available for anyone to ride. And anyone can vote in the poll. It says a lot that the ride impressed a group of well-traveled enthusiasts this much. When I see a new ride shoot up in the poll like this, my natural reaction is, "I need to figure out a way to get out and ride that." But we know some people are going to have a different reaction. In short, I really need to make it out to Everland!

That's why Liz & I opted out of Rock 'n Roller Coaster that day. So we could greedily snatch up another pair of Midway Mania Fast Passes. The Disneyland version seemed almost identical. Although they didn't do Fast Passes, they had a nice (read: short) single rider line. MM does not seem to lose any of its fun even after a large amount of rides. It's really going to be awesome when they start doing stuff like adding games that are specific to whatever holiday the parks are celebrating.

Wow, they do an amazing job of lighting up that park. Kind of makes me feel like I made the wrong choice by going to Disneyland this month. They have nothing that good in terms of holiday displays.

That's pretty sad. I'm barely interested in basketball and I've seen my alma mater play a few times. But, frankly, it's not surprising considering they're UK fans. I suspect that most of the UK fans I know have never actually been to a game even though it's not far from here. As for my school, they're playing Duke on Saturday. A win would be nice.

Yeah, I must have been half awake when I did that. I forgot to take it down to the distance/sec level. Fixed it. It's still very impressive for a little guy like that. Unless you're taking the MCAT where they let you be lazy and approximate g = 10 m/s^2. I loved that. Of course, that was because you had to do all the problems in your head on that test.

I started this book, but never finished it. It was a pretty decent read, but for me it was just a giant case of preaching to the choir. I'm told that the evolutionary biology books that Dawkins wrote, like "The Selfish Gene" and "The Blind Watchmaker", are much better as Dawkins is a biologist by trade. Right now I'm just reading various Sherlock Holmes short stories. I'm quite a fan of these, but knowing most of the endings does lessen the experience a bit.

This question can only be answered by your doc. Nobody here knows anything about your condition or whether or not an amusement ride could exacerbate it.
