Oh boy. Another one trick coaster that is sure to be plagued with problems.

There's this thing called "thinking for yourself". Try it.

Roller Soaker already has an insanely long line. Is there really that much of a difference between 90 minutes and 2 hours? It sucks both ways. It's not like taking away virtual queuing systems is going to give parks reasonable waits on busy days. Look at how bad Cedar Point's waits can be. Flash Passes are an absolute life saver for out of town guests with very limited time. How else could I ride every coaster at Great Adventure on a Sunday in July?

Problem is most fair rides run like crap. It takes a park like Knoebels or Indiana Beach to run 'em right.

I started working on my ballot. Man, what a bitch. I have to use the grouping method because there's no way I could rank all these coasters individually.

So which name lasted longer, Knott's Great America or Flight Deck?

It was a ginormous mistake either way. Did you forget to SPELLCHECK?

I just saw Juno at the theater. It was really good. And that's saying a great deal because I'm generally a hater of contemporary cinema.

Credit can be fun. I put my car loan balance onto one of those 1 year intro 0% APR credit cards like 3-4 years ago. I kept transferring the balance every year to another 0% card and took my sweet time paying off the balance. Free money rules! Of course I think the days of running this scam are numbered thanks to Citigroup and its ilk.

Flight Deck II.

I'm ready for that because I'm tired of getting scratched discs from Netflix. Nothing like sitting down to watch a DVD with a fresh bowl of popcorn only to discover that the disc doesn't work.

Yeah, definitely don't buy HD-DVD. After decades and hundreds of millions of dollars of bribes to movie studios, Sony finally won a format war. And definitely don't believe anything retailers tell you about HD-DVD at this point. They've got inventory to unload.

Slow down there Tiger. At least ride the thing before you bash it. One thing Indiana Beach knows how to do is surprise you with underwhelming looking rides. I'm trusting that they know what they're doing until my personal experience says otherwise. And even if the ride doesn't work out, I'll still want to hit IB 2-3 times per year. I would have gone even if they didn't add anything this year.

See I don't get this. It's true that B&M hypers don't give extreme -g forces like Intamin hypers do. But they have a buttload of floating airtime and the pops last forever. The drops are pretty good also. Maybe it's because I *always* ride in the very back row. This seems to make a difference. I actually prefer the 4 US B&M hypers over SROS at Darien Lake and SFA. Mainly because I hate the stupid modified restraints that bash your shins and scrape the sides of your legs. to whomever came up with that God awful idea. Though I am immensely looking forward to adding the two European Intamin hypers to my credit list this summer.

I'm totally with you on this. There are countless better coasters they could have purchased.

I'm with you on this. Alpie is the clunkiest B&M invert I've been on. It's not Vekoma hang 'n bang bad, but it's rough for a B&M. I thought it would be much better.

If only we lived in a country where idiots like that weren't financially rewarded in the courts. Hello European parks!

Yeah, that makes a lot more sense than a B&M invert with a giant vertical drop.

An invert with a 262 foot drop? I hope this works out for them, but I'm a little guarded considering the situation with Alpengeist.
