Thanks for explaining yourselves, you both have valid points. -I'm only 16! The only places I'll be driving is to school, or to meet friends somewhere. It's not like I'll be taking road trips. -Do some research and you'll find that it is just as safe as any other "small car". -What's wrong with being environmentally friendly? I see where you’re coming from, but I think this will be the perfect car for what I am going to need it for. I actually have seen that video. The Smartcar sales people even mentioned it to people curious about the safety. That was the 1st generation of them, the 2nd generation is safer. The car was designed with safety in mind, if it wasn't no one in the US would buy one.

Wow, and I thought I was good at tearing people apart... The Smartcar if definitely not for everyone, but I had no idea someone could hate a car with a "burning vengeance". Anyone care to say why they hate it? Just curious.

I don't even like Harry Potter and that was hilarious! -
Well today my mom drove me up to Hyde Park in Tampa so we could test drive the Smartcar! It coming to the US in 2008, and hopefully it'll be my first car! Here is the website: www.smartusa.com The test drive was really cool, and just made me more excited to be able to drive one in 2008! These cars are awesome, I mean c'mon they are in the Wii commercial! Here's some pictures from the "event"... Last picture, Somebody test driving these awesome cars! So I'm at a point in my life where I don't care what people think...so here's me and hopefully my future car in the backround! Best picture I got of the actual cars, they are so cool! Here's another picture...I beleive it's called the Tridon Saftety System. Here's inside the van. The thing you see in the picture is the steel cage that surrounds the passengers. The van with the little "museum" type set up inside. YAY Smartcar!

SeaWorld Hawaii |RCT3|
thefitness replied to Twister II's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I'm not sure if I've commented on this park yet, but it is awesome! The new ride is cool, but it doesn't have the SeaWorld feel to it; Same with the SpaceShot/DropTower. -
Dominator track at KD
thefitness replied to Clint Novak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Seems like a nice addition, although I didn't find Dominator to be overly exciting, it was not a bad ride at all. I think what I liked most about it, was how different it was than other Floorless B&Ms. I've never been to KD, but from reading the posts above it sounds like Dominator will fit in nicely. -
Scenery in Scareapy average? I think not...but I'll let it slid since it's your first HHN All the houses had so much more detail than houses in the past. Vampyr maybe being the only exception, but it had some of it own unique features, i.e. Human chandelier. EDIT: Also if he astronaut seemed out of place, he was from Jack's Funhouse. A few days into the event they added that cast to the streets until it is time for them to go into their house because of the lack of actors on the streets. And the motorcycle is supposed to be “ripped off” of a carousel.

Ugh, no foam this year When I heard about the Treaks and Foons I was so excited because of the foam. No foam, but the farting/burping soundtrack is back! -

I have not experienced Hollywood's HHN, but from the looks of it Orlando still beats it out. That of course, is just my opinion though. The Art and Design Team really stepped it up with the houses this year, and all of them had an amazing amount of detail. They even added a small area with Treaks and Foons (without the masks) because so many people were complaining about lack of scarezones. The best thing to do is go into it with an open mind. I really enjoyed this year, and can't wait to go back! Nice Photo TR! Sounds like a really fun 'adventure' traveling across country! -
Secrets of the Sideshow Tour October 10th Ok so I'm going to start off by saying, this was probably the best money we’ve ever spent! The tour was awesome and only made me want to go back and see what I learned from the tour in action. I highly recommend the tour to any HHN fan, or anyone that is interested in seeing what this event is all about. Almost all of the Art and Design Team members were there, and all my questions were answered. It was so nice to finally talk to people who are just as obsessed with the event as I am! After hearing some of the stories they had, I will now appreciate even the smallest of detail! I feel like name dropping so thanks to T.J. , Mary, and Mike A. who I had one-on-one conversations with. My only complaint for the tour was my tour guide. I’m not going to mention names, but I felt like I was being talked down to, and that my questions were a burden…even though it was their job. I didn't end up taking as many pictures as I intended, but I was too busy listening to everything. Wednesday was seriously one of the best days of my life, and got me even more excited for my next visit in November! MOST IF NOT ALL PICTURES CONTAIN SPOILERS Cool ceiling in the museum. Well that's it for now. The next time I'm going is closing night, and I'm planning on taking more pictures than my first visit. Part of Mary's Parlor. Mary's creepy dolls. Stupid smile...chillin with Mary Shaw. Just about everything in the DS house was extremely close the the movie sets. You see Santa's other half earlier in the house. Cool backyard! Snowman decorated with woodchipper victim remains! First thing you see when you walk into Home for the Holidays. Johnny Depp's bedroom scene. Facade for Freddy's house. For all you SleepWell fans. My mom and I in the museum. That was the furniture used in the commercial.

Nice pictures and reviews Erik! I completely agree with you on Psychoscareapy, and it was my favorite house as well. They did an excellent job keeping the same Scareapy feel in an all new environment. -
I haven't laughed all day until I read this thread! I'd like to be an astronaut when I grow up! Jokes Aside... Seems like you need to get your priorities straight and narrow down your scale of jobs. So far it seems like you got everything from bum to President of the United States.

That's strange. Over here in Florida we are having some weird camera issues also. For one no one is allowed near the New Line characters with a camera. For some media shots they got opening night they all had to walk out in black robes so guests couldn't sneak a picture. Also for a few nights the employees seemed to be telling everyone to put their cameras away, and that pictures weren't allowed. That seems to have stopped though.

Dude! I was obsessed wit Thomas the Tank Engine when I was a little kid! I'm sure if I went to Thomas Town at SFMM it would ruin what I remember as a great show for kids. Besides that, I didn't really expect much at all from any expansions at SFMM at the moment. Who knows maybe we will all be surprised and Thomas Town will be awesome! ...
