  1. As a guest, I'd estimate around 50 visits to SFKK over the years. For work? Easily 250+.
  2. Wow! Very impressive! One can only imagine all the time and effort put into that masterpiece! And just curious, what are the dimensions of the drawing, cause it looks rather large?
  3. Hate to be a fact nazi but these two made me chuckle. I always thought the imitations and knock offs came second?
  4. Nailed it! Slow, short, weak hill, and very little water (which others may consider as a plus, but not me). There's just nothing that really stands out about. I'd even take Yankee Clipper and Logger's Run at SFGAm or even the one at SFStL over Holiday World's any day.
  5. Best: (That I've been on) Splash Mountain WDW and Daredevil Falls at Dollywood. Worst: Frightful Falls at HW
  6. Yeah, Jeff said it himself, this season has had some crazy blindsides. Even though we could see this one coming half way through the episode, Erik sure didn't! Who knows what's going to happen next! I really think Cirie is going to win, just because she doesn't really have any enemies on the jury. She's been controlling this whole game ever since the merge.
  7. This season is getting crazy! It was sad to see James be taken out, but Amanda's twist there at the end was priceless! Eliza and Ozzy were dying over on the jury watching. Unless Erik continues to win the immunity challenges, I think Nat and himself are next to go. I'm hoping either Amanda or Cire wins the whole thing. Oh, and I really like how CBS is showing behind the scenes clips of Ponderosa (where the jury lives once voted off). I've always wondered where they go and what they get to do, and it basically seems like a nice little vacation resort with all the food and amenities they want. Good for them, they deserve it! Here's the website, and if you scroll down there are several clips: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor16/video/ponderosa.php
  8. Retail Team Lead at SFKK. I'm usually on the backside, either in or just outside of the waterpark.
  9. Haha, yet another blindside! This season has been full of them. Oh, and who would've thought Natalie would suddenly become so evil. Up to this point shes gone unnoticed in the background, and now she is running the show! It's all starting to get rather interesting.
  10. Yeah, that really scared me this morning! I woke up to the house shaking and door raddling, but by the time I got up and realized what was happening it stopped. Apparently an after-shock happened around 11:15 but I didn't feel it at school. The best part was the local television stations continuously replaying the anchormen doing the morning news when it happended, and seeing them screaming and freaking out! It just seemed to take everyone off guard since its rather uncommon to feel them here, even though we are somewhat near a fault line.
  11. .. and once again, Elissa's expressions at tribal were simply stunning.
  12. So I'm basically devastated that Eliza is gone! She was definitely one of my favorite survivors of all times. At least she kept positive, and she did make the merge and jury. If only the "stick" was the real idol and Jason wasn't such an idiot. Either way, this was one of the funniest episodes so far this season. Even though I'd hate for this to happen, I think that the Ozzy, James, Amanda, and Parvarti alliance will knock out all the fans with the help of Cerie and be the final four, but hopefully I'm wrong.
  13. Wow, never thought I'd see the day when a B&M was at a park with an Eiffel Tower. Too bad it isn't at Kings Island.
  14. Yeah, the next new episode is in two weeks on Thursday, April 3.
  15. Dang, they are dropping like flies this season. It's already down to 11 contestants (7 favorites and only 4 fans remaining, which is about how I thought it would go down). I'm assuming they had to knock out some challenges, considering some players have left unexpectantly. They have them planned out and built months in advance, and since it's getting towards a merge quickly, some tribe challenges that they made may never be used. The orange tribe (Airai I think) is really kicking Malakal's butt. Winning 5 of the last 6 challenges since the switch up. You go Eliza!
  16. I really liked the immunity challenge from this week. They did a similar one a few years ago (I think Cook Islands). The whole concept of carrying someone across those stepping platforms high above the water and stacking everyone on the small post at the end looks simple, but is probably rather challenging. It would be really fun to try it. And, I was extremely sad to see Penner go. If it weren't for this accident, I think he could have gone pretty far this season. Ohh well, at least Eliza survived another week!
  17. I definitely fell the same way. Despite Six Flags being a very large company, each individual park is like a smaller "family" feel where practically everyone knows your name and is willing to listen to everyones input, from top management to cast members. I was promoted to Team Lead after only one month, and may possible become a Supervisor this summer, while it only being my second season. Granted the fact that Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is a lot smaller than either Disneyland or even SFMM, I really like the more personable feel were you are an influential member (if even just slightly) who has the capability to advance, rather than simply another unknown employee to pay. I have contemplated working at Cedar Point over the summer, but fear I won't get the same experience than I can get at a more personable park where I'm not just one in the masses. I believe that it's better to have a say in and be a part of the company, than as Robb put it, just another robot.
  18. In addition to Superman beginning to be taken down, the Northwest Territory will be closed this season. This includes Twisted Twins and Mile High Falls, so the back path will be blocked off right after the Roller Skater and carousel. The area has been taken off of the new park map for this season (it's all just shown as a large grassy area). No definite word on for how long, but it could be until 2009. Now this doesn't mean they are being taken out, but instead Mile High Falls is being refurbished and this area is being looked into for future expansion.
  19. Wow, those are some stunning photos of Stealth and Nemesis Inferno! Looks like you had an excellent day to visit. I've have always been very intrested in Thorpe Park. Thanks for sharing!
  20. I had Carrabba's for dinner!
  21. Wow, thanks for the update! Looks like you all had a great time! Jay Thomas will be a great park president for SFMM, although we do miss him back here at Kentucky Kingdom.
  22. I just found out that we might possibly have to move to Buffalo, NY for my dad's new job. - Kevin "Anything > Buffalo" Conley
  23. [rant] Whining would be quite a bit more apt a word here. Honestly, they are not the best names, but please, do not make a fool of yourself and call these the worst names ever. I do believe everyone was just being sarcastic. I don't see the need to get all defensive at people poking fun at CF. Besides, we all do it.
