  1. I get the whole coaster counter thing, but I have some questions about specific rides. 1. Do racing coasters (such as Gemini at CP) count as two different coasters? 2. Are those dropping things (like Demon Drop at CP) considered coasters? 3. And what about powered coasters (the only one that comes to mind is Blazing Fury at Dollywood) count as a true credit? Thanks!
  2. WOW I am shocked that no one has mentioned The Beast at PKI. Although not new, it is by far the best classic terrain coaster!!! It's Amazing!
  3. OMG Last summer I went to SFGA in Chicago with my sister, mom, and grandma. My grandma is really old and gets tired easily walking out in the hot sun. I thought for sure the day was going to be a waist. To my surprise, she had been taking arobic classes to get back in shape for this day. I thought that was halarious considering she is in her late 60's. Anyways, she told me she used to love coasters when she was a kid wayyy back when (I guess it runs in the family). So, we get there and we first went to Superman since it is always crowded. She begged and begged to get on, but we wouldn't let her since that thing basically dangles you upside down. I thought for sure she'd have a heart attack. We get to Raging Bull, and once again she begged to ride. She swore she could handle it. So we resisted holding her back any longer and we let her ride. It was great!!! She loved it! After riding it three more times, we were getting off and some teenage girl was nearly in tears standing next to her friend in the queue just about to get on. This girl looked terrified. Her friend noticed us getting off and yelled, "Look, a grandma just rode the ride, I'm sure you can handle it." The girl calmed down and was willing to ride. Most of the people in the station must have been watching and they started to clap and cheer. "Grandma, you saved the day!" my sister yelled. It was halarious!!! Anyways my grandma ended up riding almost everything, including the Demon, American Eagle, Batman, Viper, and even De Javu!!!
  4. Looks great! Does the zero-g roll and dive loops on Predator come with the RCT3 Wild pack?
  5. Well, obviously this new coaster will be very curvy, since none of the track parts that have arrived on site yet are straight. I kind of agree now that it prehapes may not be a looping coaster since all of the curved pieces have (not sure how to word this) spots to connect to supports. Usually there aren't support beams coming off the track all the way around a loop. (hope you understand what I was trying to say there) ^^ I haven't heard about Kinzel's quote about inversions being a gimmic (but I have to agree). However that would also convince me that this new Intamin is not a looper. I don't seem so impressed (personally) about this new aquatrax concept or the wing walker idea. They seem fun but, not CP's style. I'm pulling for a launching coaster (yes I know, as if CP doesn't have enough recently) similar to a Rita, with some massive helixes and airtime!
  6. Ive read this whole thread and still believe its a looping intamin. I could very well be wrong, but it is "going in a new direction" from the past world record height coasters. A traditional chain lift would be a nice shift for CP. Ive also noticed some of you may need to attend some anger manegment classes. lol but seriously lets keep the peace.
