  1. roasted marshmallow has one too now! www.myspace.com/hnmcmullen
  2. That was funny. First time viewer of that particular video. Everyone should go to that park one day.
  3. It's missing the 'Canadian, Eh?' pizza. Can't be Canadian without that. (And I've never had pizza with corn on it, FYI, or a burger with onion rings, though I know they're out there.) Canadian, Eh? pizza has ham, real bacon bits, and mushrooms... mmmmm...
  4. Out of curiousity, what is Canadian take-away like? I don't know of any Canadian restauraunts here in Canada...
  5. And the Oilers are certainly nothing to write home about...
  6. Two or three hours isn't close? Seriously? I have Calaway Park... (lame) that's a 20 minute drive, and the next one is GalaxyLand in West Ed which is 3 hours away and also lame, (one coaster each...) and then it's Silverwood which is 8 hours away! Count your blessings! You can wake up in the morning and drive to a good amusement park and be there all day... I need a weekend to go to a good one.
  7. I haven't been on El Toro, (Or any Intamin woodie for that matter I think,) but the reason I like The Voyage is because it's intense all the way through.
  8. Two things come to mind really... The Beast is a cool 'retro-ride'... It feels like it was built in the 70s and I like that about it. A bit rough, a bit much on the brakes, but a good time all around. As for the Son of Beast, my sister said after we rode it, "You have to experience the worst to appreciate the best". It was the only coaster we did not ride twice. (Well, we didn't ride Legend twice either but that was because of a storm.) It just hurt and I was too busy thinking of the pain I was in to enjoy it.
  9. Foster kids and adopted kids need love too, probably more than a lot of other children in the world. While I want 3 of my own, I also want to adopt some. I have a lot of love to give and I for one will not discriminate about who I give it to... regardless of how I get them, they would still me MY OWN children.
  10. Excellent camera work! Nice stunt!
  11. That works I suppose. The only other oen near is Silverwood and that's an 8 hour drive already....
  12. Oh man. I need to live closer to theme parks and parties... BOO for Calgary.
  13. NO! They ruined my theming! I wanted a WILD WEST WORLD up here in Alberta! Dammit! Now I have to go back to the drawing board... and my park was going to have saloon girls serving drinks and cowboys operating rides and everything. ARGH! Ah well. It'll be good for Kansas... I think that's fairly? close to Alberta...
  14. I enjoyed The Voyage so much I sometimes watch the POV for it and pretend like I'm on it again.
  15. What's with the lack of love for redheads?!
  16. And more and more I'm thinking I want to go on 'All of the Above'! I hope I don't have any unexpected large expenses crop up...
  17. I didn't eat much at the theme parks on the trip with my sister, but we did stop for icecream at Mount Olympus.... I would say they had the best ice cream.
  18. As the closest major park to me, that would be great. Any and all of the above. Speaking of which, they should advertise more in Canada and not just the US.
  19. Yes. Do you enjoy the sport of hockey?
  20. People who call in and yell at me because they don't know how to quit talking on their cell phone. Also, people who expect me to replace for them a $400 phone they've had for a week because they dropped it in a puddle. Have you received a bill yet? Did it cover the cost of two phones? No? Then shut up. I'm not your phone's babysitter. You are responsible for your own phone, AND your own usage. I can't babysit all 4 million of our clients.
  21. Me and my sister drove from Calgary, Alberta to Santa Claus, Indiana to ride the Voyage... stopped at Silverwood, PKI, and MtO as well... That was what? 8000 kms round trip? Anyways, 3 days worth of driving each way. Then again, the closest park with a good coaster is 8 hours away in the first place.
  22. Alright, after all the input I've received, I added all the acronyms that have been listed here to my first post so they're easy to find for me, and anyone else that needs help! (And yes, I even took the time to alphabetize!) If after reading the list, you find any more that need to be added, feel free to post and I'll edit the first post as required! Thanks again for all your help!
  23. Thanks for the compliment on the signature. I proudly post it wherever I go... unless the board doesn't allow the word 'damn'...
  24. My avatar reflects my nickname.... or is it that my nickname reflects my avatar? Anyways, it's a perfectly roasted marshmallow.
  25. Oh man, that looks sick... but then I'm a coaster newb compared to all of you, and that would beat any steel coaster I've been on.
