Shuttle Loops Or Boomerangs
DenDen replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I voted shuttle loop because I've never been on a boomerang. -
Shockwave--Six Flags Magic Mountain
DenDen replied to coasterboy76's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I never knew it was a Giovanola! Just some tidbits...the firsts in North America belong to TOGO, and PCW's SkyRider. The first in the world is Standing and Loop Coaster in Japan. -
Which is Better… Satellite or Cable?
DenDen replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Random, Random, Random
I have both, and cable is better. My sat. goes out every time there is rain in the southern sky. But if you can put up with the outages, sat is cheaper. -

Return of Robb's um... "Pussy" card.
DenDen replied to Splash_Mountain's topic in Random, Random, Random
My question is, What makes this any different or more convenient than my debit mastercard? I never have to "recharge" my MC, and it's accepted everywhere. -
Hey, I'm proud to suffer from FFDD! You never get umbrellas in a bud, and you don't pee as much. Cute ads, I like the "little mouths" version.

I'm just bummed I didn't get the chance to do this. 2 co-workers got fired just as this started, and I've been pulling double shifts all month -

Photo TR: Coaster Team at Hershey's CCL
DenDen replied to FlyerACE1's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great TR!!! WOW! I haven't heard about Tim since he closed down the ORIGINAL (and best) Theme Parks and Rollercoaster Links site a few years ago. -
OMG, they still sell mobile-racks! I haven't seen them in YEARS! They are handy, just don't accidentally pull out your dive with the power on.

Quit smoking, and find a better man.

Sorry, that's a little dated, and almost 100% invalid now. Not to mention, most of it doesn't pertain to the average user. (from Jan 2003.)

From WSVN7 The news reported that she had her face smashed, and all her front teeth knocked out. Here is a GEE WIZ.

I hope this message doesn't sound bitter, it's not. It's all about personal preference these days. EI, Firefox, and Opera all the very different ways of doing things. (Opera being the most awkward thus far.) Anyway, The new IE pretty much will have everything that Firefox has, tabbed browsing, plug ins, etc... so IE users will see what others have seen for a couple years now. It's really no big deal though. If my IE actually worked, I'd probably use it. (I have to do a SCORCHED EARTH because of a corrupt driver that has embeded it's error deeply into the OS) So I may go back to it. One thing IE has over the rest is that it can correct HTML syntax errors on the fly, and display pages as they were intended, even if the HTML syntax is broken. No other browser does this. Not to mention, if it weren't for MS's proprietery invention of the I-frame, (amongst other code) there would be a lot of things you still couldn't do on the net design-wise. Slam them all you want, but they do influence standards. The best protection is Virus/spam protection, EDUCATION, and a firewall. (Preferably a hardware firewall.) If you have those configured correctly, and know what and what NOT to open, it doesn't matter what browser you use. People who buy a computer, turn it on, and expect to be safe on-line need to take a computer class. As long there have been networks, there have been hackers. (Gotta laugh at all the people that believe AOL protects them. LOL) I used to preach the open-source gospel, but I'm sorry, when it comes to browsers, IE does win. Before Firefox had a pop-up-blocking plug-in, I had IE with a 3rd party free ad-blocker. No difference.

I'm downloading 1.5 now, i hope they solved the disappearing favorites bug.

^ That assumption is correct Master. Though, the chat doesn't work with Opera, it's no big deal, nobody else uses it.

Firefox has a feature on it that blocks images hosted on 3rd party servers. So if someone posts an avatar or image in a message NOT hosted on TPR, it will not show.

#4 is the only one with character. #1 and #2 look exactly the same, and the rest look similar.
