I'm reposting this review from a few months back because it was lost in the server transition, and it was kinda discussed in another thread. Epson Stylus Photo R200 printer is a really cool, inexpensive printer ($80) that does some pretty cool things. I'll explain some features, then give you the action shots... Photo Printing: This puppy does full edge-to-edge printing on photo paper. This is the 1st printer I've had that does this quite well. And the print manager makes it very easy to use. Ink Tanks: This puppy uses 6 ink tanks for more realistic output. Of course you have cyan, yellow, magenta, and black, but there is also half-tone magenta and cyan. It really makes a huge difference in printing in high quality. Image Reading: You can hook up a camera via the USB port, or just print via the computer. But the biggest part of photo printing on this baby is that it reads the image tag data that cameras and graphics software store in image files, to print the most accurate reproduction. CD printing: This is why I bought this puppy. With "inkjet printable CDs/DVDs", that are only a couple pennies more than regular disks, you can print directly on the disk in full photo color. It even takes the mini-discs. Printable disks come in white-top, gold-top, or silver-top. Printing on white disks produces the best output, and the gold and silver ones look like true silk-screened gems with the right artwork. Here's a test print... It's a boy! The disk start to come out.... PUUUUUSH..... It swallows the tray, does those aligning motions, and starts printing. You insert a disk via a special tray included with the printer.

My nephew has Tourettes, the stories I could tell on this thread! LOL -
Actually, not many showed up, because more than half of our congregation has major damage from Wilma. You can't find a contractor, or supplies, ANYWHERE! So many have left town.

That was the most disgusting keyboard I've EVER seen.

Robb... Litescribe requires special disks. What it does is burns a 2-dimensional hologram into the top side of the disk. It's cool to an extent, being that you're limited to non-color images. I got an Epson Photo R200 that prints directly on ink-jet printable CDs/DVDs. I posted a photo report on this way back when you were having site problems. Maybe I should do a new one, if you're interested?

Kennywood (KW) Discussion Thread
DenDen replied to DenDen's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Could be just a reorganizing move. As companies get bigger, the more redundant positions they have. Sounds like growning pains to me. Growing up, and working there, the original team of Henninger and the Hughes's, and their positions in the company ran the parks quite well. There was a very small chain of command. Now it seems, there are many "outsiders", invented positions, and a slight "loss of touch" that ran the park through the 70's-90's. Heck, I couldn't even name the president, VP, or any of the chain-of-command anymore. What would really be sad is if they became a publically traded company. I know, a bit off topic. -
Kennywood (KW) Discussion Thread

You don't need to be financially strapped to get a grant. Look at all the oil companies. Kennywood was very smart in announcing their expansion plans quite early. Being that it would have such a positive impact on the area, I won't be surprised to see more grants headed their way. Let's face it, Allegheny County needs all the help they can get. Kennywood is probably the only thing worth seeing there as a tourist. -
I could go on about whom I wish I could get a coaster-date with, but I think I'll just keep my fingers tied.

I felt like Robb was thinking of me when he included the nurse action figure. This site is so inclusive, I'm so touched. Someone hand me a tissue. -

When I was four, I was leaning back in my chair at the dinner table while eating with a fork. I fell backward, and stabbed myself in the upper-lip. 5 stitches. I still have the scar. My arms used to pull our of socket while playing ring-around-the-rosie with my sister. (This happened until I was about 5.) ER visits all the time! Bike accidents galore! I have a fake knee, gravel under my scalp, and a piece of metal shrapnal in my right middle finger. I was electricuted once by sticking wires into a electical socket, taped to a battery. My theory (at age 6) was to recharge the battery. As a photo developer, I got electro-burns by a disposible camera while disassembling it, while it was charged for a flash. (There are now instructions on the net to make a stun gun out of this! it's VERY painful!) Sister flipped me head first into a marble floor. No blood, but was kept for 2 days for observation. Gee, I could keep going on. I should write a book. -

I never liked AB beers, the lights taste so watery, and everything else tastes like chewing on aluminum foil from the bottom of a used roast pan! -

After Visiting Kennywood in 2004 after a 4 year absence, I actually felt the same way that everyone is talking about here about Dorney. When you start taking out really old things that have been there for years, the park starts to lose it's charm, and becomes corporate and plastic, which is a real turn-off for me. I love parks that have an old charm to them. It's a shame CF is doing this to it's parks.

I'm with you! During my 6 years on the west coast, I experienced 5 EQ's, it doesn't matter how strong or weak they are, if you feel it, it just creeps the hell out of you.

As a former casino professional in Vegas, there are not generators to back up slot machines. Each machine has a back-up battery to remember credits, that's it.
