  2. Yofi! (Hebrew!)
  3. Dude, that's next year's winner for the TPR video contest! Hands down! (Or up!)
  4. I always love learning about amusement parks in odd places, and I have an interest in Israel/Tel Aviv. Fantastic pictures, thanks for sharing.
  5. , I need some coffee...
  6. I just installed OpenArena, the open source Quake3. Works really well on my POS laptop! Can you tell i'm not a gamer.
  7. Has anyone have the video yet? It is going to be released, its a matter of when. (Be warned, Digg was FULL of fake videos last night, the real one will discredit all of them.)
  8. Steel Phantom to Phantom's Revenge was a HUGE improvement.
  9. Hey, they got the paint on sale and are using it before its expiration date! Lets face it, the original color was UGLY! I say its nothing but a visual improvement, and nothing more. Everyone is making a big news story out of a decorating decision. And if anyone knows about decorating... (Pull out your stereotype dictionaries... ...NOW!)
  10. OMG, a ride that isn't listed on the Flat Joint! Looks fun!
  11. Even after rehab though, their version was a carney-portable, and it rode like one. They got it used to begin with. (I remember riding it on it's very first day of operation....sigh) Does anyone have a picture of there the swing around was? Did they tear down the platform it was on?
  12. WOW! What a unique looking experience. I think this can not only be fun, but has lots of major potential.
  13. OMFG! That is hysterical! That cannot be a real web site. It can, but it's too funny!
  14. This was a shocker to me this morning, but James Brown died in a hospital after entering for treatment for pneumonia. I personally didn't like the man, because of the things he did in his personal life, but he was the godfather of soul, and the granddaddy of the digital sample. (Artists sample James Brown more than any other artist! CHA-CHING!)
  15. Wow, they removed Swing Around? After they just re-habbed it? What did they replace it with?
  16. Oh wow! I rode on PKI's in it's final year. I do remember the original model had a cockpit windshield, which was removed in later installations. There were a few accidents where people didn't sit properly, and fell out, since the only restraint was a OTSR, and a small bar to put your feet under. The big issue being with the foot bar, if you didn't put your feet under it, you could "flail" your legs out of the car while upside-down.
  17. I probably had the most miserable year here. (As far as coasters are concerned.) Track record for 2006... ZERO!
  18. Wow, your report just made me realize how much vegas has changed since I lived there. (I kinda miss it, sniff)
  19. It's definitely a Mega-Disk-O. http://www.zamperla.it/download/video/pdf/megadisko40.mpg
  20. Kennywood donates their's to Project:Bundle-up, a local coats for kids charity. At least, they did when I worked there.
  21. I'm curious to know who in the heck bought Thriller!?!?!?!?
  22. OK, this will freak out all the YCDTOT fans.... http://www.ycdtotv.com/ I found this a couple years ago looking for answers to a trivia question. And yes, Allanis Moreset is on here! Other shows on nick.... -Going Great, with Chris Megpeace (There's an actor that was in everything in the early 80's, then died off!) -The Third Eye -Clarissa -Don't Just Sit There -Livewire -NickNews -Out of Control -Sprots Cartoon (which was before they played commercials, they played these small cartoon shorts between shows, since the regular shows were only 24 minutes commercial free.)
  23. I'm not into it. I'll wait till it's on cable. I like Elissa's take on it.
  24. I dunno, I think a 600 foot coaster would be a bigger draw. I'm sure one revolution on this baby will cost a ton-o-tourist-dollah! I'd rather pay to be scared half to death, than to be bored half to death.
  25. Actually, it's almost the exact design on the one that was supposed to be built in Las Vegas. First at GoldKey, then at Rio, then Westward Ho.... this thing is really getting passed on.
