Hi R&E! I have one of your DVDs already, and am ready to take advantage of your sale. There's only one problem. My new laptop DVD drive SCRAPES disks with stickers on them. (They're too thick and not even-weighted) Is it possible to order DVDs without any labeling on the disks? I'm still going to order, just wanted to know if this was possible. thanks for running such a wonderful site! Dennis

Here's my update! I'm pretty much done with trying to lose weight, but I have been sticking to a new way of eating. My "best friend" (who is a weightlifter) wants to start training me. I kinda want to at this point, this diet was so worth it! 45 pounds, GONE!

^Wonder if we got the same laptop.

Well, he won't get his wish. At least part of it. The FAA banned lasers in with in a 25 mile radius of the airport back in the 90's when all the casinos had lasers all over the place. The one at the Stratosphere used to beam into my condo.

Well, I got a new computer for my birthday on Wednesday, with Vista on it. It's a high-end machine, and handles Vista beautifully. I love it personally. I have it hooked up to the 26" Hi-Def via HDMI, cause I work on it 16 hours a day, and I'm into the "pretty" functions, and I love Areo! Not to mention, the tivo-like functions on it rock, I love pausing TV The only thing negative I can find about it is that some old software doesn't work on it, but that's ok, the office will pay for all new stuff for me.

Well, I have been on a "diet" for 2 months now, that I may just keep for life. I have never been so successful at weightloss. February 1, 2007 I weighed in at 195 March 26, 2007, I now weigh 165!!!!!!! 30 pounds, just GONE! It's an incredible transformation. Here's what I did. ELIMINATED SUGAR! When I say this, I mean granulated sugar, and anything that's available as "sugar free", I choose that. Switched to diet soda, my biggest problem. It's impossible to TOTALLY eliminate sugar, ie. fruit, and sugar in nature is needed. Eating during the day is very different for me now, and it works well. Dinner is the only full meal I have. The rest of the day, when I feel hungry, I snack on healthy things, such as a piece of fruit, fatfree light flavored yogurt, a slice or 2 of fat free luncheon meat, fruit cup, etc. I don't worry what's for dinner, I eat what I want. But since loosing the weight, I find myself eating a lot less at dinner, and getting full faster. Now, when I start to feel full, I stop eating. It's like I can't over-eat. I used to be able to scarf down 4-5 pieces of pizza. 2 big slices is my max now. And I struggle to eat that without feeling bloated. So how did I get off sugar? Strange, but true.... I started with drinking a flavored diet soda. (Lime diet Pepsi) As with anyone not used to diet soda, aftertaste sucks. But with a flavored version, it's tolerable, and the aftertaste seems like it comes from the flavoring, not the artificial sweetner. So, after 3 days of diet lime, diet lemon, and pepsi Jazz, I went and tried regular diet pepsi. TOTAL SHOCK! I couldn't taste the sweetner. From then on, I used the same sweetner in my coffee and other foods. (Aspertame=Nutrasweet=Equal). Now totally converted with no aftertaste! Just posted this incase someone else might wanna try this! I'm still in shock I'm off sugar, and so skinny!

Before there was an actual name for these things, I've ridden in one of these bubbles. They are fun. Doesn't look like those zig-zag tracks will hold them, but you really cant tell the size from the photos.

I wish theme parks in this country would illuminate their rides like carnivals/fairs do. I think that's why I loved living in Vegas so much, lights are pretty! -

UhOh! There's a problem. Kennywood is claiming it's new ride is a MegaDisko. Well, if it only seats 24 passengers as in the press release, it's not a MegaDisko, it's a Disko. MegaDisko seats 40. -

Glad someone seems to know something. LOL I don't think I've ever personally experienced a Zierer ride. (Heck, I have yet to ride an Intamin!!!) I'm sure maybe one of their spin-n-barfs, but unknown to me. -

Great question! My impression: Money. Technically, they can build the entire ride as a 2-rail, I'm assuming Zeier (sp) gives a 3-rail and 4-rail option for those that want to spend more, it's more durable, and less likely to be retracked in 10 years. (And probably gives a better ride.) The more money you want to spend on the ride, the more 3/4-rail track you get. This ride obviously was on a budget, and they only worried about the major high points of the ride. (Which would be the most difficult to replace and maintain.) Just some thoughts, no facts... -

I think they could have done a better job, but I guess they have to stay rated-PG. (Though, I'm shocked at all the rated-R content on cable stations now!)
