Carowinds Discussion Thread

^ I can see that happening since it is on a dead end and it wasn't much (if anything) back there. Due to the ride lines, its painfully obvious that they need something to spread the crowds out of the lines. Upon reflecting back, I think all the flat rides were actually open. With the demographic of the crowd I saw, I don't know if even opening up some more coasters would even help since I saw more families with kids who weren't tall enough for some of them (the coasters). How are the coaster lines at the parks that have them open vs the flat ride lines? -

Lightning Rod and I barely remember the ride! Everything was a blur in a good way lol. -

So I finally got to ride Lightning Rod. First, I ALMOST didn't make as I struggled with the seatbelt. Held up the train and all but it finally clicked. RMC sure did humble my ass so off to the gym I go . . . -

Been there. Done that. Now what?
jarmor replied to coasterBro's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah, anytime a hobby becomes this stressful then just walk away from it. You're over thinking and over doing it bro. Try finding people to enjoy going the parks with but the attitude you have shown (in one post) towards . . . good luck. But to answer your initial question if you've reached the end of your enthusiasm I would say yes because you don't sound enthusiastic about going to the parks and just enjoying them for face value at all. -
Six Flags America (SFA) Discussion Thread

Most likely not. Higher ups in the parks have said its not feasible due to plumbing and the environmental laws. One thing I have learned is parks can say one thing today, and do a totally different thing tomorrow. -

Kinda hard to call it so i'm gonna say, for sure, Carowinds. -
Best Roller Coaster you rode THIS MONTH!
jarmor replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The best coaster i've ridden this month is a tie between Montu and Mako. Montu just surprises me how well it runs being so old. I would follow up with the second best being Ghostrider. -

Yes. They were taken out for the new Camp Snoopy expansion and place into storage. It's been a interesting for them as it was alleged they were returning this year then it seemed plans were off the table and things got silent. It seems they made the decision to bring them back with Copperhead strike. The first time this ride gets a new lease on life in the same park lol. -
^ I was definitely pleasantly surprised for it! Darks rides are, to me, a rarity at large chain parks so I was very pleased. Headed back to San Antonio to experience Fiesta Texas! Let me say I LOVE water parks . . . But to my dismay, the new water coaster wasn't ready! Oh well, maybe next time. Well, i'm here. Oh, here I am . . . I think i'm gonna pass. [ I really like the environment of this park . . . attachment=9]IMG_20170520_1044488.jpg[/attachment] Character spotting! Ok, i'm gonna be honest lol the real reason i'm here! And . . . My interest in rattler started with the movie blank check (as i'm sure most of you too) and now look at it! Just incase you needed a reminder. Lets go! Overall I really liked it. I think I liked it more than NTG but that could be because I had multi rides on it vs the one on NTG. DId I mention I loved the setting of this park? Hi . . . These things are every where! The one that started it all. And the most photogenic (to me) of all floorless coasters. *proof* I have to say, despite the on and off thunderstorms I have a very enjoyable time at SFFT and cant want to go back.

May 19, 2017 . . . Found a great RT flight to San Antonio so I figured it was a good idea to take advantage of the texas parks! First stop . . . Six Flags over Texas, where it all began! But first, this lookED promising. Ok, let's get back. . . Despite several school groups being at the park, I figured i'd make the best of it. Just in case you didn't know what year it was. So far i'm digging the park! To my suprise, I totally forgot this park has a justice league dark ride. For it being my very first one, I was really impressed with the entire experience. Lot's of big towers here . . . For some reason, Panda Express inside parks taste so good to me . . . But forget that, I spy something much more pleasing . . . The one that started it all! And me! Such a pity they were only running one train! But overall I liked it. See. Lets move on to another texas legend. I was surprised again to see another dark ride at the park! Just look at it. I was really looking forward to shockwave! And it didn't disappoint! Heading into what may be one of the best Gotham City's I may get my chance to test out the new Joker! With no line! Which makes me happy. Not sure if i'm still in Gotham or not but . . And they "duel"! For the longest I always wanted to ride a Mr' Freeze coaster. They were created during my development of my love for coasters and I finally got that chance! Overall had a great day at the park, despite that droves of kids that had no care in the world. See you in the next update. But first . . . After hearing so much about them, I had to check out WhatAburger. I was highly satisfied! I would say I need one back home but will take away the charm . . .
