Another coaster this soon?

White water falls didn't get that and Rapids won't either. They are not significant rides.

You're not gonna get a "by the way, our rapids didn't open this year" announcement. It's gone and there will probably never be anything spoken of it again.

It's been several that don't follow a linear path lately. like this one at Hershey park . . .

I think it will forever stay at the studios for now on.

Kings Island and Kings Dominion both have announcements Thursday. I would venture to guess that Cedar Fair will do all announcements then. Could be a coincidence as California's Great America has already made their announcement.

Isn't most of everything at SF lost in the tree line, especially Mind bender?

Wait, people thought they would get a coaster like a year after their last one???

It's time for Cedar Fair to explore water coasters in general..... Oh but they have! They already have one in their chain of properties . . .

Why do you think they would have did that?

From reading around, the hub will be a part of the park and not open to the public. It seems to have a space/exploration theme as it appears to have several rides/attractions, most notably the dueling coaster.

I think the fact that they are building an major coaster in the current jurassic park section of IOA is evident enough that some changes are coming to that area. The good thing is they have more space to do it justice at IOA than they had to work with at USH.

Yeah, I definitely doubt this is "spot on" but it is a very pretty picture to look at. That could be the very reason why they didn't announce any concrete info as they are probably pas the preliminary stage but still nothing is 100% final. Now, I wonder who they are going with for the coasters! It doesn't seem to be big large coasters heavy like IOA and I only spot like 4 in the rendering.

While I doubt this is a full, 1-to-1 of what is coming I really doubt park chains are in the business of releasing fake renderings. But this seems to come up everything a plan is leaked or not much is announced so . . .

This is a great point because they wouldn't duel them even with metal detectors. I guess it's suddenly okay now. I guess because it made national news?? Didn't the person get messed up pretty bad?

^we all know why they removed dragons lol I am getting Disney Seas vibes from this park! Really excited about the Monsters and Nintendo land!! I will be spending a lot of time on that side of the park. The area on the lower right looks to be the dreamworks area as it looks more "kidish". Can't wait for more to be revealed

It's not called stay and scream "officially" anymore. If you are in the park, you are able to stay in several holding areas. The holding area you end up in determines which house you can enter before HHN opens. The park offers a rush of fear pass good for every night the first few weeks, but honestly, if you get on the 8th you have that sun night of HHN and no more HHN until that thursday. May wanna come later in the week?

From the leaked layout, Doesn't look like any large indoor sections for that type of curvature. Also, it appears (from my email) that an EPIC announcement will happen this Thursday, Aug 1st. Wonder if it's announcing the new park?

In regards to retracking Wildcat, wasn't Ghostrider in a pretty bad shape and the full retrack really brought life to it? There was some slight re-profiling as well but I think a retracking could also do it wonders too.

But do people really miss it? It wasn't taken out just to take out. It was problematic right? From my understand it was a long, boring trek to the lift then just a drop?

I don't know. I can't see them getting rid of a ride only to get the exact same thing with an extended layout . . . I can see them getting some from MACK before intamin though.

Will they finally get a body slide tower? How about some drop box slides?!?!?

From my understanding, the parks don't really care about things like leaks and chatter on the internet. It's all buzz that works in the parks favor as we never really get everything right anyway until they announce it.
