Not at Carowinds. They have taken place on days the park has been closed to the public. or either they just announce via social media like they did with camp snoopy. -

Since the park is open, it may be a public thing. I think they did Banshee in a way the public could be there that night. -

Do they really need to tease? I miss the days when parks just announced things. -

Hummm, with big wave bay leaving I wonder if they will expand back in that area or keep it blocked off with a new attraction in the same spot? -

As long as you get to the water park in the morning and do the drop slide tower, the bowl/wall slide tower then the speed slides, you would be alright. But note, not sure of your size but virtually all the slides have a 250lb weight limit. -

Actually, the distance from station to station at Carowinds is about 1900+/-ft, at Wonderland 2000+/-ft and at KI it should be around 1500+/-ft. So technically they will all be around the same linear distance from each other. Not as strange as you think . . . -
She isn't just "one person not even in the industry", she is the saving grace behind Universal lol. Before potter, the park was basically giving away the gate. You could easily get a reservation at the big three hotels and the rates were pretty good. Pre-potter had universal selling off it's land. Post-potter brought in 5 additional hotels, a water park, more immersive areas at the parks and soon to be an entire new park. Potter has showed universal what people like and how to execute it. So, while I would personally have dragons I cannot just write J.K. Rowling off as being one person not in the industry. I'm willing to bet she gave them a time frame to develop something to replace it.

The layout I saw seemed like it transfer tracked into a launch that went half way up then backwards launched up a spike then completed the layout. That could be the plunge the reference? -

Unfortunately they have changed that process. I was able to score several free nights at Caesars Palace in the laurel collection last dec and I was glad to only have to pay the resort fees but now, they aren't giving any rooms away unless you reach a particular amount of tier credits. I would also sign up for the Venetians grazie program as well as M life at MGM. I stayed at the Venetian once and they are always sending heavy discounted rates and other perks (one of, if not the most, gorgeous resorts on the strip) and I use the M life perks for show tickets. -

I definitely get what you are saying. One of the reasons I don't play is because the machines tend to be very confusing. At times I have no idea what i am looking at with all the "ways" you can win lol. They say win 12 ways then you realize you're paying 10 dollars for one press of a button and still lose! I think if they become more forthcoming with programs to help you learn the table games I would be more comfortable playing them as I have never played poker a day in my life but I love Vegas. -

I mean hey, i'm just going by what the articles are saying and that seems to be some of the common reasons across the board. I can only personally speak for myself and say that out of the 3 times I went last year I may have spent a collective of 100.00 gambling. Compare that to the 117.00 I spent on one meal. At 37 i'm not too sure if I would be considered a millennial but I def don't go to Vegas for slots. -

I have seen that too. I have seen a common reason is online gambling, millennials not really into gambling, the parking fees keeping away the locals, the lack of baccarat and diminishing Asian visitors. I have seen some unwanted changes especially to Caesars rewards program. Just last year I was able to find plenty free options for night stays but this year they changed to one night per 5,000 tier credits. I'm better off just going to one of the other properties and securing a lower hotel rate than being loyal to Caesars. -

It's almost like these venues are hoping the attractions close. Is anyone really going to vegas for JUST gambling anymore? -

Shocked no one has created a **new** nolimits rendition since the release of the actual plans. -

I am no engineer but I don't know if the stress of the forces would be suitable for a wing coaster car. The stress on a wing coaster train has nothing to do with the height or drop of the ride the train is mounted on. It's all in the design of the ride itself. You can design a 400ft coaster that puts less stress on the train than a 100ft ride if you so desire. Ok, i'll update . . . without it having a long, drawn out layout to reduce the forces. -

You do? I, personally, have not ran into anyone at carowinds who feels like that. I have ran into people who prefer one over the other and they both seem to keep a line so I don't think as many people as you think find it weird and virtually everyone is glad that they both are in the same park as they offer two totally different experiences. -
Yeah budget wise, Disney isn't just a place you just GO to. It's generally a once in a few years thing for some. If you have the time I would also check out Belmont park in San Diego. Free to park, free to enter just pay per ride. It has one of the classic big dipper coasters. Roughly an hour and a half from knotts.
