Woman Accused of Pretending to be Katrina Victim MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a Georgia woman faces felony theft charges after lying about being an evacuee from New Orleans, receiving money from the American Red Cross and getting a good Samaritan to take her into her home. Police arrested 36-year-old Beretta Jo Hogg on Saturday and charged her with theft by deception. According to police, Hogg showed up at a relief shelter in Marietta with her 8-year-old son. She claimed to have lost everything in the hurricane. Hogg waited in line, filled out the paperwork, and was given $1,300 in aid. A woman who felt sorry for Hogg took her and her son into her own home. However, the son told the woman he attended school in Stone Mountain. The woman called authorities and Hogg was arrested and taken to jail. Moral of the story...

im just browsing trying to find a flight to orlando for HHN and the other day i saw a one way flight for like 78.00 (only need oneway riding back w/ a friend) And now tonight I see flights for like almost double that for one way! I was told onece before that you should buy tickets at particular times but I wondered if that was true...

wow...its seems like from our standpoint six flags isnt doing great but I wonder what are going thru their minds. What I mean about that is I wonder if they actually dont care and are glad to sell the parks or if they are hurt but are left with no choice...

You know what, I went to the park on two consecutive days in the offseason (this may) and every attraction was working. Now should I consider myself lucky? The only attraction that happen to have some downtime was sea coaster and it was posted outside the park that the attraction was not operating (although it was on and off). And I do think SFA is pretty well themed. At the time there was no gotham city or dc comics area but are you gonna let one ride thats "miss placed" make the determination that the park isnt well themed... Excuse me for being the devil's advocate but is attendance lacking at the park...I really dont think so :? . It seems that even after loosing 2 coasters the attendance is still the same if not rising due to the demand of waterparks. Now it would be nice if the park got a coaster but I dont think its "needed". Just make boombay larger w/ more slides and wave pool and there set!

Well I wouldnt count SFA as a mistake. They have a pretty diverse collection of coasters and and a good collection of flats. The park is pretty well themed and have some of the best looking tea cups I have seen anywhere! Its a pretty easy navigatiable park and not to mention the kick ass water park thats also included in the admission. Blizzard river is enough to get me back in the park, that is one of the most fun rides I have ever been on. Now what I didn't really care for are SOME of the employees, not all, but some of the employees act like they didnt really care about their job but it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch in todays society but overall I liked the park!

Due to the company switch paramount parks are still (well in the final stages) of getting everything together and anouncements should be comming soon...

Aww, its not that bad, its just a little rough after the first drop, but after that its really fun! Oh and Ninja wasn't a failure, and Im sure it was pretty smooth when it was first built in NJ, I was too young too remember when they relocated it here, but Im sure it wasn't as bad as it is now, and I don't even think its that bad. Same goes for Dahlonega Mine Train, there is nothing wrong with it, besides its almost 40 years old. Dahlonega mine train just have some of the roughest transitions I have ever seen on such a small coaster. I guess after we got spoiled w/ B&M coasters and intamin coaster, alot of coasters seem a tad bit rougher now a day then usual...

I think its cool how parks are now participating in the speculation and rumor flying thing of it! It strikes more intrest in the park, well I think so...

Ok here are some shots of my space. I sit right by oen of the entrance doors and people are always stoping and asking me do I like roller coasters, and quite naturally I tell them no! My space keeps me sane when disgruntal people are bitching about nothing but then say their blood pressure is high...im like quit yelling and im sure it will drop a notch or 2. Well here ya go!! Of course you have to have to green life in your office space so here is my flower and my custom design flower pot! you can even see the coaster comming around from the left! The "core" corner is where the focal point is in my cube. It has another of my coaster models and some pictures of me and my cute little cousin! The top view of that same wall but you can see the top of the coaster calendar as well as one of my coaster models! my coaster calendar and my invitation! when it gets really boring I just grab one of my coaster mags and read. Also you can kinda get a glance of the homepage of the website im working on! I consider this the boring corner right now since I havent put anything in it since the move a month ago... One of the walls. If you havent noticed I kinda like myself and have basically only pictures of myself up...with the occasional roller coaster picture! This is one corner of my cub. I wanted to cover up the console and since I just moved AGAIN like a month ago instead of the photocopied images from the net I decided to go the collage way w/ my own pictures! See if you can figure out where I work!! This is like my 'FYI" board showing off the park and things. This is the first thing people see when they walk in the "floor" area. What a pleasant site!
