it all depends on what you are looking for. if you want thrilling coasters go to SFA if you want somewhat thrilling coasters and a themed enviroment go to PKD if you want a well themed enviroment w/ min. thrill rides then BGW is your choice.

well I would also consider kings dominion and six flags america if you guys are looking for lots of thrills!

hate to break it to ya but all B&M speed coasters (as what they were called when they first came out) are listed under "mega coaster" on RCDB.com lol lol

looking at THIS picture you can see the supports dont go in the road but rather by the tram path. I think the road is narrow enough and B&M track is strong enough to not have a support in the middle of the road...

What coaster are you looking at because I see trees, lakes and thats all. I see a entrance road going thru TO the parking lot, but sorry this coaster is like 90% built over dirt and trees...

I dont know but why is it that some people just cant be happy that a park is finally getting what they feel is their monumental coaster. Instead I have to sort thru the "its placement is horrible" and the "I was expecting more (thats what you get for having outlandish expectations)" and the "why are they using that name again". C'mon people its a new ride lets just enjoy it and wait until it opens to talk smack!

probably because if the land elevation and the height clerance...remember it has to travel over existing rides and buildings inside the park but only has the road to worry about outside the park...

I was just thinking, after looking at the layout (the overhead version) and after reading that it starting where the great gasp was AND the fact that this coaster is basically built over everything I think in order for this coaster to work the way they wanted it to, great gasp had to go. Now looking at a business stand point, I can see how they felt that they didnt want to "work" around great gasp and instead it was more efficent to scrape it then to work around it. Now as the GP I think they could have worked around it but after looking at how conjested that area is.... Jarvis "hey, if SFoG can build a hyper over existing rides and buildings...why cant IOA?" I think they didnt think the coaster would make a huge impact when you have something much taller right next to it. But still, I think it was a bad move also! Jarvis "laughs at everyone saying it was gonna be a 225, more or less, drop thru tunnels and other crap!" Morant

its the main road to the parking lot. see six flags over georgia is different. You have to drive past the entrance to get to the parking lot which is think is pretty cool!

Personally I feel a little sadden when any park, good or bad, closes. Water mania was my first stand alone water park and It was fun to me. Every park doesnt have the capital to be BB or TL in quality especially if its family owned. I appreciated them for being open for as long as it did.

Personally I dont see anything wrong w/ what disney is doing. Whats the problem w/ building the exact theme park thousands of miles away in a completely different culture. I think the people whinning and complaining are us that **Know** that there another park just l like it here and there and everywhere but do you think they will be complaining. Half of the people in the world dont even leave their state or provience or territory let alone leave the country, and to visit a theme park like some of us do so I feel what disney is doing is great and cost efficent. Now I can see if they were plopping MK's in every other state then that would be another story but thats not the case...
