Oh...I know all about going to both parks in one day in the first week of october! Thats why I decided to do it again and hit up HHN at the same time. I just didn't know if I should stay or not onsite...But from the way it looks and sounds im going back to the hojo lol lol. They seem to have round the clock shuttles and even transportation from HHN at nights too! Jarvis "thanks guys for your input" Morant

LOL LOL I smell a closed thread. I cant speak for the alveys but I know when I did my SFoG DVD and my SFoG - the take over video (this one was unscripted and was just a friend of mines and me at the park playing around) I recycled some of the footage I did for the first DVD but only recycled the coaster footage and remastered it to feature onride footage w/ us in it. So what im saying is that its not a bad pratice to use the same footage more than once as long as it isnt used the exact same way... Jarvis "will use the same footage until the ride is removed, and still will consider using it for another park w/ the same ride" Morant!

Im confused...why would it not be a good thing to record in a high quality DVD format? And also when editing, you have the choice to format it in any quality you want, from mpeg-1 to quicktime to avi...it just records in the highest quality. I kinda dont see the "bad side" of this... Im quite impressed and when I show folks my DVD's and show them what I used to make it, they are always in semi shock that such a small piece of equipment made such a professional looking DVD...

Its funny because im using a JVC camera to film all my videos and I have had nothing but positive results. The color realism is awesome, perfect in low light situations (doesnt even have a lamp but films like it was super bright), havent had a major problem w/ the camera, it has had its fair share of beatings since I got it in feburary and for the size of it takes them pretty well. At first I was skeptical about getting the camera but after playing around with it, I am absolutely glad I brought that camera instead of the other I was considering. Now my JVC is totally different from the ones that im sure the others on here have. Mines is a digital recorder that records straight to a 4 GB microdrive which makes transfering my footage a one step process being that my PC is equipted with a microdrive driver. And being that its digital the quality of the video is very similar to that of a professional type show! So with that said I have to say, its not about how much you wanna spend (paid like 1200.00 for mines) but what you want in a camera. You just cant put a price on good products! But I understand what you mean but remember, you get what you pay for! But do your homework and do some research! Thanks for replying, im going the first week of OCT and I have been before and it was not busy at all. Im talking about both parks in the same day by 4pm. I stayed at the hojo last time but I was wondering if I would benefit from staying onsite but I guess I maybe at the HOJO unless someone comes up w/ a good reason to stay onsite! Im debating if I should stay onsite or offsite. I really want to stay onsite but im gonna be going alone and knowing that I could have gotten like 4 nights at the howard johnson less than a mile away for the same price for one night at a universal resort. What are your suggestions...

Honestly, Its cool but its almost like every other coaster video out there. I kinda didnt like the speeded up POV because it was always a tad bit shakey but it made it worst w/ the speeding up. The clips were a tad bit too short and and the ramdomness of the shots could have been better if you had to combine the several 2 and 3 second shots of the same thing together and make it longer, in my opinion, it would have been better. Also this is just me but I got the vibe that those people looked like they werent all that thrilled to be filmed. Now the good things is that you have a good collection of shots of the park which is a major plus instead of focusing on just the coasters!The park looks like a fun place especially with all the what looks to be a great assortment of all the classic flat rides. Thanks for being an outlet for the community!
