LMAO A friend of mine posted this on facebook today...totally random and has no idea what SFMM even is!!!!

No, see, this is the first ever "Top Hat at 160 feet." This really opens the door for future marketing on virtually ANY attraction. "First ever 192.5' lift hill on a wooden coaster!" "First ever 80' circumference loop!" or "First ever coaster to decelerate to zero in under 5 seconds!" In all seriousness though the ride looks better and better with each piece of track they install! Getting excited! What in the hell do Dragster and Kingda Ka have if they aren't top hats? They are 400 + feet??? What makes 160 feet so special....

Add to that Mr. Shine keeps a pretty informative and educational facebook page! If anyone has never seen it they should check it out, it is really good!

Has anyone ever liked any of the dorms that are actually out on the point? I've always heard horror stories. Not that the other dorms were that much better. Haha probably not. I'm being facetious anyways. Spent the summer of 93 in the dorms......and oh yeah if those walls could talk....LOL.

Quite frankly I was just expressing my own view on how bright and stand-outish looking the seatbelts were. I was not complaining thank you.

Wow, those seat belts are pretty tacky looking. The could've at least made them compliment the ride color wise......

"Main coaster"? What are you going on about? Do Storm Runner, Fahrenheit, Lightning Racer, Sooperdooperlooper, Comet, and Wildcat suddenly not matter anymore? Tell you what, I'll go in for Springtime and ride those coasters and you can stay home. I was thinking the same thing. I am just thankful they even do this event. Been there in years past and it is an awesome time. Minimal crowds and not hot and humid like summertime!!!!!

It has been neutered quite bad. It really used to haul and toss you around a good bit. The final helix would just about shake your teeth out.

Back in the days before internet(yes I am older) we used to get TV commercials that showed nothing but maybe a logo and that was it. The anticipation build up was so much greater than what it is today. I kinda miss having to wait for the trip to the parks for the first glimpse of a new attraction. Now we already know every in and out of a ride before it even opens. Stop bitching about an animated POV and be thankful that they even showed a layout.

Just got my "Mitch" BOC today....awesome as usual. Lots of non-English paraphenalia, mints, a DVD, and the almighty TPR pen!!! Huge gratuitous thanx to Robb and Elissa for the things like this that set TPR apart from any other organization in the world!

I was thinking the same. I would imagine it was kinda hard to narrow it down to the final few.

Don't want to blow all your space in one installment...I can see them taking a few years to fill out this area for long-term growth.

It looks too short from station to lift......kinda funny looking in a way.

^Not a problem in Japan..........However I couldn't imagine trying to have fun in the cold on any ride.
