By the looks of the weather channel you might not have to worry about misters!! There are some severe T-storms just about to land there in the next little bit.

Hershey has always seemed to be packed to the gills with people, but the ride lines never seemed so bad. I have had visits where you could hardly walk around the park because of the people yet never waited more than 15 - 30 minutes for any of the rides???? Kinda weird......

Does anyone know why the Auto Race is not open either??

I have ridden it both indoors and out. Much nicer queing indoors instead of the blazing sun. The kids love it because it is not as scary as the big boy rides next to it. I believe they are coasters as they run on wheels, albeit not necessarily on a "track". I really like the Mack bobsleds better as they utilize the "train" instead of the short awkward looking single car.

Maybe they are there for the adverse weather conditions. Like to keep it at pace during hot summer days, and then off when it is cooler to keep the train moving at the required speed. During halloween and springtime, the temps are pretty cool up that way and sometimes the coasters can't run because of the temps??? Just my 2 cents......

We are going on June 10. That is one of the days they have no special events going on.

Does anyone know off hand the cost of parking? I know that have the free lot at the top, but that is too far with kids and seniors. Do they still do the preferred parking down close?

Tracer lights around the track would look freakin awesome though!!!! ^ Agreed! I miss tracer lights on coasters... 1 nighttime trip to Hersheypark will really make you miss them. They really go all out on their woodies with the tracer lights. It is simply amazing to see.

How could you compare this to Behemoth?! Sure they're both B&M's and have the "out and back" layout but Levi is MUCH longer and looks like it provides some more airtime, and try comparing a 200+ Footer to a 300+ Footer. Have you even ridden Levi? Ride it at least once and then tell us your opinion again. I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't think you should criticize a ride that you probably don't have any experience on... But this is just my opinion.... "Levi" is only 168' longer than Behemoth. The height of the lift is the difference????

A single rider line would so kick ass on this coaster. I can see many trains running less than capacity just for the issues being brought up recently in this thread over who sits where in small groups of people.

I think the race will not make much difference since it is calling for rain Saturday. Can not remember if it is a night race or not. The race is Saturday night. That might make Saturday be the better bet as everyone will be outta there that night and leave almost 100,000 people to contemplate stopping at the park Sunday.......
