We're finally getting a continuation of the Road to CP report??

It looks like it "flows" really well through the turns and such. Looks to be a nice smooth ride that is gonna be a blast to ride. Especially the wait on the bridge not being able to see the bottom of the drop!!

That is what I have been wondering. Also, with the close up of the lift hill, why does the top of the rail look like it has been ran on alot??

Do we know how late in summer? I will be maing my first trip to the park in early July, so hopefull the ride won't be closed by then. They didn't really say a date. They hoped it wouldn't affect their coaster tour with KD/BG.

Volcano will be shutting down late summer for a total station refurb. Adding 3rd train and dual loading/unloading to speed capacity.

I really appreciate Comet's entrance ramp getting "opened" up. Before when it was hot out, it got so stuffy standing in line on the ramp with no air moving behind that wall.

I live in Cumberland and we go to Baltimore a good bit to John Hopkins and the area around that scares the crap out of me!!!! But yeah, I have been to a park, can't remember which one, and my dad who is in his 70's said something to a group of kids who jumped line and they were ready to take him out!!! I was actually concerned because they were some seriously looking shady people. I have been to SFA a bunch of times and never really had a problem with the clientele, same goes for Dorney. I just ind my business, put on a happy face and enjoy myself. I even try to strike up a conversation while in line with people to kinda break the ice so people can see we are all pretty much alike.

Even back in the monorail days to the brewery at BG, where they gave you free beer at the end, it never seemed to create drunks on the loose. As a kid we would tour the brewery, albeit fast, so the elders could get their free booze. After I turned 21 and got to experience it myself, I realized that getting drunk and riding rides was really not a good idea. I don't see a problem with a drink or two during a day as others have stated, it is about families relaxing and enjoying a day out. We drink at home with kids present, but it is done in moderation. I don't think KW would allow people excessive amounts of alcohol to get to a point they were out of control, and if they did, they have the right to eject them from the park. I'll tip my glass to anyone who wants to stop and have a drink during a visit and shoot the breeze for a few minutes!!!!

The Kissing Tower overview pic makes this thing look like it is totally gonna haul ass!!!!!! Also it doesn't really look as tacky and out of place as I first thought it would.......

This is my thoughts on the whole Volcano issue exactly. Just make it fair for everyone and eliminate the ride altogether.

I believe it was stated that this was available for 9 of their coasters. Without the necessity to go look it up right now, is this a "1 time ride" or more than 1 ride on each coaster offer?

Springtime in the Park is less than two weeks away, it's not gonna be up and running even if the trains aren't on the track by now. Don't forget it is also getting a new paint job that looks really sharp by the way. So even if there were trains on site, they wouldn't be able to cycle them for testing.

My score sucked so bad I aint even posting it. I guess I should've read the question better on # 1 and I probably would've done better. It kinda throws you a curve on the first one. It's amazing they still go out and play live. They are one if the most under rated rock bands ever. Now you can see them as Funny Money also!!!

I can say from recent experience that since I have gotten married, my wife is not much of a "let's go all out blazing from ride to ride", and we spend more time meandering around taking in all that the parks have to offer. I really noticed some things about parks that I missed in the past by running rampant from ride to ride. I also agree that nighttime is the best time for any park and CP definitely has the ability to be topnotch with their lighting. They have so much that is up high that it would be nice to see all lit up.

I am actually quite impressed that Comet is going to be open for Springtime! I figured that whole Hollow area would just be closed off for construction.
