  1. After looking at pictures, I can see why you loved it so much. The place looks beautiful. Nice trip report!
  2. We would also love to do a TPR Cruise. It's just the timing and money that is the problem.
  3. I'm starting to get offended by all these "midwest nutjob" remarks. Only about 95% of us are!
  4. I totally forgot about Wendy's! I busted up laughing at that part. He never made it to one, did he?
  5. Cheering when we got a kiddie coaster to rollback. It was tough, but when you get enough TPR members (that are heading to Vegas) together, you can accomplish anything.
  6. Looked like a lot of cool bands. And I'm so glad Malibu from American Gladiators is doing something these days.
  7. Nice report. I miss WDW. Even thou I just went to Disneyland on the West Coast Trip, its just not the same.
  8. I was wondering if that was Chris! Seeing Allison's expression made me chuckle!
  9. There was actually one more picture taken after the mural of candy corn at the Jelly Belly Factory!
  10. Make sure you let me know again! I'm sad that we didn't get to go to the museum with you guys. The place looks awesome.
  11. It was awesome meeting up with you guys in St. Louis. Thanks for inviting us. Too bad we had to work so early on Sunday morning, and an hour and a half drive home, so we couldn't go to the museum with you. And with our luck, we just happened to be trying to leave with all the concert goers! Edit-- I would so love to have Big Bad Wolf at Busch Stadium!!!
  12. We were there today and Demon is on the list. Although we really didn't need to use the Q-Bot since it was basically a walk-on.
  13. I know there is always comments about excessive use of trash cans, but I can understand their reasoning. At my work, there quite a few trash cans around, and people still leave trash just laying around. Now how hard is it to just walk a few feet and put it where it belongs?
  14. I think I have been able to wear my sunglasses (with a strap) on every coaster I've been on except a kiddie coaster at Rye's Stabland...er...Playland. The ride op wouldn't start the ride till I took them off. I mean, come on, it goes what, 15 mph? Like my glasses are going to fly off!
  15. It was running slow last Sunday. But it was also 37 degrees and had snow on it. We always stay at the Days Inn. Its an older hotel but they are usually pretty cheap. They are a little over a mile away on the frontage road and they have a big pool/arcade area with pool tables, air hockey, and shuffle board in the middle of the hotel. Last I knew, they had free breakfast also. Just throwing this out there for the heads up. Boss was not running last weekend and Evel Knievel was running just one train. The other one was torn apart sitting in the transfer area.
  16. Happy Birthday Kristen! Looking forward to seeing you again in August.
  17. We've got something like this in Springfield, Illinois. Knights Action Park I remember as a kid that it started out as a water park with 3 slides and now it has a wave pool, lazy river, a Royal Flush, some kiddie rides, a ferris wheel, and they ended up buying the double drive in and got it running again. I think last year they were promoting that they added a paratrooper, but sadly they don't have any credits.
  18. Ok, you guys got me to try the tilt shift thing. I really like how the Knoebels one came out. Here are a couple that I did. Viper at SFGAm Knoebels from the chairlift.
  19. Here's one I put together after the TPR East Coast Trip. I put 3 pictures together to make a background for my desktop. I didn't even realize Rob and Elissa were on the coaster till I started editing it.
  20. All 3 AT&T Yahoo Version 7.0 Internet Explorer 7.0 1 and 3 were ok but the second one was playing faster than it would download so it kept pausing. Yes, very. Your Welcome.
  21. I'm not sure about everybody, but I know Drew, Chris and I got all of our credits at Dorney. Before we left for SF, all we really had left to get was the mouse credit. We tried to get it before we left (like Robb had suggested) but we had about a half hour before we needed to head back to catch the bus and we stood in line for 5 minutes and didn't even move, so we went and got the kiddie credit and headed out. So when we got back, we got the mouse (after an hour in line), and then Hydra and Talon on ERT. That day turned out to be totally awesome. Having the Q-bots at SF, we got all of our missed credits plus rerides on Nitro and Toro (which was running amazing being warmed up).
  22. Lake Compounce was great! They may not have the biggest and best coasters, (except for Boulder Dash which is tied for my favorite with El Toro) but this was one of my favorite parks on the trip. It has a nice small park feel to it, and has one of the wildest chair swings I've been on.
  23. ^ OMG! Toro was running excellent when we went back for part two. I just wished that the ride op didn't staple the hell out of me so I could have got some airtime. I'm surprised he didn't slap me afterwards.
