  1. Aww that sucks that Idlewild wasn't running at full tilt when you went. As for PPP, haha I'm jealos because I've never been there before. Anyway it's cool that you ran into some people that you knew and I hope the crowds at Fright Nights this Saturday are better, but it is Saturday isn't it? Haha, well we'll have fun because I'll be there with cool people and I've experienced most of the old fun houses over the previous years, so I won't have to spend the entire time waiting in lines.
  2. Haha, I forgot about this topic after 1.6 came out. I just thought of something cool, what if Ole and his buddies from No Limits Fairground combined the rides and coasters. I know that they're steering away from it being like RCT3, but it would make it look more realistic.
  3. Haha, sounds like you had a awesome time. I envy you so much, no not because of the beer , but because I still haven't been to PPP or Knoebels for that matter.
  4. Haha, omg that was freakin halarious. I love the voice acting too, very funny. Although, if you want to get complex, I recommend you using Robb and Elissa's voices from their POV's and tweak the sound so they would sound younger. Actualy, speed up the frequency, so they'll sound like mice. Haha, OMG that'd be awesome, "Robb and Elissa, The Chipmunks"
  5. ^^ Sounds like a good update to me!
  6. Haha, Ole only got me excited for NL2.
  7. Yea, alot of the coasters that are built are really based on a minimum height requirements, so more people, especially families, will ride them. Look at the 1920's, right before the mass extinction of coasters. Around 2000 coasters were built at the height of their existence and then all of a sudden, only 200 were remaining (over a period of 40-50 years ofcourse). All those coasters that were lost weren't all monsters like the Cyclone Racer in Long Beach. Most were small to medium sized coasters and I'm pretty sure that even John A. Miller said that coasters can only go so high and fast.
  8. I love the hang time you experience in the front seat of the Phantom's Revenge. You just hang there for 5 seconds before the rest of the train goes over. Then all of a sudden, swoosh you dive down a high g turn which makes you feel like a fighter jet. It never gets old back seat isn't bad too
  9. That is sad, however it looks like they're being more "gentle" than the guys who took down this coaster. Ocean View Coaster!
  10. Most forceful coaster ever was the Steel Phantom before it was converted to Phantom's Revenge. I think the ride's Boomerang (Batwing) inversion should have been re-named Blackout.
  11. It's always interesting to see how Conneaut Lake Park is doing these days. Haha, I always make a bet to see if they run 3 or 4 cars on the Blue Streak because it tends to change everytime I visit. I'm happy to see the train and tumble bug running, those two rides were absent the last time I was there .
  12. I'm always happy to see a rather popular park run a racer with both sides actualy racing! Nice TR Derek....
  13. I'm glad that you had a good time at the park. It seems like everybody gets to have their own adventure, while at other parks it's more controlled.
  14. I can see a Maurer Söhne Spinning coaster going on a cruise ship.
  15. Haha, awesome pictures you have there. Le Monstre has Le Rattler written all over it!
  16. I guess the random pieces of track near the midway are there to excite guests. Hey, Vekoma POS or not, any coaster is a step in the right direction for any park.
  17. ^ That's funny, in Robb's small 3 parks video, the Jackrabbit was brown.
  18. ^ Good videos pkdcoster, J2 looks awesome, but sounds like in Robb's words "a garbage can rolling down the track" I don't know if that means it's rough, yet I still need to ride it . Btw, I think the Jackrabbit was always painted brown.
  19. I'm off to my first day of college tomorrow at the University of Pittsburgh - Titusville. I'm going to be studying Health Information Management (HIM), but that's not until I transfer to PITT Main in Pittsburgh in 2 years. I have a question, is it normal to feel sick because I feel very tired and my stomach hurts like hell.
  20. Layout looks pretty good... Maximum Height: 50' Length: 1300' Maximum Speed: 35 fps (24 mph) Trains: 2 people per car, 5 cars
  21. There's always room for Kennywood, that's what I always say, lol
  22. ^ It was Tuesday, yea I know they changed their hours of operations because of the Crawford County Fair, but I didn't find out about the new hours until later that night on the news. I was joking about punching the moose thing, CLP's security guard is too nice.
  23. Cool Photo TR, Hershey is always a guaranteed satisfyer.
