^You should be fine as far as getting re-rides on I305. Honestly, it has some of the shortest lines in the whole park, and even if there is one, the ops are usually great as far as getting trains dispatched.

Awesome TR! Those are three parks that are still on my bucket list. Did you do this trip solo? As someone who doesn't know anyone into theme parks and traveling as much as me, I've always wanted to plan a road trip for myself. Either way I end up making friends at theme parks when I visit them alone.

"Eminence Front"-The Who

Alpenguist is one of the smoothest coatsers I've been on (aside from cobra roll and mcbr) but I can't say the same for shockwave. For real. I've not had one single rough ride on Alpengeist since I first rode it six years ago. A small rattle in cobra roll, but nothing even close to it being "super rough and shaky". As for Dominator, I feel like it depends on where you sit. I found the front row a bit on the rough side last year, however the last row was smooth. It's still a much better ride than Shockwave.

Great TR. I'm getting more excited about visiting Holiday World for the first time this year.

A few to add since this thread has been bumped: Great Bear-I don't hear a lot of people talk about this ride very much. This might be third favorite invert behind Alpengeist and Montu. Unique layout with some forceful moments, like the beginning helix. Great ride! Fahrenheit-I almost forgot this ride existed before visiting the park last year. This ride packed a punch, forceful and has a nice moment of airtime near the end. The vertical lift was a very cool experience as well. Avalanche (KD)-For a family coaster, this ride is pretty damn fun. I wonder if Mack ever considers making more of these.

The ride kicks ass in about any seat you ride in, but personally I think the last car provides the best experience IMO.

Nice. Just looking at the pictures, you can definitely tell that area looks more "lively". I might have to make a trip sometime soon.

Great TR so far, can't wait for the rest. It kills me I haven't been to Kennywood or any of the Ohio parks yet. Hopefully next year I'll get to visit at least one of them.

I never have and never will understand why people think Alpengeist is rough. Also I'd much rather have the park keep Anaconda over Shockwave. The last car, front row provides a pretty decent ride, and the only part I actually have to brace myself is the middle of the butterfly section after the MCBR. It actually ran pretty well on the last day of the season last year I thought. Shockwave is a different story. First time I rode it, it left a decent size bruise on my hip. If Shockwave really is the next coaster go, I won't miss it.

^Definitely agree about the park needing more flats. Other than The Claw and Flying Falcon, their flats never stood out to me.

No matter how many times I've ridden Dominator, it's still a kickass ride. It's my second favorite in the park after I305 and I always get a ride on it on my way out.
