  1. I love the classic B&M roar, although most of the newer ones arent that loud. Tatsu was very quiet as was Silver Bullet, now I dont know if them being quiet has something to do with the temp., humidity, how long they are running, etc., but the older B&Ms seem to be louder, like Riddlers, Raptor, and Mantis are VERY loud all the time. I also love the smell of a wooden coaster.
  2. Im just about the only one in my school who likes coasters they way we all do. When I talk about them to my friends about B&M and Intamin they havent a clue what I am talking about.
  3. Its good enough for me...besides I dont play that many games on a computer anyway, all I really play is RCT3 and Battlefield 2. Yea but this computer im on now is a gateway and my previous one was a gateway also and they have never given me any problems so I just stuck with them.
  4. I say no in the beginning but now I say yes because the Iraqis arent strong enough to defend themselves and need more to be trained...and if we leave now all the insurgeons will take over and make it just as bad (if not, worse) as it was before we went in, and that could mean another attack on the US because they are still strong.
  5. Quite a few times I was up all night playing socom 2.
  6. Rod Smart aka "He Hate Me" and my 2 hometown favorites, Joey Porter and Jerome "The Bus" Bettis:
  7. ...Darth Vader was up there in the Death Star and the nails were the only thing that could destroy, but Darth Vader had a secret weapon which was...
  8. X -both 4d coasters -both have raven turns -same manufacturer -same type of trains
  9. Heres the one I just ordered...should be coming any day now. http://gateway.com/products/GConfig/proddetails.asp?system_id=fx510x&seg=hm
  10. My favorite drop ride Theres my favorite...by far the best IMO. But then again I havent been on that many.
  11. Yea I see your point, especially because its curved slightly and at the very end of the peice the flat part ends...so maybe thats the last part of the splashdown when you come out of it.
  12. Phantoms Revenge is a pretty good terrain coaster and my favorite.
  13. Yea I agree with you that the trains probably havent arrived this early...but what is so secret that they have to hide it?
  14. They did propose something sort of like that but the project has been shelved. http://www.gettheloop.com/loopdecember1/loop023.html (scroll about halfway down until you see a pic of the stratosphere and the article titled "Broken Arrow")
  15. Yea that is pretty strange. I wonder whats under the tarp also...possibly a train?
  16. Thats what they said on the news around opening day. They were talking about Swing Shot and said that a small ride like that is fine, but if they would get a bigger attraction it might overpopulate the park and be too crowded.
  17. Thunderbolt at Kennywood because its right out of the station. http://coasterimage.com/pictures/kennywood/thunderbolt02.htm
  18. There is a really good reason why Kennywood doesn't have a B&M coaster to begin with ... they cannot afford it. Kennywood is a great park, but without any MAJOR changes in the way traffic is routed there, their numbers just don't grow. They have been at the million mark for years. Not only can they not afford it, but they dont want to overpopulate a smaller type park like kw.
  19. They didnt say anything we dont already know on the news about Wild Escape, but they did say one thing about KW. They said that KW wont be looking into expanding for about 8 years, so that means no B&M or any new coaster for that matter for maybe 8 years.
  20. well in both links posted it says that the wheeling park will be about 1000 acres...so if someone can find out how big kennywood is, we can see.
  21. I go to Geauga Lake every year and so do a LOT of other people I know...so yes a lot of people DO go to GL from Pitt. As for CP Its not only the draw in Cleveland, I go there every year also and just about every person I know has been to CP at least once. Now Kings Island you are right about, I was there in '98 and '99 only because my cousin lives there...if he had never gone to UC and moved there, I probably wouldn't have went.
  22. You have to put in perspective that there are a lot of senior citizens and kids there and not just people who like to ride all day. Some people just like to sit down and watch a couple shows and only ride the merry-go-round all day. Kennywood is America's number 1 TRADITIONAL amusement park so like I said before there are a lot of seniors there who just want to sit down and relax and watch a show or two and remember what it was like when they were kids who need to take a break and dont ride everything.
