  1. Can't wait to see more pictures of the Lightning Run car. Hopefully it has the chassi on, and not just the body, and then we can see if they are really are using the old track style or not.
  2. That looks really dope if you ask me!!
  3. Yay! It feels like christmas already! Can't wait for the picture of the Proslide models Keep up the good coverage, it's awesome!
  4. I really wonder how much longer the one at Djurs Sommerland will operate. I think I see it down more than open. It's such a shame, as they really are the perfect family thrill ride, if you overlook their price and reliability.
  5. ^ They will also use the land of the go-kart course, and the are behind Chang, were it was only trees and grass before.
  6. Huss has made some really kick-ass rides in the past, and a few of them are still in production today as well. The main problem with the company, is that since the crisis and new ownership in 2006, the company hasn't really done anything new. In order to keep selling lots of rides and be competitive you need to always develop new rides. This new company also did have some problems with warranty's of rides sold by the former ownership, making those customers looking for other suppliers for future rides. The company has sold quite a few rides in Asia lately, and I'm guessing that's what keeping them alive still. I love most things they do, even though I'm a Zamperla and Mondial guy, and I really hope they can come up with some cool new concepts in the future.
  7. There is some new stuff here https://www.facebook.com/pages/Shanes-Amusement-Attic/412595505472065 Otherwise I'm guessing he is extremely busy right now trying to get his new water park open.
  8. How does the prices for HW compare to the new KK? I have never been able to get into their website.
  9. ^ It's hard to say until anyone have actually ridden it, and can compare it to the Megalite's, so we will have to wait and see. But judging by the video, I don't think so.
  10. No, sorry. Megalite is not a name for hyper coasters around 100 feet tall, it is Intamin's own name for the specific model that is the Megalite.
  11. I think the new coaster looks a bit meh to be honest, but check out that pricing for the season pass, that is an incredible value! Can't wait to follow the water park construction. I don't really see the drop tower as a problem, because of the accident. If anyone would bring it up, Ed would just blame it on the bad maintenance of Six Flags, and most people would probably accept that answer, and be happy with it. Well it says America's tallest speed slide when I look at the site. I imagine it will be a clone of the new slide that went in at Port Aventura this year, maybe slightly taller. Edit: I see it now, it's says different things on different places on the site. Hopefully they get it sorted out soon.
  12. Looks awesome! After zooming in the picture, it looks to be an all Whitewater project, which is awesome!
  13. I'm not sure what to think about this one. I imagine it will turn out pretty different from the pictures so far, because that is just dangerous, when you look at some of the transitions. Especially considering it will be 4-person rafts, but I can't wait for the day I get to try out this new concept.
  14. That is incredible news! If I'm gonna be honest I thought that was more of a concept only, I did not except anyone to actually build it, let alone after only 1 year after the unveiling.
  15. Don't think of it as a never built water park, it's more like a catalogue of what rides they offer. For an example, Proslide have a huge flow of new slides, if someone purchased a park and it never got built the slides would be gone almost immediately. Just last year they sold 3 of the huge 8-lane Octopus racer's to China. Stuff like this happens every day, some site even list big cruise ship from Carnival and RCCL for sale, even though they're not. It's just to show what they can offer you.
  16. That is wrong, they are "only" spending €4 millions on this, the 35 millions is in Danish Crowns.
  17. I knew you wouldn't disappoint, completely awesome report! The news about the 200 trees (as well as the Atmosfear webcam) is like wonderful music to my ears!
  18. Found some more pictures, some more up to date than others. Such an awesome mess of water slides! This is one of very few photos of the wave pool. It's said to be a quite big one. I'm really interested in the water coaster, with the 3 big chambers. They sure have used a lot of steel for this tower! Lot's of cool innovative slides in this photo. I always like a good shiny water slide! This will be a fun tower. You can't see it behind the bowl, but the final drop of that pipeline is really big! Shot from the tower of the complex in the previous photo. The family slide sure is big! Here's the inside of The Omnitrix. It will be a 4-people slide into a huge sphere. Some random people, and some more slides. Big-ass play structure. One more. Looks kinda weird how the shut down lanes for the mat racer is just lying there. Source
  19. Actually, when you have the experience of Dal Freeman, they are not that much different.
  20. Now things is starting to get real interesting! It's because Vekoma believes it's better to have people on their back, rather than hanging, in case of an emergency evacuation on the lift.
  21. There is a new generation available, it would look like this, and have the new track system, and the same new train as the Stingray. It's pretty dope if you ask me, and I would love for it to be built somewhere near me (or just somewhere!). Source
  22. So now they have 2 amazing water slide towers! And by the time I can visit this place there will probably be a third as well
  23. It's been almost a month now with no pictures, but today they finally popped up. The bowl slide looks really cool. Lots of colors everywhere! The park has now also specified a little bit more about there opening, it will be around April 25-27, 2014. Earlier they only said it would open in late 2013, but it seems now that there is a more specific date. Source
  24. And World Alley it is! Feels good to actually guess right every once in a while. It will be the same as the one at Siam Park (same in that it have the same two features) with a Tornado 24 and a Tornado Wave. Source
