  1. Yeah, if I said there was a shitstorm on the parks Facebook when Extreme left I would make an understatement. They are still asking for it. I would love an updated Zierer Star Shape for 2015. Hopefully improved, as I find the current ones feeling a bit "braked and non free swinging" if that makes sense.
  2. I'm not sure how it would compare to the megalite price wise. There's no transatlantic shipping to consider, and also the deal is fully done in the same country as it is built. If these were to be considered they would probably end up similar in costs. But it is definitely a great opportunity for Chance to conquer the US market, even though I wish you get a megalite soon.
  3. Have this video been posted? I think it looks a little bit rattly, I hope it's because of a bad camera mounting. Otherwise it seems to haul ass after it enters the high speed curves. Can't wait for a review! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM1UUt05dsc
  4. I think I like the concept with a bowl before the wall more than the concept on Colossal Curl at Water Country. Source Source
  5. Tivolis Air Race is pretty awesome, I would also love to see a fully inverting frisbee like the one at Silverwood. A flying fury would also be insanely cool but capacity is crappier than crap! Don't think we will ever see another Slammer get sold, they just don't hold together. How about a pair of Fabbri Boosters? If they buy two and install them next to each other then capacity would be 32 people, which is more than enough. It would look pretty impressive as well.
  6. Great photos from a park I really like!
  7. That looks awesome! And I agree with the Mack Youngstar, I have been loving them for years now!
  8. Andreas gave an interview a few days ago where he states that young people are the ones who have abandoned Liseberg for other things, and that Helix is now an investment aimed to bring them back. He also says that they will focus on this segment next year as well, so there might be some truth to the rumor about an updated Zierer Star Shape for 2015. Edit: I Meant 2015
  9. Something finally happens here, and I'm leaving for summer just a few days before
  10. I didn't know that, that is very interesting. The future lies in wireless technology so it's nice to see them develop new solutions, and hopefully it will be for the better of the ride. The ride already looks really good, and the early breaking of these towers seems almost gone on this one.
  11. The tubes have arrived and they look pretty cool! Source
  12. Those are some great photos, and i mean really great!
  13. I much prefer the forum so that we can talk about them, but I would like to see more amateur trip reports posted in the forum added to the park index links, so they are easier to find. The park index gives a more serious impression though, I don't know if that matters (I don't think it does).
  14. Every year their is this TV interview with the CEO about what is new, I really like to watch them. It's all in Dannish, but you can see some great footage of the new Viking land. He also mentions the reason the Viking ship won't open until June 5th is that the delivery time for the ride didn't allow them to get all parts before then. I think it all looks very nice!
  15. I'm not a 100%, but I think it will be a free fall and a super loop combo, like at Roaring Springs. source
  16. The tube slide complex is pretty much done, looks awesome! Source
  17. I find it interesting that Coco Cruiser is a Zamperla family gravity coaster, one of the worst children's coaster there is. I would rather have seen them get a reguar wacky worm than this.
  18. The ride is now going up quickly! Going by the look of the webcam I would guess the crew have the weekend of. Also I took some time of my endless studying to relax a bit today, I draw this up: I've never been a fan of the placement of the go karts at Skara. Sure they are great, but I think they should be moved away from the lake, as that area could be much better used (and better looking) for amusement rides in the future. I would like to see the big track behind the smaller go karts track in the future. The area where the go karts are today could be holding a megalite, with some modifications of the lake line. Not because I'm dreaming, but because I really feel it would be the perfect big attraction for this park. It would also look perfect from across the lake. I would also love to see a Star Flyer, it would also fit great with the target audience. Source
  19. Here's two videos, if anybody like to watch.
