It depends on the ride. They should be very manageable, though if you catch Maverick at a truly awful time it could be 45 minutes. Everything else should be 20 minutes or less unless you're waiting for the front on Millennium Force or Dragster. Add a few extra minutes for the front of Gatekeeper but not many. PS: If they have early entry I highly suggest spending that time at Maverick due to the wait time it'll get later. -

They don't. Fury blows Leviathan to hell. Leviathan is still a very fun coaster (and Behemoth is too) but it's the weakest of the North American gigas. I highly recommend the trip though, especially if you add in Niagara Falls or some of the attractions in Toronto. -

That might be the scariest part of the article... I was just about to post that. I would have kept that to myself if I was him. It makes me legitimately question the safety of the other rides in that park (though of course the investigation may change our opinions). Normally I'm all about re-opening the rides because usually even if it is a mechanical failure it can be easily corrected but THE ENTIRE TRAIN FLEW OFF THE TRACKS AND CRASHED INTO A KIDDY RIDE. -
Regular Quick Queue is always dumb but the Quick Queue unlimited is actually pretty great in Tampa. It works like a Cedar Fair Fastlane and you can skip the lines as often as you want on everything. In Williamsburg it doesn't work on Loch Ness Monster or Tempesto which is stupid because they're some of the only coasters in the park that regularly have lines. In Tampa, Montu, Kumba and Sheikra rarely have long lines anyway but they work there just in-case they do. Cheetah Hunt, Flume, Congo Rapids, Scorpion and the mouse (if you care) do get lines though and it's great to be able to skip them all the time. Honestly the park gets so hot with very few indoor attractions that we got it mainly for the flume. Being able to walk right onto it and a skip a 30-45 minute congested queue (seriously... that queue is terrible) as often as we wanted was a godsend since it was pushing 100 degrees. Plus Cheetah Hunt has really low capacity and that was a non-issue with Quick Queue. I don't know how it works on Cobra's Curse but that's really just a bonus.

Knoebels Discussion Thread

Yup. Like the chairlift it didn't used to be but one night the Knoebels executives were up late having a meeting and they were like... "We're really awesome already, and it's almost inconceivable that we could do anything to make us more awesome but does anyone have any ideas?" And from the back of that smoky room someone stood up and said "Yes! I suggest we put Flying Turns, Skyway and Black Diamond on the wristband". And everyone rejoiced. This is most likely how it happened. -
Can I break down the fourth wall here? This is all a code. When a Knoebels fanboy uses words like "little things that make you fall in love with a park" that basically means "Please tell me your favorite thing about Knoebels and what made you fall in love with it". Even without that last paragraph it was obvious that this was a Knoebels appreciation thread. I'm picking up what you're putting down and I wholeheartedly approve.

So the source is literally that you saw on some forum that some guy with 88 posts that nobody knows heard from "a guy" who talked to "some ACE members at SFA a few days ago" that spoke to "a KD official" who said that Hurler did not pass a structural inspection. Sounds legit. -

You forgot to name drop the park's GM's name. That's very pertinent in making it look like you have insider information -

Every day is a great day to visit Knoebels! But go on a Friday so you can buy a wristband. They're not available on weekends. -

There's this weird thing you have to do. Click scroll historical imagery on top and slide it all the way forward. It's stupid and it took forever for me to figure that trick out. -
Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

In the last 12 years, Cedar Point has built 3 coasters (Maverick, Gatekeeper and Valravn). In that time they've removed a grand total of 2 flat rides for coasters (A redundant observation tower and the worst of their 3 car rides... leaving them with 2 more car rides. How many parks do you know that have 2 car rides?) In the time they removed those 2 flat rides for coasters, but they installed 3... Windseeker, Pipe Scream and Lake Erie Eagles and they moved 3 rides that were in the way of other rides instead of removing them (Ocean Motion, Calypso and Dodgems). -

My thought is their social media interns have too much free time on their hands. They better not remove a log flume for a small GCI I like this guy...
