No. You don't have to accept an opposing opinion when the opposing opinion is that you should ignore all of the park staff, argue with park staff and be a complete dick all day which by the way is much more "immature" than that post. PS: That post was amazing -

Pokemon GO at Theme Parks!
coasterbill replied to Peeps28's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The game actually encourages (and forces) you to go on long walks which is worthwhile. Some people do stupid things because some people are stupid, but if they weren't doing something stupid with this game then they'd be doing something else stupid. That's what stupid people do. That would be like blaming cars for people who suck at driving. I had no interest in this game before it came out (or even a few days ago) and basically never play any video game (and I've never once given a sh*t about Pokemon) but I have to admit, it's a cool idea and I kind of like it. I've done a complete 180 on this game. -

It wasn't this morning. It just really cleared up. -

I'm not sure it was stuck. I think it was stopped due to wind. Gatekeeper wasn't running either. And that explains the water dummies. -

This is also the case of I305 at Kings Dominion. In both cases I feel that the problem is that most people are intimidated by the sheer awesomeness that lays before them. Edit: And this has nothing to do with anything but I was just watching the webcam and as further proof that Raptor takes zero sh*t from anyone (after last year's queue gate and restricted area incidents) they just loaded it with water dummies due to high winds I guess and when it entered the barrel roll it sent a massive deluge of water into a crowd of people on the midway. Even from the top of Power Tower that was an impressive wall of water. -

Any coaster you build can "break records" it all depends on how ridiculous you want to get. For example... if it's an Iron Horse they'll "shatter" these 3 records that Valravn "set"... - Most Rides at One Amusement Park - Most Steel Roller Coaster Track at One Amusement Park - Most Roller Coaster Track at One Amusement Park But I don't think the park is interested in investing money to break records nobody cares about when they can just make them up as they go instead. -

And that record would be what exactly? -
I have nothing against the ride really. The only slight flaw is that it's an ugly, painful, horrific piece of sh*t coaster with no redeeming qualities that should be melted down, poured deep into the earth and then they should salt the earth in that spot ensuring nothing will ever grow there because it's such a flaming pile of sh*t. But besides that it's great.

I think riding at night makes every outdoor coaster feel just slightly more awesome but Millennium Force is the only one that strikes me as being an amazing night ride. Be warned. It doesn't stop me from riding it but if the coaster has a lot of bright lights shining up at it (Gatekeeper) it'll feel like it's raining if you ride it at night thanks to the bug apocalypse that occurs every time a train comes by. And sorry for the double post but take note Six Flags, this is how you do something right... Official Announcement of Iron Dragon Virtual Reality My only question is whether or not the ride closes at 9:00 or if it re-opens later and if so, is it VR or non VR? I assume it'll re-open as non VR. Great job by Cedar Point. TAKE NOTES SIX FLAGS. Making it reservation only eliminates the problem of horrendous dispatches and for most of the day it operates normally. This allows people to ride it the way they want to ride it AND gives them an incentive to stay later... spending money in the park and buying dinner in the park so it benefits them too. Bravo. -

Sorry, it seems like there is a bit of a misunderstanding. If I decide to spend time and money to get to a park 10 hours away, I honestly do not feel guilty for "annoying" an employee who is strict enough to lessen a guest's experience over a rule that doesn't have any purpose. If the operator would just let you choose a row if you ask, that's fine. But in my opinion, an operator who constantly refuses to let the paying customers of a park choose their own row is being the @$$hole in that case, and I just believe that they should be treated as such. But I do see your point at how my previous comment wasn't thought-out well. There's no misunderstanding. I understood perfectly. The groupers are being paid to do a job. They didn't come up with the policy, they're just doing their jobs. Ask nicely but don't be an a**hole if they say no. It's not their fault. -

I like the way you worded that. Calling what you described a "social experiment" makes it sound more appealing than calling it by it's traditional name of "acting like a f**king insufferable dick all day". -
It's like thirty seconds long. It takes longer to unload than the ride lasts. It sucks precisely bacause it's too short. It needs to be longer. VR might actually make it better. Xcellerator is 24 seconds from launch to brakes. Pony Express is 27 seconds from launch to brakes and Montezooma is 29. You can complain about the ride all you want (I know I'm in the minority for liking it), but don't pretend the problem is ride time if you like Xcellerator or Montezooma. They're all basically the same.

A second entrance would mean they'd have to pay a few people minimum wage to stand there all day and that's more of an investment than Six Flags is probably comfortable with at this point. If you guys haven't figured this out yet, Six Flags is not going to pay people unless their job is absolutely necessary for the park and the rides within the park to be open or if their employment directly makes them money (concession / food stand cashiers, annoying ass "can I take your picture", Flash Pass people or people that stand at the front of the lines to tell you to buy a locker and people like that). If you think they're going to pay more people to improve capacity, take a look at the cobwebs taking over the other 3 stations on Kingda Ka and the fact that they only staff the bare minimum amount of people and seat checkers on each coaster to allow them to run.

Every Six Flags has been getting a new addition every year, so I'm going to go with yes. The most popular rumor is of a Justice League Dark ride. A few idiots think we're getting a T Rex coaster next year but I highly doubt that since we got a major addition this year. All we have so far are some rumors. They did clear out Chiller's old station but besides that we've seen nothing of interest go up in the park.

It's nothing like being at the end of Robb's, and you're basically arguing with him while saying the exact same thing he just said so I'm just trying to help you out. He clearly stated that he was specifically talking about once in a lifetime trips like this one, then you argued with him until the very end when you ended up saying the same thing he just said. Also regarding the report... front row of Kumba? It's great up there but the back seat is nuts on that ride.
