  1. It doesn't get more Jersey than the park's official IG using the hashtag #FIREAF.

  2. I just really hope they get this thing built quickly, and I get to ride it before Texas makes it illegal to be gay again.

  3. I mean, the running joke around here is that Dorney doesn't get lines because it's always dead because everyone's in the waterpark. And it's an easy joke to make, a nice simple target to punch down at. But it's not really true. Here's the Queue Times data from last year's 4th of July, which was a Sunday with moderate weather: https://queue-times.com/en-US/parks/69/calendar/2021/07/04 This tracks with what I experienced when I visited over this past Memorial Day weekend -- average wait times between 20-30 minutes for most major rides and coasters in the dry park, sometimes getting up to 45 minutes, and you might as well just skip the wild mouse because there's absolutely no reason to wait an hour for that ride. But it's definitely not a case these days where you can just waltz into the park and expect walk-ons on everything anymore, especially not on a busy holiday weekend with nice weather.

  4. During the ACE event in Florida earlier this year a tech on Cheetah Hunt was quick to name Intamin as the worst company for parts right now. He said they are running at about 22 months for most things. Didn't seem to be exaggerating or making it up. They try and keep everything they need on hand but sometimes sht happens.

  5. Part 2 of the documentation about the new coaster dropped and I must say I am extremly confused. They showed some of the POV and the trains. At least one of the 7 Trains seems to have the last row facing backwards. I can't quite decipher it from the visual they showed. When they were done showing some POV they suddenly mentioned that they have some changes that they didn't want to show yet. The layout was vastly different from the one that "leaked" weeks ago. If this is the true layout tho, I'm impressed. It looks far better than the "leaked" one. Please look for yourself: Other than that they were on the MACK Rides factory facility and showed some track for another project. They will start to build the coaster itself in the park in January 2023.

  8. Sir, this is Magic Mountain. What are "flat rides?"

  9. Facebook says the ride is never going to open again. They also said they didn't hear the lap bar click.

  10. This place is so weird. Imagine being able to afford two custom steel looping coasters but not a website.

  11. They aren’t going to get shut down unless the state and county will also be shutting down every other large venue again in the event things get out of control for another big wave. You can watch fans not wearing their masks all night long in the dugout club on every Dodger broadcast. Or anywhere else you go. 100% compliance is not feasible while these businesses are limited on what profit they make. I bash SFMM as much as anybody, but it’s very clear they added more security to do the best they can. Anyone who visits a theme park knows the risks. You are knowingly going to a place where you know there will be thousands of people. Posting on Tik Tok to get some clout for still complaining about covid stuff is dumb and in no way a reflection of reality. You want to see blatant ignoring of safety measures? Try visiting a six flags park in a Republican run state. SFoG will make you very much appreciate SFMM.

  12. It's Six Flags. if you want something without any actual meat in it you could probably just order a cheeseburger.
