CoastersNSich Posted July 18, 2007 Share Posted July 18, 2007 - There was an ad for a Northern Kentucky auto dealer in which they repeatedly said and shouted "TRUCKS! TRUCKS! TRUCKS! TRUCKS! TRUCKS!" and it got so much louder and faster it started sounding like they were saying "DRUGS! DRUGS! DRUGS!.." - Many commercials that feature this annoying voice-over lady (done by Channel 9 WCPO people). Oh and endless use of Arial Black... I stand by saying that Arial doesn't belong in print or TV use. - Once again, Time Warner Cable. - Argosy Casino "Fun Not Far" It's just on so often. Also all those Debt advice companies that will put all your loans into one easy monthly payment loan instead, and injury claims ads too. Discovery channel features these ads all the time. Quiznos does not have bad food but they are over priced, their ADs are some of the lowest form of advertising I have seen in a while and plain and simple. I like Subway better. Now if Quiznos would concentrate on their positives and not take such low swipes at their competiition then maybe they can keep more than 2 of them in this area open. Its for this company called JG Wentworth and its something about selling your insurance. Narrator: Its your money, use it when YOU NEED it! Random guy: It's my money, and I need it NOW! Random girl: It's my money, and I need it NOW! Group of random people: ITS MY MONEY, AND I NEED IT NOW! You can see how that ad can get on your nerve, especially since its on TV a lot. Jim sokolov made them pay." the laughing started at "sprained my ankle" and stopped at "made them pay." another mighty fine example "my doctor said it was heartburn. it was a heart attack." I used to like the song...until it became more used than the Star-Spangled Banner during college football games here in the States. That and anything remotely related in any way to voting, politicians, politics, elections, etc...can't wait for another US election year in 2008... They're get so anoyying and song just gets stuck in your head all day and you can never seem to shake it off. Also, you hear everyone at at school singing so there's really no escape! Another advert, or rather, branch of adverts are the ones by Ktel. BEH! They are about half an hour long and have some stupid womens voice in the background trying but not succeding at convincing you that any of the songs are decent enough even to listen to. Like the 'Tranquility one. Urgh. Hate it, too long, so anoying and all of the songs are absolute rubbish! Stress over: time to calm down... And... Relax...
