ParkTrips
Any park with two Schwarzkopfs deserves more fanboys than you!! (as long as Lagoon doesn't remove either of them for this expansion.. then the park will be dead to me)
TheKlockster
I can't wait to get out and do Lagoon and Silverwood!
Twister II
^Or even better, Lagoon, Silverwood, AND the Mormon temples!
SharkTums
^^You do know it's a 12 hour drive between the two parks right??? Unless you're flying, I don't think those are two parks to do together on the same trip!

Unless you're flying, I don't think those are two parks to do together on the same trip! Unless you're driving down to like, Los Angeles, from Montana. Which I've done. Then it's totally feasible. But other than that...
saturday97
Great, it'll probably open around the time we are moving out of state. Curse you, Lagoon! Seriously though, TPR should do a Lagoon meet next year. I volunteer to help those from the beer thread find suitable beverages!

mikecoolguy
I have a couple friends that work at Lagoon. They told me about the industrial theme, but they also told me it's just what they'd been told by other employees. They didn't seemed to convinced that it would actually be industrial themed. I'm not quite sure what "industrial" themed would even be. I'm guessing something along the lines of the Italian Job coasters. I can't think of anything closer to industrial than that, other than I guess Scream. Mike 8)
SharkTums
Actually, we're totally planning to go to Lagoon for a long weekend next year! Lagoon, S&S, Park City...should be fun!
Twister II
I thought S&S wasn't even open to the public yet?
mikecoolguy
It's open for sure. Here's a link talking about it. http://www.utahstatesman.com/media/storage/paper243/news/2005/09/26/Features/One-Flag.Over.Logan-998084.shtml?norewrite200608062255&sourcedomain=www.utahstatesman.com They changed the name of the park to Celebration something. ECZenith
I had forgotten all about that S&S park. Hopefully they'll set up more of their evil machines. It would be cool if they just kept all the prototypes right in the park and then spiffed them up and opened them for the public... which is actually what they're probably going to do in some cases. mikecoolguy
That's what I've heard. Stan is my aun't uncle. Kind of a distant relative. My aunt knowns that I love roller coasters, so she tells me stuff about Stan and what he's doing with his park. Mike 8)

mikecoolguy
If I wasn't so deathly afraid of heights I'd do the Boom ride. I would pay $5 to go on the Sky Sling though. But not for the Extreme Swing. 8)

Twister II
^OR you could just go on the TPR 2007 MidWest trip, and ride Millennium Force AND get lots of other random crap, plus a tour of the MidWest!

pdon
Lagoon has erected the first vertical support on the new coaster for next year. It looks to be less than 100' tall, so not sure if it is the top hat support or not. Pictures to follow later tonight. The first support, maybe 100' tall.
