ryno1986
I'd say Manta's pretzel loop is the most intense thing I've ever experienced, but since I've heard Tatsu's is worse, I'll have to go with Tatsu being the most intense B&M.
Dietcokevan
Out of the 5 B&M I've been on, Tatsu's pretzel is PURE INSANE, the G's are amazing but thats only for one part of the ride, but the most consistent intense B&M that I've been on is Batman the Ride, my feet get numb when I get off that baby, its amazing! King_K.
Montu, Kumba, Hulk, and DD. I'm a local coaster lover.
The Bebes
I'm so glad to see B:TR getting so much love here. I've always contended that I like it more than other B&M inverts because of its' intense compact nature. Runner up: Alpengeist. Â Most Intense Single Element: TATSU Pretzel Loop! Makes S:UF pretzel loop seem like a kiddie coaster. Â -Mr. Bebe
cfc
I think the Batman rides are good, too, but for my money the most intense B&M rides are Nemesis at Alton Towers and Tatsu (especially that freakin' pretzel loop).
fisher1095
Out of the ones I've been on, I'd have to say Kraken. The first drop is the weirdest feeling I've ever had on a coaster. It kinda feels like positive-G airtime...? You're getting pushed back into your seat and getting that "stomach drop" feeling at the same time... eagleshot
I rode manta a few weeks ago. I can honestly say that for the first time ever on a coaster, I almost blacked out. That Pretzel loop packed so many positive G's it was amazing. I think it's because the pretzel loop is immediately after the first hill. Â I would also agree with everyone with Batman being and all and all intense ride. With that all said, Fire Dragon takes the cake for me. Non stop intenseness. WFChris
From what I have been on, I will go with Tatsu, simply because it is the first and only ride that I do not go on anymore at the park. I rode it a few times, and just get sick after the pretzel loop. I'm out of commission for about an hour. NO other coaster in the park does that to me!!!! Â Chris. tanthonyam
I have to agree with Tatsu. It's the only B&M that made me sick also. The pretzel loop is amazing though. I have never felt that sensation on any coaster before.

Have you ridden any other inverts? B:TR isn't really that good. IMO
alpengeist04
^I think Chuck has been on a few others. Â Â For me it would probably have to be Kumba as a whole. As for a single element, I'm also going with the pretzel loop on the flyers.

Have you ridden any other inverts? B:TR isn't really that good. IMO  Yep--quite a few (the weakest being Silver Bullet at Knott's). I've only ridden three of the Batman clones (Magic Mountain, Great Adventure, and Central Park, where it's called Diavlo), but I think they're solid rides (Montu at BG in Tampa beats them, though, as does Pyrnees at Parque Espana). coolcalicoaster
^I think "solid" is an appropriate adjective for it. I wouldn't go as far as saying they are near the top of the list, as far as inverts go. I expected much more the first time I rode it at SFMM, but it sucked. I had a headache afterwards. Anyway, I gave it a few more chances and tried in different seats, I even tried the clones at other SF parks but just came away thinking it was garbage. I will say this, however: Any invert is better than no invert. (Note to Kings Island)
fisher1095
^I agree. They are just... decent. Definitely not the greatest of the bunch, but I wouldn't call them "garbage"...
nemesiscrazy
I think Tatsu is the most intense B&M especially the Pretzel Loop. The final helix is fairly intense as well.
kumba830
[edit ^^^] Really? Â I think B:TR Is actually an AWESOME ride! Â I mean its got good interaction with the trees and water surrounding it, It's forceful as heck, and its just got an awesome layout for such a compact ride! Â Although I'm not sure on how SFGAm's B:TR ranks among the on at SFMM... Â Â Â Â Â Â So yeah my vote for most forceful B&M is Batty! But for overall craziness I would say Kracken...One of the only roller coasters I have gotten dizzy from riding!
fisher1095
^If you think B:TR is forceful, go try Afterburn at Carowinds and see if you still like B:TR as much. The helix at the end is CRAZY. Anyway, I never said Batman was a "bad" ride, but it's definitely not my favorite by any means.
kumba830
Sorry! I ment to reply to the person above you! I'm fine with what you said.
coolcalicoaster
^It's "meant." Anyway, I just prefer to skip B:TR from now on no matter what park I'm at. I love inverts but not those clones.
Capitalize
Kumba without a doubt is #1 for me. BTR would be up there, the one at SFOG left me greying out a little towards the end. Very short and intense coasters.
RctInfinity
Manta's pretzel loop in the back row was the most intense experience I had on a B&M. I agree with whoever said this in the Manta thread, it reminds me of Mission Space.
eagleshot
[edit ^^^]So yeah my vote for most forceful B&M is Batty! But for overall craziness I would say Kracken...One of the only roller coasters I have gotten dizzy from riding! Â Just out of curiosity, how come several people have said the same thing about "Kraken"? I have rode this ride several times, intense is not what this ride is. Fun...I agree! This B&M floorless coaster is extremely smooth, with exciting inversions. I just don't see this ride as intense. Â Does anyone agree with me? Or am I out on a limb here?
fisher1095
^As I said before... The drop on Kraken is the most intense part. It's just weird. It also has the best Zero-G Roll I've ever been on. The rest, IMO, is just okay...
Satchboogie3
For me, I'd probably say Alpengeist, Montu, and Top Gun (now Afterburner at Carowinds). Many have mentioned Kumba, yet I never found that it was intense. It's one of my favorite B&M coasters, but that is more to do with the layout than intensity. RctInfinity
^^^ I don't think Kraken is intense (I did get that stomach-feeling on the drop, but ONLY a long time ago).
