TheMan Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I'm going to MM tommorow and is there any way to now if X or Deja vu is going to be open?
robbalvey Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 ^ X, yes, Deja Vu probably not. Note: I split this from the Tatsu thread because it had nothing to do with Tatsu. --Robb
ECZenith Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 While there's already a thread here on SFMM... I'm going to SFMM on the 20th of May (Saturday!!) As it gets closer and closer to my trip, I'm worried about the lines on a weekend. On Sunday, there is an ERT event where I'll be able to hit Tatsu, X, Goliath, Revolution, Viper & Scream. That Saturday I'm hoping to hit Batman, Riddler, Deja Vu (if it's open!!) and all the less popular coasters. My question is this... To those of you live nearby, or have done it before-Is it even worth it to go on a Saturday in May (is it insanely crowded on spring weekends)? I know anything can happen, but I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect.
Wes Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 ^ It'll be busy, but not as busy as it would be later in the summer season once schools are out. If you are going to be able to do all the coasters you listed for the ERT, I don't think you'll have a big problem riding everything else during the operating day. Good luck!
coasterguy4 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 ^ ^ Don't worry the breaks are the least crowded times of the year because everyone is to scared to go, so you end up being the only person in the park!
sfmmFREAK Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 i'm going on tuesday, and if deja vu is closed, i will be seriously pissed. i really wanna see ross' face on it!
VegasCoaster Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I'll be going May 17th which is a Wednesday. Not expecting huge crowds but I was wondering when all the high schools start getting out. Hoping to get on every roller coaster open, even if that includes Psyclone, I need the credit.
Angry_Gumball Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Don't expect the log ride to be open either, not that this is the right time to go on water rides. Some dude broke the flume with his forklift when it tipped.
colossus Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 advice to all if your going in the next month expect deja vue, revolution & flashback(alot of people dont know its closed)to be closed the lines should not be to bad but some rides like x,riddlers, goliath & colossus get really slow when there only running one train. and if your going tomorrow good luck i think its going to be raining. ~Chris-O
Wes Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 ^ It's not going to be raining tomorrow. http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USCA1182?from=search_city As for whoever is going May 17th, mid-week in May is the best time to go. Schools here don't usually get out until the the first part of June.
Guy T. Koepp Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Tomorrow is gonna be sunny and low 70s. Probably the nicest day we've had in a couple of weeks.
synaesthetique Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 A natural Dallas Raines, lol Last time I got close enough to look it appeared a section of track in the loading station of Deja Vu was disassembled. I would consider that major maintenance.
