Got a Wii a few days ago. Loving it!

My arm is also in pain from Wii sports over play. Ah well, it's worth it.

Just getting into Mario Galaxy now. I'm in awe!

I got my Wii for Christmas and I LOVE IT! I like the Wii sports and so does my brother, a five year old that can beat me in a round of golf! I also got Mario Galaxy and that game is amazing! I only have 3 stars so far but I like it a lot. The only thing I don't like is some of the really hard and confusing angles you get into in the game.

Next I am planning on getting another remote and a charger. I am really looking into SSX Blur too. Could someone who has that give me a small review on Blur?

After a long good year of gaming on my Wii it has died! The disk drive to be exact. But Nintendos going to repair it for free so got to give them that and it will only take 2 weeks! From the sounds of it this happens every so often. O well first Nintendo system that ive owned to have a problem! All the way back to the NES that I have that works! Take that Microsoft who take a month and a half to get my 360's back and has happend 4 times!

So has anyone elses Wii's had major problems?

Mii cant play now! Im so sad.

Atleast I have a 360 and PS3. But still I play Wii alot its like a missing void of my gaming rutine!

Today there is an emty spot where my Wii should be.

I really need to take mine in, probably best doing it before Brawl...the drive's making this buzzing noise which is extremely loud. Doesn't affect gameplay or the discs themselves but I'm sure that's a sign that it's gonna explode soon.

Can anyone help me with Galaxy? I'm stuck at the level when you into the core. Its in the galaxy with ice and skating. Its in the Bedroom. PM me if you can help. BTW, the Wii is Awsome.

I am starting to think i may be the only one that has a wii that sits there unused most of the time.

I didn't play my Wii for a couple months a while back! You're not alone!

I got back from LA today from my grandparents' house, back to my sweet, sweet Wii. And immediately I popped in Super Mario Galaxy, of course!!!

The game is totally awesome. A must-buy for any Wii owner.

So what I've only gotten the first 2 stars, I love it anyway.

I rented it. DON'T GET IT.

It looks like it could be a really great game, but the uber-complicated controls screw everything up (I can't land a single freakin' trick!). There's some good races in the game, but the controls make everything not worthwhile.

Overall, like I said, DON'T GET IT.

(...or, if you don't believe me, rent it and find out for yourself.)

SSX Blur does not suck! Its really good. You have to be a huge hardcore player because its very complicated but once you get a hang of playing its really good. No casual player would lik it or be good at it. Its one of the best 3rd party Wii games out but all Nintendo first party games are good.

After searching for a while, I finally found and bought a Wii. With it, I picked up Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3. Both games I absolutely love. The Wii is definitely a big surprise in terms of a gaming system. It has far exceeded my expectations.

^ I hear that. I especially like (as i have noted before) the Mii competition channel. BTW, i like your avatar!

So anyway, I'm going to have a little bit of a rant on Guitar Hero 3.

What bugs me with this game is the boss battles. I'm not talking about the incredibly easy meetings with Tom Morello, I'm talking about "Lou" some devil or something. That's the first thing, he's not even a real guitarist. Isn't the game called "Legends of Rock"? But anyway, that wasn't what i intended to rant about. After quite easily defeating easy mode, i moved onto Medium, which (although it starts off quite easy) has gotten pretty hard, but not impossibly so. But the Boss battle is something else. What bugs me is it takes ages before you can get the first power up, but i often miss it because the song is quite hard, and I'm suffering from attacks from Lou, including a really annoying "Lefty Flip" and a switch to hard mode, which makes it impossible as i am not very good at the "hammer ons" etc. And when i use a power up, it hardly does any damage, unless i have a few together as he recovers so easily. This is because he doesn't miss a single note, which really bugs me. No one is perfect. To add to this, i often use them mistakenly, when he is playing nothing. This is because the way i hold the guitar is probably a little different to what the game expects, which really annoys me. What also annoys me is the fact you can't practice the songs they use in the boss battles. That really annoys me, and it doesn't seem like a really guitar hero game.

I also am having problems with multiplayer. I know you are able to use the Wii Remote (B button green, etc) but i can't "Move the wiimote into place" for some reason because it doesn't pick up on my TV. And when it does, i press B (Supposedly Green) and i go back to the main menu! What is up with that? I dunno. If someone could tell me it would me greatly appreciated.

Other than this I am really liking guitar Hero. Especially playing the bass parts in practice mode, something I would like to be able to do in Career mode, but you probably have to beat a level for that to happen. Grrrr.
