Does anyone do the Six Flags Advisory Panel Survey? I just got one in my email. It basically ask which 3 attractions would make a good fit for Six Flags St. Louis. 1: Splash Pad 2: Paintball 3: Six Flags History Museum. We already have 2 of these attractions. The Splash Pad is near the entrance to the kiddie rides. Paintball is across from the Ninja in the arcade. Who would visit the Six Flags History Museum. I love nostalgia but is this what they are working on for next years new attraction?

I got that same survey. Can't speak for SFStL but SFMM needs more water attractions. I made that VERY clear when I took the survey.

I get the advisory panel surveys all the time but not that one. That is hysterical. Let's remind everyone how previous owners paid attention to landscaping and how beautiful it used to be.

SFSTL needs a lot of things water and dry. The Joker Inc.: Reverse Blast is my prediction for next year.

We were very impressed with the fireworks they had on Saturday too..much more than I expected! I noticed that there was a private event at Hurricane Harbor Saturday night too. That would be awesome to be in at night. They should have a Gold season pass private event at Hurricane Harbor on a Saturday night!

For $43.99 ($22 for Season Pass holders), Guests could get into the park, get a catered BBQ meal at the Catering Grove, and had reserved seats for the fireworks on the loungechairs in HH. Honestly it was the best deal I've seen. Hopefully they do it again next 4th of July weekend.

For everyone who received the survey, the Splash Pad would be a basketball sized splash pad with major water elements to play around in in Hurricane Harbor. It would be a high-capacity attraction with minimal staffing needs. (If you've been to Holiday World, basically the former Jungle Jets.)

Just wanted to clear that up. Dave Roemer really wants it to provide a way for families to just have fun without waiting in line.

I am not sure how this is any different than Hucks. Splash Pads are a free neighborhood or city park attraction in my view. I want my family to have fun without waiting in line as well. This could be accomplished by a) adding more rides or b) consistently fully staffing the tube slides and Big Kahuna with OPs. Most of the time one side or the other is closed or only one OP, thus long lines. I have noticed some really entertaining OPs on Tornado recently but their antics slow down the turnaround to much. But if he wants more for the little ones to do without any guards I guess it makes sense. He could also send out less pencil pushers with clipboards and have them help throttle the lines.

Regarding the 4th package I looked into that but the web site gave precious little info about it. No mention of what food would be provided and no mention of where the preferred seating would be. Sounded like to much of a risk of being disappointed to me. Already have dinning passes so all I would be gaining is the seating in HH. If you allowed us to use the tubes with the wave pool turned up to max during fireworks that could be a thrilling experience. (At the risk of a bunch of BBQ clogging the filter house)

Why are you against getting a splash pad? I have a feeling you are thinking that they would market this as a new addition for the year. I'm sure there would be a brand-new ride in addition to this.

I can't tell if that was sarcasm or not.

Earlier comments on this thread indicated Dave (and presumably the corporate bean counters) did not want to expand HH in the near term. Nothing against a splash pad but thrilling rides would be my preference. If SF ads a new ProSlide and a splash pad, awesome. From the deteriorating landscaping and maintenance of the park it is clear "minimal staffing needs" is ruling the day. I am there on average twice a week and Big Kahuna is by far the most popular ride but rarely do they have two OPs running it so it is always at least a half hour wait even on cloudy weekdays.

Dave says he also wants to bring back the Mule-Go-Round, but he's afraid it might be too intense for some families. I've heard if we do get the Mule-Go-Round, it will come from Six Flags Mexico, where it has been sitting in storage for forty years.

How would it be to intense for families?

Sometimes you just arrive to late to the party to have any fun. This appears to be one if those times. If you go back 50 pages and read through you have a chance, may not even have to go that far back.
