disney4me2001 Posted April 29, 2015 Share Posted April 29, 2015 Well, I just had to spend nearly all my fertilizer today upgrading my Monsanto Research Center with the new update. I'm really confused with where we're going on this update. I agree...I'm upgrading my research center to unlock the extra jobs and payouts, but I have yet to craft anything, and now I'm nowhere near getting the Farmers Market! ^ & ^^ That doesn't make sense though. The more you upgrade the main building, the faster you earn fertilizer and corn. Yes, you have to spend a lot to get there, but its comes back faster then if you didn't do it. Yep, this is how I understand it, and it should work! Just seems to be moving at a glacial pace right now though in terms of getting enough fertilizer, corn, and now DNA to craft things. Level 16 adds more characters at do work but their tasks only adds DNA stuff instead of more Fertilizer. As it is now, I play every 60 minutes and I'm generating a lot of stuff. I am tapped out of it now, but it only took me one day to get enough fertilizer to go from level 15 to 16. So if my calculations are correct, it should only take a week to get the farmer's market now, the way I am playing. Should have another prison by tomorrow morning, if not tonight. chadster Posted May 3, 2015 Share Posted May 3, 2015 I stopped upgrading my building right before the add DNA character point, meh to DNA. The spray on the other hand has come in handy. I did read where the Bob want a be's should be paying 5 gas masks but some glitch occurs after you get prize 3 and you get relegated to just 3 gas masks. Allegedly they are working on a solution. Now I get to wait for the 24hr build time. :/ I've got my spray at level 14, makes a huge difference in how fast fertilizer and whatnot piles up. Now it's time to collect DNA. chadster Posted May 6, 2015 Share Posted May 6, 2015 Yeah, Brockman has to be free to start it, but he's one of the main DNA earners. Slaughterhosue will set you back 1.2 million and comes with Dora. So I'm with you, either going to slow play the update and save it for when there is nothing else going on, or pass on it completely until nothing else is going on. The upgrades though really pile on the goodies, just too bad they hand out fertilizer on what seems to be an 8 to 1 ratio to DNA. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
