chadster Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 ^I only managed to get 3 total rail pieces for this week, when I saw one was a short, one turny piece, and the odd shaped piece, I said pbbt, and put everyone to work!
jray21 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I never got my 5 donuts and 5 pieces. It say's I'm at 74346/70000, but won't give them to me. Oh well.
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Did you try going into Krusty Land or your Neighborhood? That seems to fix the issue.
jray21 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Oh that's right, I forgot that's all it took. I wish they would add more to Krustyland.
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 I do feel they abandoned Krusty Land and Squidport. I wish they would add more for both. But at least with Squid Port, we can add quite a few of the buildings to the boardwalk area.
chadster Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Agreed, Krustyland has become the La Ronde of tapped out, we know it's there, but don't really care. Â In other news, the new send all your people on 24hour tasks or how ever many hours you like from the unemployment office is going to be a real time saver.
SharkTums Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 ^Loved seeing that when I logged in today. Still waiting for the 'pick up all of your money from buildings' thing though!
BCTom Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Such a great addition. It was fine tapping on individual characters to a point, but with so many being added to the game all the time this was necessary to keep the game fun, and not tedious.
jray21 Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Yeah, I really like the new send everyone task. I'm still trying to get to a billion with Springfield Heights, but it's nice to send everyone of those on tasks, then use the send everyone feature to send the rest of the people on tasks.
BCTom Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 ^Loved seeing that when I logged in today. Still waiting for the 'pick up all of your money from buildings' thing though! Â It is here as well, once you advance in the quest line.
chadster Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Just unlocked the IRS! Wait, will the fed's come after me for saying that?
BCTom Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 It's not as good as Family Guy's collect from every building at once mechanism, but it makes collecting a lot less tedious.
OldJJman Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 It's not as good as Family Guy's collect from every building at once mechanism, but it makes collecting a lot less tedious. Â I agree, though I was hoping for a one button collection. I didn't even notice how much it cost to upgrade. Works nicely though.
jbottgen Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 ^I'm not complaining. Much better than it has been.
chadster Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 I stopped upgrading the IRS when it hit 1 million, I only have 5 million in the bank!
OldJJman Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 I stopped upgrading the IRS when it hit 1 million, I only have 5 million in the bank! Â I "think" the total investment was around 20 million. I didn't realize it till after I was done, and down to 94mil. I "think" I had around 114mil at the time.
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 ^So, there currently is a cap on how much you can invest. So, at max investment, how big is a single tap? Larger then the visible area on the screen? I'm wanting to know if the large investment amount is worth it or not.
SharkTums Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 ^I'd be curious to know that as well. I'm currently on Level 7 and the next upgrade is $5 million.
jray21 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 I read somewhere, can't find it, that Level 9 is the max. Level 6 is $1 million, Level 7 is $3 million, Level 8 is $5 million, and Level 9 is $7 million. I'd also like to know what the size of level 9 is. I'm currently at Level 7, and it seems pretty good.
OldJJman Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 When I'm playing on my iPad, and pinch the land down, it does pretty much cover the whole screen. Maybe a tad bit more to the sides. Â A good example would be: if you look at my housing farm on the lower right of my land, it only takes 2 taps to cover all of the houses.
BCTom Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 There is a current exploit in the game, that may or may not be corrected in the future. Â The tennis court in Springfield Heights was previously a premium item, and included a bonus to XP and money. It can now be bought without donuts, but the bonuses remain (despite not being mentioned in the item description). Â Buying them right now is quite useful.
PeoplemoverMatt Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Looks like the tennis courts were removed as part of another Gil update today. Gil's hawking Octoberfest stuff with a donut rebate offer.
BCTom Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Bummer. At least I snagged 11 of them, and the bonus appears to be intact.
